[0:53] >> Good evening everyone. The crisis in
[0:55] Pakistan took another serious and
[0:57] violent turn today when President
[0:59] Musharov temporarily put his chief
[1:01] opponent Benazir Bhau under house
[1:04] arrest. It's a move that angered the

[1:12] Islamic radicals. Sheila McVicker is in
[1:15] the capital Islamabad. Sheila, what is
[1:17] Budau's status right now?
[1:21] >> The government says that she's no longer
[1:23] under detention. and her advisers say
[1:25] there are still dozens of police around
[1:27] her house and coils of barbed wire. This
[1:30] day always promised chaos with threats
[1:33] of a large rally organized by BH. When
[1:36] dawn came, she was under house arrest
[1:38] and thousands of her supporters were in
[1:40] detention.
[1:43] >> The threat was clear. Any supporter who
[1:45] came close to Benazir BH's home today
[1:47] risked arrest.
