[0:15] the time so we're gonna start

[0:17] reading in verse number one we're gonna

[0:19] read down to verse number four today

[0:22] of revelation chapter 17.

[0:25] verse number one and there came one of

[0:26] the seven angels

[0:28] which had the seven vials and talked

[0:31] with me

[0:31] saying unto me come hither i will show

[0:34] unto thee the judgment

[0:35] of the great that sitteth upon

[0:37] many waters

[0:39] with whom the kings of the earth have

[0:40] committed fornication

[0:42] and the inhabitants of the earth had

[0:43] been made drunk with the whine of her

[0:45] fornication

[0:46] so he carried me away in the spirit into

[0:48] the wilderness

[0:49] and i saw a woman sit upon a scarlet

[0:51] colored beast

[0:53] full of names of blasphemy having seven

[0:55] heads and ten horns

[0:57] and the woman was arrayed in purple and

[0:59] scarlet color

[1:00] and decked with gold and precious stones

[1:02] and pearls

[1:03] having a golden cup in her handful of

[1:06] abominations

[1:07] and the filthiness of her fornication

[1:11] now as you read those four verses you

[1:12] may be scratching your head going what

[1:14] is that talking about

[1:16] well in chapter 16 we closed with the

[1:18] emptying of the seventh vial last week

[1:21] in our video

[1:22] part of the judgment that this vial

[1:24] brought

[1:25] included god's judgment against babylon

[1:28] revelation

[1:28] 16 19 it talked about that and in

[1:31] chapter 17 and

[1:32] 18 it enlarges upon this event so in

[1:36] chapter 16 we have the chronological

[1:38] event

[1:39] in 17 and 18 we have the microscope that

[1:42] opens up for us and shows us what

[1:45] is that event all about and so chapter

[1:49] 17 and 18 enlarges us to this event

[1:52] by exposing babylon for what it really

[1:53] is this chapter is dedicated to the

[1:56] overthrow and the destruction

[1:58] of the that apostasy and the world

[2:01] religious

[2:02] system the next chapter is dealing with

[2:05] political babylon now no other city

[2:08] is referred in to in scripture more than

[2:11] babylon

[2:12] except for jerusalem it is referenced

[2:16] 266 times

[2:19] in the bible the word babylon had its

[2:22] beginnings in genesis chapter 10 10

[2:25] with the city of babel now the term

[2:28] babylon

[2:29] goes back to nimrod and samaramus

[2:32] who began what has been carried down to

[2:34] the generation since

[2:36] its its inception after the flood when

[2:39] the tower of babel was built

[2:41] the word babel was recognized

[2:45] to mean confusion because of the

[2:48] languages were confused

[2:51] in the bible babylon has represented a

[2:53] false system of religion

[2:55] ever since its inception of religion in

[2:58] genesis chapter 10.

