[0:02] Trapped at a railroad crossing, there
[0:04] are deaths and many injuries. The
[0:07] government says this is what can happen
[0:09] when some Chrysler minivans are involved
[0:11] in a crash. Also tonight, [music] it
[0:14] promises good taste and a trim waste.
[0:17] But some say the new artificial fat is a
[0:21] real health [music] risk.
[0:24] This is the CBS Evening News
[0:28] with Dan Rather reporting tonight from
[0:30] Fort Worth, Texas. Good evening. It is
[0:34] almost unimaginable the fear in the

[1:20] high school students were killed. At
[1:22] least two dozen were injured, some
[1:24] critically. Rescue helicopters and 15
[1:27] ambulances rushed the injured to
[1:29] hospitals. But incredibly, a few of the
[1:32] students walked away.
[1:34] >> Everybody's running out of the bus
[1:35] trying to get out of there.
[1:36] >> Witnesses say the bus crossed over the
[1:38] track and stopped at a red light, but
[1:40] the rear of the bus never cleared the
[1:42] rails. Some witnesses say there was also
[1:45] a car in front of th
