[0:05] fear people here, but that's the reality
[0:07] of what we're looking at right now.
[0:08] We've had word from emergency managers
[0:10] that if you live in elevations below 10
[0:12] ft along the waterways, you need to
[0:15] evacuate. But Jim, this is going to be
[0:17] something that has to be decided on a
[0:18] case-by-case basis. Many folks are going
[0:20] to be riding this storm out. They have
[0:22] no choice but to ride this storm out. It
[0:24] might actually be more dangerous to
[0:25] leave at this point for some some
[0:28] people.
[0:28] I'm I'm sure we're scaring some people
[0:30] half to death. We're that's not our
[0:32] intention. We're trying we're we're
[0:34] trying to
[0:35] show you what we believe and what the
[0:37] evidence shows.
[0:39] At this point, we would not recommend
[0:41] necessarily
[0:44] okay, here we go.
[0:45] go. Let's see the weather computer.
[0:46] the weather computer right now. Here's
[0:47] brand new information from the National
[0:49] Hurricane Center.
[0:51] 25.7 82.5 now moving to the
[0:54] north-northeast at 20 mph. It's highest
[0:58] sustained winds, as we speculated, 125
[1:01] mph,
[1:03] which now makes Charlie stronger than
[1:06] Hurricane Donna back in 1960. And the
[1:10] threshold for category 4 is 131.
[1:13] I've just done a distance calculation
[1:15] now. Again, we're talking about our
[1:17] outer islands being the closest to the
[1:19] impact of the storm. From Sanibel,
[1:21] Captiva, the eye of the storm is now 50
[1:25] 59 miles from Captiva Island off to the
[1:29] south-southwest.
[1:30] With the forward motion of 29 mph, it's
[1:33] 2 hours
[1:34] 20 mph. We're talking
[1:37] 2 to 3 hours before
[1:38] the eye wall, potentially the eye wall
[1:41] now. That's that that that's a big we
[1:42] haven't really talked a