[3:00] now when nimrod built it babylon it was

[3:03] babyl

[3:04] which means house of god and he put

[3:06] himself on the throne and he

[3:08] wanted people to come see him or

[3:11] actually i believe it's

[3:12] gate of god so in the record of the

[3:15] religion of babel

[3:16] the wife of nimrod was sumerimus

[3:20] when samaramus gave birth to a son

[3:23] she said that her son was conceived

[3:26] miraculously by a sunbeam

[3:28] and she offered him as a promised

[3:30] deliverer

[3:50] ceremonies and tammuz that the cultic

[3:52] worship

[3:53] of the mother and child began to spread

[3:56] now in ezekiel chapter 8

[3:58] verses 13 and 15 it talks with this it

[4:01] he said also unto me turn thee yet again

[4:04] and thou shalt see greater abominations

[4:06] that they do

[4:07] then he brought me to the door of the

[4:09] gate of the lord's house

[4:11] which was toward the north and behold

[4:14] there sat women weeping for tammuz

[4:18] then said unto men hast thou seen this

[4:20] old son of man

[4:21] turned it yet again and thou shalt see

[4:23] greater abominations than these and

[4:25] during ezekiel's time

[4:27] there were those in israel who were

[4:29] weeping or

[4:30] mourning tammuz and his

[4:34] supposed death and resurrection that

[4:36] that was there now

[4:38] this is many thousands of years later

[4:41] than when it was there with nimrod but

[4:44] we find the

[4:45] madonna style of worship has become

[4:48] available

[4:48] today from ceremonies and tammuz

[4:53] now our study shows that there will be a

[4:55] marriage between the religious system

[4:57] and the political system the antichrist

[5:00] the apostate church will work together

[5:02] to oppose god

[5:04] in revelation 17 the babylonian system

[5:07] otherwise known as the roman religious

[5:10] system

[5:11] is going to be destroyed and in

[5:13] revelation chapter 18

[5:15] the babylonian political economic system

[5:19] that will be destroyed as well

[5:22] so in this chapter we're gonna

[5:26] go back to verse number one and look at

[5:29] this

[5:29] and so uh in verse number one it said

[5:32] there came up one of the seven angels

[5:34] which had the seven vials so one of the

[5:36] angels

[5:37] that poured out their vile the measured

[5:39] valuable that

[5:40] had god's judgment in it came to john

[5:43] and he said

[5:44] come up hither now here here's the words

[5:47] here that are important one of the seven

[5:48] angels that had the vile spoke

[5:51] to john come hither now three times in

[5:54] the book of revelation

[5:55] john is bitten to come hither once is in

[5:58] revelation 4

[5:59] 1 with the revelation or the vision of

[6:02] heaven

[6:03] in revelation 17 1 the judgment of the

[6:07] great

[6:08] and once again in revelation 29 1 verse

[6:11] 9

[6:11] to see the bride the lamb's wife here

[6:14] the angel

[6:15] explains the great horse so we see come

[6:18] up hither and i will show unto thee the

[6:20] judgment of the great that sitteth

[6:23] upon many waters

[6:25] in revelation the figure of the woman

[6:28] is used symbolically of religion

[6:31] jezebel represents the pagan idolatry

[6:35] of the past now look at revelation 2 20

[6:38] and that references there

[6:40] the idolatrous worship of jezebel

[6:43] and it says it there the woman clothed

[6:45] with the sun

[6:46] represents evil in revelation 12 1. so

[6:48] now we've got two figures of women

[6:51] that are representing religious groups

[6:53] the false idolatry of the past

[6:56] the woman and with the son in revelation

[6:59] 12

[6:59] 1 the bride of christ represents the

[7:02] true church

[7:03] revelation 19 verses 7 and 8 chapter 21

[7:06] 9

[7:07] ephesians 5 25 and 26

[7:10] and now here in revelation again is this

[7:13] woman the great

[7:15] represents the apostate church the false

[7:18] religious

[7:19] system that's going to be operating

[7:21] during the

[7:22] tribulation period so

[7:25] who is this woman well secular history

[7:27] and tradition

[7:28] teach that nimrod married a woman named

[7:31] samaras

[7:32] who called herself watch this the queen

[7:34] of heaven

[7:36] the queen of heaven now that was

[7:38] historical

[7:39] books said that

[7:42] ceramics married nimrod and she called

[7:45] herself the queen of heaven

