The Problem
YouTube notifications tell you a channel uploaded something. They do not tell you whether anyone in the video mentioned your company, your topic or a name you track. Finding out means watching every new upload.
The Solution
ChannelScout checks followed channels for new videos about once an hour and reads their transcripts. Your saved keywords are matched against the spoken words, and you only hear about the videos that say them.

Each email names the video and channel and quotes up to three matching passages with your keyword highlighted.
Straight to the Moment
Every quoted passage shows its time in the video and links to YouTube at that second, or to the full transcript in ChannelScout.
Real Search Syntax
Alerts accept AND, OR and NOT, "exact phrases", wildcards such as climate*, and proximity like NEAR/10, up to 12 terms.
Daily or Instant
Free and Basic get summary emails: daily at 7 AM your time or after channel checks. Pro and Studio can also choose instant emails, up to 10 or 30 a day.
Channel Rules on Studio
By default an alert covers every channel you follow. Studio can limit an alert to chosen followed channels.
A History in Your Library
Matches from the last 30 days stay listed next to your alerts, so a missed email is not a missed mention.

Create a free account and verify your email address
Paste a YouTube channel link in Transcribe and choose Follow
In your Library, open Following and add a keyword or phrase
Pick daily or after-check emails for that alert, or keep your account default
Wait for a new upload: alerts cover videos found after the alert was created
Open the email and jump to each quoted moment
Frequently Asked Questions
How many alerts and channels does each plan include?
Free: 1 alert and 1 followed channel. Basic $9: 5 alerts and 2 channels. Pro $19: 25 alerts and 5 channels. Studio $39: 100 alerts and 20 channels.
Does it work on videos without captions?
On Free and Basic, followed channels use available captions only, so a video with no captions is not checked. Pro and Studio can turn on Whisper for followed channels within their monthly Whisper minutes.
Will I get flooded with email?
No. Summary emails combine matches, and after-check summaries go out at most once every three hours. Instant emails have a daily cap, after which matches roll into your next summary. You can turn email off per alert or mute a channel.
Does an alert search old videos?
No. An alert watches new videos found after you create it. To search a channel's back catalogue, collect its transcripts and search them in your Library.
