[0:23] ouy uh it looks like Nixon nobody is
[0:27] really
[0:28] surprised and committed uh Republican
[0:32] feels
[0:34] cheated what was the fuss all about

[1:10] ladies and gentlemen of the
[1:13] convention the chair wishes to make an
[1:18] announcement we have had a wonderful
[1:23] convention and I congratulate the
[1:26] delegates and
[1:28] alternates the guests in the
[1:31] gallery and the
[1:33] press for the cooperation that they have
[1:36] extended to the
[1:39] chairman and I particularly wish to
[1:41] express my
[1:44] appreciation to those who have been
[1:47] handling
[1:50] the allocation of
[1:53] time for the various individuals whose
[1:57] names have been placed in nomination
[2:01] but we are coming now for the rest of
[2:04] the time prior to the
[2:06] balloting where we must also continue to
[2:10] have the full cooperation of everybody
[2:13] in this great convention hall and I hope
[2:17] and trust that the
[2:18] chair will get that cooperation as we
[2:22] proceed with the business of the
[2:26] convention at this point
[2:31] the chair is
[2:34] honored to
[2:36] recognize for the purpose of placing a
[2:40] name and
[2:42] nomination for the office of
[2:47] President and the delegate who will make
[2:50] the nominating