[7:47] now you say well pastor how do you know

[8:03] and the fathers kindle the fire and the

[8:06] women need their dough

[8:07] to make cakes to the queen

[8:10] of heaven and to pour out drink

[8:13] offerings unto other gods

[8:15] that they may provoke me to anger

[8:18] so jesus christ references that god

[8:21] references that in jeremiah 7

[8:23] 18 the queen of heaven also in jeremiah

[8:25] 44 25

[8:27] they'll say the lord of hosts the god of

[8:28] israel saying ye and your wives have

[8:30] both spoken with our mouths

[8:32] and filled with your hand saying we will

[8:34] surely perform our vows that we have

[8:36] vowed

[8:36] to burn incense to the queen of heaven

[8:41] and to pour out drink offerings unto her

[8:43] you will surely accomplish your vows

[8:45] and surely perform your vows so in

[8:48] jeremiah there's two

[8:49] references to the queen of heaven

[8:52] and so piecing the pieces together we

[8:55] see that ceramics

[8:56] married nimrod and referenced the queen

[8:58] of heaven

[8:59] she also eventually married tammies her

[9:01] own son because she said

[9:03] that right after nimrod died she was

[9:07] found to be pregnant with

[9:09] a child and so now history differs some

[9:12] people have said

[9:13] that she was in an incestuous relation

[9:16] or in a relationship an idolatrous

[9:18] relationship

[9:19] and that adulterous relationship

[9:21] produced that before nimrod died

[9:24] some say it's actually nimrod's son

[9:26] we're not for certain

[9:27] i wasn't there but we do know the fact

[9:30] is true

[9:31] that she has a child now nimrod's dead

[9:34] so she claims

[9:35] that nimrod was reincarnated

[9:38] as the sun god now that's before

[9:40] reincarnation becomes

[9:42] popular in today's teaching this is

[9:44] thousands of years ago

[9:46] after the flood before the tower of

[9:49] babel

[9:50] so she says nimrod's been reincarnated

[9:53] and he is now the sun god

[9:56] and that the sunbeam shined down from

[10:06] is born she says that he's nimrod

[10:09] reincarnated and she eventually ends up

[10:24] future

[10:25] savior so she claimed that her son

[10:28] tammies fulfilled this prophecy in

[10:30] ezekiel 8

[10:30] 14 it said that brought me to the door

[10:36] and so she uses tammuz as that reference

[10:38] this led to the

[10:40] institution of the idolatrous religious

[10:44] which made both her and her son

[10:48] to be objects of divine worship

[10:52] she herself became the first high

[10:55] and thus began the mother child madonna

[10:58] cult idol cult which has spread

[11:02] all over the world from babylon

[11:05] it spread to phoenicia and in phoenicia

[11:09] under the name of asteroth and tamius

[11:13] in egypt it continued on the mother

[11:20] in greece it was aphrodite and eros

[11:23] in rome this pair was worshiped as venus

[11:56] that in the last days perilous times

[11:59] for many shall be lovers of their own

[12:06] and unholy without natural affection

[12:09] truce breakers false accusers

[12:11] incontinent fierce despisers of those

[12:15] high-minded lovers of pleasure more than

[12:18] lovers of god

[12:19] having a form of godliness but denying

[12:21] the power thereof from such

[12:24] turn away and in chapter 4 of 2 timothy

[12:26] continues

[12:27] for the time will come they will not

[12:29] endure sound doctrine but after their

[12:31] own lust shall heap to themselves

[12:32] teachers

[12:33] having itching ears they shall turn away

[12:36] their ears from the truth

[12:37] and shall be turned to fables

[12:41] so this idolatrous worship the spirit of

[12:44] babylon

[12:45] turned out to be a man-made way of

[12:47] salvation

[12:49] through works which oppose god's way of

[12:52] grace so you can go all the way back to

[12:54] nimrod and seramis

[12:56] and find this mother child

[13:00] god worship and it continues on across

[13:03] the world

[13:05] you've seen it in different countries

[13:06] and even in different religions there's

[13:09] the mother earth and the gods or her

[13:12] child the son and there's everything

[13:15] that involves that idolatrous worship

[13:17] and what happened is people took

[13:19] christianity and they mingled it with

[13:22] the world and you've got the roman

[13:25] catholicism catholic means universal

[13:29] or liberal so it's the universal

