[0:02] This is
[0:15] CNN. Ships scour the waters off Hawaii
[0:18] for survivors from Friday's collision of
[0:20] a US sub and a Japanese boat. As the
[0:23] Navy searches for answers, astronauts
[0:26] from the shuttle Atlantis add a key
[0:28] piece to the International Space
[0:29] Station. We'll have an update on their
[0:31] date with
[0:32] destiny. And a summer travel crisis in
[0:36] the making. Why employees at four of the
[0:38] nation's leading airlines are
[0:39] threatening to walk off the
[0:43] job. From the CNN Center in Atlanta,
[0:45] welcome to CNN Saturday. I'm Brian
[0:47] Nelson. Thank you for joining us. Well,
[0:49] we begin right now with the submarine
[0:51] collision off the coast of Hawaii.
[0:52] Search continues for nine missing
[0:54] Japanese citizens who were aboard the
[0:56] research vessel that was struck by US
[0:58] Navy submarine yesterday. 26 others have
[1:01] already been rescued. The US Navy is
[1:03] expected to hold a news conference at
[1:05] any time. And when that happens, we will
[1:07] carry it live. The two boats collided
[1:09] I'm sorry, that will not be live. It'll
[1:10] be on tape. The two boats collided just
[1:12] before 2 p.m. local time yesterday in
[1:15] waters 10 miles south of Pearl Harbor.
[1:17] According to Navy officials, the wreck
[1:19] occurred as the USS Greenville was
[1:21] surfacing, emerging just beneath the
[1:24] Japanese research boat, shattering its
[1:25] all. The Japanese boat sank within
[1:28] minutes. The Coast Guard says it found
[1:30] the Japanese crew and passengers in
[1:32] yellow lifeboats floating among the
[1:34] debris. The 26 survivors were airlifted
[1:37] out and were transported to Honolulu.
[1:40] These right now, what you're looking at
