[0:01] grocery store in Tucson, Arizona and a
[0:04] spokesman for the Pima County Sheriff's
[0:06] Department says that among the victims
[0:08] or included in the victims are at least
[0:10] 12 people. They describe them as
[0:12] injured. They do not use the word
[0:14] wounded. The shooting reportedly took
[0:16] place around 10:00 a.m. local time. That
[0:18] would have been noon Eastern time. And
[0:20] now we have heard from the Tucson
[0:22] Citizens newspaper that among those who
[0:25] may have been wounded was Congresswoman
[0:27] Gabrielle Giffords who is a Democrat
[0:30] with the House of Representatives. The
[0:32] reason this is noted is she had an event
[0:36] taking place at this grocery store which
[0:38] is a Safeway in Tucson, Arizona. It was
[0:41] described as a Congressperson on your
[0:43] corner kind of gathering. These are
[0:45] often held by people in Congress where
[0:47] they go back to meet with their
[0:48] constituents. What is notable here is
[0:51] that an event like that would have been
[0:53] posted. In fact, it was on the
[0:54] Congresswoman's website and it was
[0:57] stated that this was her first Congress
[0:59] on your corner of the year to be held
[1:01] Saturday, January 8th at the supermarket
[1:04] in Northwest Tucson. So, it appears that
[1:07] shots have been fired. According to the
[1:10] public information officer of the Pima
[1:11] County Sheriff's Department, a dozen
[1:13] people have been injured
[1:16] and that there have been people
[1:18] transported to the Northwest Medical
[1:20] Center in Tucson, Arizona. We do not
[1:23] have the conditions of any of those who
[1:26] have either been injured or who have