[13:31] religion

[13:33] so it tells us here where is the woman

[13:36] it says in verse 1 that she sitteth upon

[13:38] many waters which indicates she enjoys

[13:42] world wide ecclesiastical power

[13:45] so preacher how do you know that verse

[13:47] number 15

[13:49] of revelation 17 tells us and he saith

[13:52] unto me

[13:53] the waters which thou sawest where the

[13:56] horse sitteth are peoples

[13:58] and multitudes and nations and tongues

[14:02] so if anyone has a

[14:06] large universal church

[14:10] religious system it is catholicism

[14:13] catholicism claims to have 1.8 billion

[14:17] with a b

[14:18] followers 1.8 billion followers now

[14:22] that's an

[14:22] old study from a few years ago i don't

[14:25] have any updated

[14:26] re numbers for you but that from just

[14:29] three years ago

[14:30] 1.8 billion followers

[14:34] so she holds this power now i'm going to

[14:37] talk more about that in just a minute

[14:40] and what is this woman well in verse 17

[14:43] uh chapter 17 verse 18 that says the

[14:46] woman which thou sawest

[14:48] is that great city which reigneth over

[14:50] kings

[14:51] of the earth so it's a great city and

[14:53] we're going to talk about that more

[14:55] later on now look at verse 2 with whom

[14:58] the kings of the earth have committed

[14:59] fornication

[15:00] and the inhabitants of the earth have

[15:02] been made drunk with the wine over

[15:03] fornication

[15:04] here's the wretchedness of this system

[15:07] of

[15:08] universal religion the influence of this

[15:10] religion is so great that kings have

[15:12] indulged themselves with her

[15:14] having become drunk in her corruption

[15:17] she used the tactics of bribery to get

[15:20] people to surrender to godly principles

[15:23] christians should be separated from the

[15:25] world and should never surrender their

[15:27] principles

[15:28] for money or honor or position to its

[15:31] victims

[15:32] it doctrines its doctrines and views

[15:35] have an intoxicating

[15:36] influence over the minds of those who

[15:39] are deceived thereby

[15:40] so she's committed fornication and in

[15:42] the old testament

[15:44] you have this reference to the

[15:45] babylonian system

[15:47] where israel the bible described it have

[15:50] committed adultery against god

[15:52] and gone a whoring after false religions

[15:55] and were swept up in the

[15:57] egyptian world in the babylonian world

[15:59] in the assyrian world and all of it

[16:01] revolved around this

[16:03] mother-son worship

[16:06] and so the wretchedness there now verse

[16:08] three it says that he's carried it away

[16:26] the relation of the harlot to the world

[16:29] system so chapter 17 is the

[16:31] ecclesiastical system chapter 18

[16:34] is the political economic system that's

[16:36] controlled by the beast

[16:38] so they're influenced together the beast

[16:41] the antichrist is seen supporting this

[16:44] religious system

[16:45] he does this only to advance himself

[16:47] during the first half

[16:49] of the tribulation period but he dumps

[16:53] her in the last half

[16:55] once she is used and abused revelation

[16:57] 17

[16:58] 16 says this about this situation the

[17:01] ten horns which shall sauce upon the

[17:03] beast

[17:04] these shall hate the and shall

[17:06] make her desolate and naked

[17:08] and shall eat her flesh and burn her

[17:09] with fire

[17:11] so in the last half they dump her

[17:14] the position of each shows that this

[17:16] super church

[17:17] is actually directing the beast and

[17:20] ruling the world through him

[17:22] during the first half of the tribulation

[17:24] period

[17:25] ruling the world is the desire of the

[17:28] roman catholic church and it has been

[17:30] for centuries

[17:31] it is a mixture of church and state

[17:34] or religion and politics each was using

[17:37] the other for its own

[17:39] advancement so the catholic church has

[17:42] done that

[17:43] through the inquisition and through the

[17:45] crusades and all of the different things

[17:47] it is

[17:48] billions of people have been martyred

[17:52] and killed in the name of catholicism

[17:56] and so it is a powerful religion

[17:59] that expands across the globe and let me

[18:02] tell you a little bit about it

[18:04] here's the wealth verse 4 it says the

