[0:04] time to stop by today we're on week

[0:06] number 59

[0:08] and it's exciting to be

[0:10] near the end of the book and we're in

[0:12] chapter 21 of revelation and we're going

[0:15] to begin reading in verse number 22. the

[0:17] bible says and i saw no temple therein

[0:21] for the lord god almighty and the lamb

[0:24] are the temple of it

[0:25] and the city had no need of sun

[0:28] neither of moon to shine in it for the

[0:31] glory of the lord god did lighten it and

[0:33] the lamb is the light thereof

[0:36] so here in these two verses and

[0:38] especially we're going to look at them

[0:40] break them down and we'll go through the

[0:41] rest of the chapter as well today says i

[0:44] saw no temple there's no need now the

[0:46] temple

[0:47] is the place where mankind would

[0:50] fellowship with god and so

[0:52] the reality is here during eternity

[0:55] there's no temple needed because we're

[0:57] going to be with him we're going to be

[0:59] with the lord and so shall we ever be

[1:01] with the lord the bible says and so

[1:03] we'll have the opportunity to fellowship

[1:05] and worship with god the abode of god at

[1:07] all times and so we're looking forward

[1:09] to that so there's no need for a temple

[1:12] because we're going to be with god

[1:14] because the lord god almighty and the

[1:17] lamb are the temple of it

[1:20] it's interesting when you read that

[1:21] verse to be reminded that god is

[1:23] almighty he's just not mighty he's

[1:26] almighty he's the almighty god and the

[1:29] reason you and i will be in this place

[1:31] this heaven will be there because of the

[1:34] lamb

[1:35] jesus christ became the lamb of god

[1:37] which taketh away the sin of the world

[1:40] and so because we were found written in

[1:42] the lamb's book of life we accepted

[1:43] jesus christ as our savior and we are in

[1:47] the lamb's book of life that's why we

[1:48] get to be in this heaven and verse 23

[1:51] and the city had no need of the sun

[1:54] neither of the moon to shine in it for

[1:56] the glory of god did lighten it and the

[1:59] lamb is the light thereof

[2:01] you know in the gospels we read about ye

[2:04] are the light of the world and we see

[2:05] that the light we have is the light of

[2:08] jesus christ and he is that light

[2:10] and so during the eternity future we're

[2:14] going to see in this new jerusalem that

[2:16] comes down this heavenly city that if

[2:19] you did not watch the video last week we

[2:21] talked about all the jewels and those

[2:23] precious stones and the brightness that

[2:26] it'll shine with but the light of it

[2:28] will be the lamb of god it'll shine all

[2:31] across the world and there'll be no

[2:33] night

[2:34] no more night there

[2:35] and so i look forward to that time and

[2:38] uh that means if there's no night

[2:40] there's no weariness there's no

[2:42] tiredness there's no sleepiness there's

[2:45] no achiness because god has given us

[2:48] glorified bodies

[2:50] and verse 24 is an interesting verse it

[2:53] says and the nations of them

[2:55] which are saved shall walk in the light

[2:59] of it and the kings of the earth do

[3:02] bring their glory and honor into it

[3:06] and the gates of it shall not be shut at

[3:08] all by day for there shall be

[3:10] no night there

[3:12] so many have asked pastor who are the

[3:15] nations

[3:16] of the earth here that are referenced

[3:18] the nations of them that are saved

[3:20] and so there's two possibilities one is

[3:23] that some people believe the term

[3:25] nations their references to those that

[3:28] are gentiles

[3:29] having access to new jerusalem

[3:32] i don't believe it's to be that

[3:35] the bible describes for us that there's

[3:37] going to be people

[3:39] that

[3:40] choose god during the millennial kingdom

[3:43] at the end of the millennial kingdom

[3:44] satan is loose for a period of season

[3:46] and he tempts the nations and there are

[3:48] those nations that will be gathered

[3:50] against god at the battle of gog and

[3:53] magog

[3:54] and those nations will be gathered

[3:55] against god but there will also be some

[3:57] who choose

[3:59] not to follow satan but choose jesus

[4:01] christ instead so those people during

[4:04] the millennial kingdom who are not part

[4:06] of the church that's raptured out that

[4:08] are not israel that other group of

[4:11] people which are gentile people those

[4:14] nations will choose jesus christ they'll

[4:17] be saved

[4:18] and after they're saved they'll be

[4:20] translated to the new earth

[4:23] now that means there'll be a group of

[4:25] people that god has supernaturally

[4:28] translated to the new earth

[4:30] what does that mean

[4:32] i have no idea what that means uh

[4:35] someone asked me does that mean they

[4:36] have bodies like we have bodies that are

[4:38] fleshly body zooey gooey sticky with

[4:40] bones inside

[4:42] possibly

[4:44] but their bodies i would say this way

[4:46] have been translated they're different

[4:48] than our current bodies

[4:50] because we know there's no sin there

[4:53] and they've been redeemed by the blood

[4:55] of the lamb and they're found written in

[4:57] the lamb's book of life as we see in the

[4:59] end of verse 27 and in verse 26 there's

[5:02] no sin there so they can't have a body

[5:05] like you and i have because we got a

[5:06] flesh sin nature

[5:08] and during the millennial kingdom that

[5:11] is uh the same nature of mankind is

[5:14] repressed it's not obliterated it's not

[5:17] denied them it's just repressed it's

[5:20] squashed down

[5:21] by the power of god

[5:24] so these people are saved

[5:27] and they get translated into the new

[5:29] earth

[5:30] so it's possible that they have physical

