[0:59] Good evening. Well, there are two
[1:01] starkly different views of OJ Simpson
[1:03] for his jury in that Los Angeles
[1:05] courtroom tonight. The court now is in
[1:08] its dinner break, but earlier Simpson
[1:10] was first portrayed as a walking time
[1:12] bomb who killed his ex-wife and Ronald
[1:15] Goldman in a rage that had been building
[1:17] for months. Then he was described as a
[1:19] man who has been wronged, falsely
[1:22] accused, and set up by a terrible
[1:25] investigation. Today, it was prosecutor
[1:27] Christopher Darden head-to-head against
[1:28] Johnny Cochran with just one audience,
[1:31] the 10 women and two men of the jury.
[1:34] NBC's David Bloom on what may have been
[1:37] the most momentous day of this long
[1:38] trial.
[1:41] Today, in a calm voice with a commanding
[1:44] presence, defense attorney Johnny
[1:46] Cochran told jurors he would take them
[1:48] on a journey toward justice. Good
[1:51] afternoon. Co