[18:06] woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet

[18:08] color

[18:09] decked with gold precious stones and

[18:11] pearls having a golden cup in her hand

[18:13] full of abominations and filthiness of

[18:15] her fornication

[18:17] she's decked out in purple and scarlet

[18:19] colored gold jewels

[18:21] who doesn't know that by purple and

[18:24] scarlet

[18:26] when you hear purple and scarlet these

[18:27] are the colors

[18:29] of the catholic church many of the

[18:32] bishops wear

[18:33] red robes the purple

[18:36] indicating authority and royalty the

[18:38] catholic church

[18:40] is by far the wealthiest organization

[18:44] in the world its wealth has been

[18:46] obtained through its religious

[18:48] trafficking over the years of its

[18:50] existence now

[18:51] according to 2021 wealth

[18:54] records the catholic church has an

[18:57] estimated wealth

[18:58] of more than 30 billion dollars

[19:02] now it's an estimation of its net worth

[19:06] because it comes from its ownership of

[19:07] properties including churches

[19:10] schools presbyteries hospitals

[19:13] nursing homes offices tennis courts

[19:16] parks telephone towers communication

[19:20] facilities all of those things are

[19:24] amassed

[19:25] in the wealth of the catholic church it

[19:27] owns property

[19:28] on every continent i believe except for

[19:31] antarctica

[19:32] i haven't found a catholic church in

[19:33] antarctica yet that's a joke for some of

[19:36] you to laugh for just a minute

[19:38] but all the other continents that are

[19:41] occupied there's

[19:42] catholic churches there they're

[19:44] everywhere

[19:46] it has a universal effect their desire

[19:48] for wealth

[19:49] their desire to influence political

[19:54] representatives and authoritarians to

[19:57] sway their power

[19:59] you can see it all across the world the

[20:01] influence of

[20:03] the catholic church and what's going to

[20:04] happen is they do not believe

[20:06] in a true biblical teaching of salvation

[20:11] it's works based and it has very much

[20:14] its

[20:15] roots in samaras and tamas

[20:19] tammuz and you see it carried on that

[20:21] madonna style they elevate

[20:23] mary and they lower jesus christ it's

[20:26] more about her

[20:28] they pray to mary hail mary full of

[20:31] grace

[20:32] mother mary pray for us whoa that's not

[20:35] who we go to

[20:37] there's only one mediator between god

[20:39] and man it's the man christ jesus

[20:41] there's no reason to pray to mary mary

[20:44] can't forgive your sins

[20:46] mary can't go to jesus on your behalf no

[20:48] you pray directly to jesus christ he's

[20:51] the one who forgives and cleanses us

[20:53] from all sin

[20:54] but the sad reality here in chapter 17

[20:58] is that there's going to be a religious

[20:59] system for the first three and a half

[21:01] years

[21:02] that plays a major role in the

[21:03] tribulation that's literally going to

[21:05] set up the antichrist to rise to power

[21:09] and use its resources

[21:11] to spread his message across and then

[21:14] halfway through

[21:15] the entire crisis i'm done with you and

[21:17] the devil's leadership takes over and

[21:20] it's amazing to see what happens

[21:22] the seven heads and the ten horns we're

[21:24] going to talk about later on in our

[21:26] next upcoming videos and describe that

[21:28] to you

[21:29] those 10 heads deal with the 10

[21:32] confederate states that come together

[21:35] and are part of a

[21:37] union of countries and kings and we'll

[21:39] talk more about that

[21:40] and the seven heads that are there but

[21:53] how to be saved that ephesians 2 8 9 for

[21:56] by grace are you saved through faith

[22:06] what it says here in revelation 17 about

[22:08] babylon

[22:09] and in their own study notes in their

[22:11] catholic bible it will tell you that

[22:13] babylon refers to rome

[22:15] they believe it in their own bible that

[22:18] teach that babylon

[22:20] in revelation 17 references them

[22:23] and their denominate their church so

[22:26] it's sad pray for your catholic

[22:29] neighbors and catholic friends

[22:31] share the gospel with them invite them

[22:33] to church because god can still save

[22:35] sinners

[22:36] and god has enough grace to save any man
