[0:57] From [music] NBC News World Headquarters
[1:00] in New York, this is NBC Nightly News
[1:03] with Tom Brokoff.
[1:05] >> Good evening. It appears tonight that
[1:07] another worker with a grudge has decided
[1:09] that gunfire is the answer. A heavily
[1:12] armed man entered a Xerox office
[1:14] building in Honolulu around 8 this
[1:16] morning and began shooting. Officials
[1:18] say that seven are dead tonight. These
[1:20] shootings occurred a few miles from
[1:22] downtown Honolulu, well away from the
[1:25] popular tourist beaches. NBC's Bob
[1:28] Dodson has been following the story.
[1:31] >> Witnesses say the killings began with a
[1:33] wave. The suspect calmly calling out a
[1:36] traditional Hawaiian greeting as he
[1:38] strolled into the engineering section of
[1:40] this Xerox building near Honolulu.
[1:42] >> Our boss calling our names, you know,
[1:44] said, "Hey, follow us." And we asked him
[1:46] what happened. So, somebody got shot.
[1:47] >> Seven dead, all men, all Xerox
[1:50] employees.
[1:52] The suspect identified as 40-year-old
