[0:00] we used to write all these like 20 page
[0:01] prds
[0:03] that nobody wants to read. Like why do
[0:05] you think prototypes are better and and
[0:07] like how do we normalize this stuff?
[0:08] >> One of the first things we actually did
[0:10] was build a template. Well, I sent this
[0:12] out to the PM team with like a little
[0:13] loom explaining on them how to like fork
[0:15] from this and this allowed teams to kind
[0:17] of go out and like really start to
[0:19] experiment and build out more pages.
[0:21] >> Jeremy, chief product officer at Vanta
[0:24] and former VP of product at GitHub and
[0:26] Microsoft. I don't think the PRD
[0:28] completely dies, but like seeing is
[0:31] believing. I want to like close my eyes
[0:33] and like open them and like try to like
[0:34] become the customer, you know, and I'm
[0:36] like, "Okay, if I was seeing this for
[0:38] the first time, is it working?" Do you
[0:41] have any advice for like the big tech PM
[0:43] like worry about their job or like, you
[0:45] know, paying their mortgage?
[0:46] >> Yeah, I think it's um
[0:51] All right, welcome everyone. And my
[0:52] guest today is Jeremy, chief product
[0:54] officer at Vanta and former VP of
[0:57] product at GitHub and Microsoft. Really
[0:59] excited to talk to Jeremy today about
[1:01] normalizing prototypes over PRDS. You
[1:04] know, his favorite AI workflows to uh
[1:06] for PM work and the top skills that PMs
[1:09] need to learn uh in this new era. Uh
[1:12] we'll also cover how the team ran AI
[1:14] evaluations for Vanta's new AI agent.
[1:17] So, welcome Jeremy.
[1:19] >> Yeah, thanks for having me. Excited for
[1:20] the conversation. All right. So, why
[1:22] don't we start with like a hot topic,
[1:24] right? So, you know, we we both