[5:33] bodies it's possible that they have

[5:35] glorified bodies it's possible that

[5:38] they've got a translated body which is

[5:40] different

[5:41] from any other body

[5:43] and i believe this where the bible is

[5:45] silent we should be silent now it's okay

[5:48] to have thoughts that it could be this

[5:50] or it could be that but we can't

[5:51] definitively say it's definitely this

[5:54] now the bible does tell us those of us

[5:56] that are saved and are we are get

[5:59] raptured out with the church that we

[6:00] will rule and reign with christ and so

[6:03] there'll be people that are different

[6:06] group of people than the nation of

[6:08] israel a different group of people than

[6:11] those that are raptured uh at the church

[6:14] into the church age there's a third

[6:16] group of people that are being a

[6:17] different kind of person

[6:20] i don't know how their bodies will be

[6:23] but we do know that they will be

[6:26] bringing glory and honor

[6:29] to jesus christ in the new heaven and so

[6:32] they'll be an opportunity for that the

[6:34] kings of them will enter into it and so

[6:37] we we see that there's going to be

[6:39] people there on earth uh we also find in

[6:42] the end of the millennial kingdom we

[6:44] could say this way we had the

[6:46] judgment found in matthew 25 of the

[6:49] sheep and goat nations and what happens

[6:52] with that so that's sometime during the

[6:54] millennial kingdom we have that judgment

[6:55] as well

[6:56] and so we can see here definitely that

[6:59] there's a group of people that are going

[7:01] to be saved that's the important part

[7:04] the only people that are in the new

[7:05] heaven and the new earth are saved

[7:07] people and the only way you get there is

[7:09] by john 14 16 said i am the way the

[7:11] truth and the life no man cometh unto

[7:13] the father but by me the only way they

[7:16] can be there is it's found in matthew 27

[7:18] or excuse me in revelation 21 27 that

[7:21] their names are written in the lamb's

[7:23] book of life and so they've got to be

[7:25] saved in order to be there so they're

[7:28] saved individuals you'll notice verse 26

[7:31] and they shall bring the glory and honor

[7:33] of the nations into it

[7:35] and verse 27 and there shall in no wise

[7:38] enter into it anything that defileth

[7:41] neither whatsoever worketh abomination

[7:43] or maketh a lie but they which are

[7:45] written in the lamb's book of life

[7:48] so in verse 27 it's not telling us that

[7:52] there's a possibility for sin because

[7:54] there's not sin is annihilated at the

[7:56] great white throne judgment of god

[7:59] satan is cast forever into the lake of

[8:02] fire all those that have rejected jesus

[8:04] christ are cast forever into the lake of

[8:07] fire and so we know that the only way

[8:10] you get to heaven is by being saved by

[8:12] the blood of jesus christ we know the

[8:14] church is raptured out and they get

[8:16] glorified bodies we know the nation of

[8:18] israel those that have died in in the

[8:21] faith in the old testament time frame

[8:24] and coming in to the millennial kingdom

[8:26] they will be

[8:27] resurrected to rule and reign during the

[8:29] millennial kingdom uh we know that

[8:32] they'll have glorified bodies as well

[8:34] they'll be those that are living that

[8:36] are israel living during the millennial

[8:38] kingdom that have physical bodies and

[8:40] physical characteristics but we know all

[8:43] those that enter into

[8:45] the new heaven and new earth

[8:48] are going to be people that god

[8:51] has saved

[8:53] and so we find their names are written

[8:55] in the lamb's book of life

[8:57] and if you're watching this video today

[8:59] can i ask you is your name there

[9:01] is your name written in the lamb's book

[9:03] of life has there been a time where you

[9:05] accepted jesus christ as your savior and

[9:08] you asked him to come into your heart

[9:09] and save you

[9:11] and you know that you're saved well you

[9:12] got a reservation in heaven

[9:15] and so to answer the question who are

[9:18] the nations

[9:19] i could say it to you this way you're

[9:21] gonna have to wait till you get there to

[9:23] find out for sure

[9:25] it could be this it could be that it

[9:27] could be people in new bodies that we've

[9:30] never seen anything like before

[9:32] it could be people in glorified bodies

[9:35] it could be people in physical bodies we

[9:37] do know that there'll be no sin and so

[9:40] in order for there to be no sin

[9:42] something's got to change in their life

[9:44] and so

[9:46] we look forward to heaven

[9:48] you know

[9:48] chapter 21 and chapter 22 gives us just

[9:52] a glimpse but it doesn't give us all the

[9:54] details

[9:55] there's a lot of things that the bible

[9:57] says you'll have to wait and see

[10:00] and we look forward to that day

[10:03] and i look forward to going into the

[10:05] next chapter verse 1 says of chapter 22

[10:07] and he showed me a pure river of water

[10:10] of life clear as crystal proceeding out

[10:13] of the throne of god and of the lamb

[10:16] and we're going to talk more about that

[10:18] next week

[10:19] and the beauty of heaven in chapter

[10:21] number 22 and talking about the

[10:24] different steps that are there and so

[10:25] but today

[10:26] i want to remind you of this do you know

[10:29] that you're on your way to heaven

[10:31] and if you do know be thankful heavens

[10:34] almost in view

[10:36] and we're gonna get there sooner than

[10:38] you think

[10:39] i'm looking forward to the day i'm not

[10:41] looking for the undertaker i'm looking

[10:43] for the upper taker but until then if

[10:45] the rapture doesn't happen we'll see you
