[0:00] ical discipline strategy will allow them

[0:02] to begin living normally again. Talking

[0:04] points has some suggestions. Any person

[0:06] or company exploiting the situation

[0:08] should be immediately identified and

[0:10] prosecuted to the fullest extent of the

[0:12] law. This includes looters. No

[0:14] justification for taking TV sets. That

[0:16] should get you a harsh prison term.

[0:19] Every American should immediately cut

[0:21] back gasoline and oil consumption right

[0:23] now. Don't drive unless you have to

[0:25] watch the thermostats in your house.

[0:27] Energy Secretary Samuel Bodman should

[0:29] inform American oil companies not to

[0:56] barrel on the open market. Do the math.

[0:58] This is a gouge. And finally, Americans

[1:00] should help the Red Cross and other

[1:01] legitimate charitable organizations as

[1:03] we did in the tsunami disaster. Also,

[1:05] one more thing. Hotel owners in the

[1:07] South should make vacancies known to the

[1:10] authorities and not price gouge. After

[1:12] all, we're not OPEC here. Over the next

[1:15] few weeks, the factor will do what we

[1:16] always do. We will watch those in power

[1:18] to see exactly how they help the folks

[1:20] hurt by Katrina. That includes you oil

[1:23] company CEOs. You're on notice. And

[1:26] that's the memo. Now for the top story

[1:27] tonight,
