Find What a YouTuber Said
Across Their Whole Channel

You remember the quote but not the video. Collect transcripts from the channel, search them all at once, and get the video and the timestamp for every match.

Free plan, no credit card required. Your first transcripts need no signup.

The Problem

A creator mentioned a product, a name or a claim "in one of their videos." The channel has hundreds of uploads, and YouTube search only looks at titles and descriptions, not what was said.

The Solution

Paste the channel URL into ChannelScout. It lists the channel's videos and collects their transcripts into your Library, where one search covers all of them.

From Channel to Answer

Paste a Channel or Playlist

A channel run collects up to 5 videos on Free (or signed out) and up to 500 on Basic, Pro and Studio. Choose a date range to focus on the right period.

Background Jobs for Big Channels

On Pro and Studio, a whole channel can run as a background job on our servers. Close the tab and check progress later in Library > Jobs.

One Search, Every Video

Library search uses AND, OR, NOT, "exact phrases" and NEAR/n proximity, with a regex mode. Filter results to one channel.

Video and Timestamp

Each match names the video and the time it was said, so you can watch the moment in context instead of trusting a summary.

Follow the Channel

Follow a channel to collect its recent videos and check hourly for new uploads with captions. Free follows 1 channel, Basic 2, Pro 5, Studio 20.

Quote It Accurately

Copy the exact words from the transcript, and download it as Markdown or HTML with clickable YouTube timestamp links.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many videos can I search on one channel?

A single channel run collects up to 5 videos on Free and up to 500 on paid plans. Pro and Studio can run background jobs for larger channels. Your monthly transcript allowance still applies.

What if some videos have no captions?

Channel collection uses available captions. Background jobs on Pro and Studio can be set to "Captions, then Whisper" so uncaptioned videos are transcribed within your Whisper allowance.

Will it find a word the speaker mispronounced?

Search works on the transcript text. Automatic captions sometimes spell names wrongly, so try a wildcard or a nearby word with NEAR/n if an exact match does not appear.
