A channel run collects up to 5 videos on Free and up to 500 on Basic, Pro and Studio. Background jobs on Pro and Studio can cover the whole channel.
Close the Browser
Background jobs run on our servers. Sign in from any device and open Library > Jobs to see progress, pause, resume or stop.
Captions First
Jobs are captions-only by default. Choose "Captions, then Whisper" to transcribe uncaptioned videos within your Whisper allowance.
Date Ranges
Limit a run to a date range so you collect the period you need.
Honest Result Counts
Jobs separate newly saved, already saved, no captions and unavailable videos, with the reason for each missing transcript.
Export the Library
Download your Library as a zip with channel folders, an index.csv, and with CSV format an optional combined CSV, in TXT, Markdown, SRT, CSV or HTML.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a large channel take?
It depends on the channel and on YouTube. ChannelScout backs off when YouTube throttles requests, so large jobs can take hours. There is no guaranteed finish time, and saved transcripts are usable while the job runs.
Which plans include background jobs?
Pro ($19/month) and Studio ($39/month). Basic can collect up to 500 videos per channel run in the page, and Free up to 5.
Does a bulk run use my monthly allowance?
Yes. Each new transcript counts toward your captioned transcript allowance, and Whisper uses its own job and minute allowance. Studio captioned transcripts are unlimited under fair use.
