[0:20] blockades. The government authorizes use

[0:23] of unproven AIDS drugs. And an EPA

[0:26] report links electromagnetic fields and

[0:29] cancer.

[0:35] reporting. Good evening. The US Supreme

[0:37] Court approved new limits today on

[0:40] protest by anti-abortion groups.

[0:42] Justices upheld a permanent ban on

[0:45] demonstrators who physically try to

[0:46] block entrances to abortion clinics.

[0:49] Today's ruling was on a case from New

[0:50] York, but it's expected to affect

[0:52] anti-abortion groups using similar

[0:55] tactics nationwide. CBS News law

[0:58] correspondent Rita Braver has our

[0:59] report.

[1:01] >> The Supreme Court action is bad news for

[1:03] Operation Rescue, the group that has

[1:06] staged hundreds of controversial

[1:08] abortion clinic blockades nationwide.

[1:10] Abortion Rights advocates call it a

[1:12] victory for them. Operation Rescue and

[1:14] its followers have every right to

[1:16] disapprove of of uh abortion, but they

[1:19] have no right to block access to a

[1:21] healthcare facility.

[1:23] >> Don't kill your baby, lady. Please

[1:25] don't.

[1:25] >> The protesters claim they are exercising

[1:28] their First Amendment rights of free

[1:29] speech, but many local courts have ruled

[1:31] that the demonstrators are trespassing

[1:33] on private property and harassing

[1:35] patients. It is very wearing to every

[1:38] day have to walk through a group of very

[1:42] obnoxious,
