[0:00] We're at here.

[0:07] On World News Tonight, under attack. The

[0:10] bloodiest day of the week in the Middle

[0:12] East. The Israelis ignore the US and

[0:15] press on with their invasion.

[0:17] American Taliban. The young man captured

[0:20] in Afghanistan is flown to Virginia. The

[0:23] difficult task of building a criminal

[0:25] case against him. Sacred ground. We'll

[0:28] take a closer look at the last mound of

[0:30] rubble in the ruins of the trade towers.

[0:32] The beginning of the end for the

[0:34] cleanup. And seizure dogs. Animals who

[0:38] are so much more than pets. Helping

[0:42] protecting them.

[0:47] From ABC News world headquarters in New

[1:05] pressed on with their week-old offensive

[1:08] and it was the bloodiest day in months.

[1:10] 27 Palestinians were killed in fierce

[1:13] firefights on the West Bank. One Israeli

[1:15] soldier was also killed. The US said

[1:18] today that Colin Powell, the Secretary

[1:20] of State, will leave for the region on

[1:22] Sunday. But there is little sign that

[1:24] the Israelis are listening at all to the

[1:26] Bush administration. ABC's Dean Reynolds

[1:29] is in Jerusalem tonight. Good evening,

[1:31] Dean.

[1:33] Good evening, Elizabeth. Well, we've

[1:34] learned tonight that the army has killed

[1:36] a Palestinian, it says, masterminded two

[1:39] recent suicide attacks. Attacks that

[1:42] killed 41 Israelis.

[1:45] US envoy Anthony Zinni met with Yasse
