[0:00] Floyd moves in here overnight tonight.
[0:02] The eye will come close to here or just
[0:04] off to our east. We're going to have
[0:06] hurricane force wind gust. There's going
[0:07] to be a tidal surge out on the beach and
[0:09] especially up the coast towards the
[0:11] Outer Banks. So, we're going to get
[0:12] another beating. These beaches were
[0:13] hammered with Dennis a few weeks ago.
[0:15] More beach erosion. We'll likely have
[0:17] some power outages and more heavy
[0:19] rainfall, just what they don't need in
[0:21] this part of the Carolas. Well, the
[0:24] heavy rain is moving up the eastern
[0:25] seabboard. And our weather channel's
[0:27] Bill Connealy has tked from Florida
[0:29] where he was covering Floyd a couple of
[0:31] days ago up to Chesapeake Bay country.
[0:33] He reports now from Solomon's Island,
[0:35] Maryland on the weather as it goes
[0:37] downhill there over the next couple of
[0:38] days. Bill. All right, Mike, thanks a
[0:40] lot. Again, the rain is upon us now.
[0:42] It's not hurricane induced necessarily,
[0:44] but that big trough is steering a lot of
[0:46] rain in off the Atlantic Ocean right
[0:47] now. And that is what we've seen today.
[0:49] We started our trip in Baltimore, drove
[0:51] down Highway 2, probably have had about
[0:53] a half an inch to an inch of rain here
[0:56] in southeastern Maryland. But the rain
[0:57] will be the big story obviously over the
[1:00] next couple of days. Want to show you
[1:01] some of the scenes as we came south.
[1:03] Again, we arrived in Baltimore, drove
[1:05] south about 070 miles or so, and came
[1:08] down to Solomon's Island. We are right
[1:10] where the Peduxit River meets up with
[1:12] the Chesapeake about halfway down the
[1:14] Chesapeake
