[10:41] God's called them to and God's using

[10:44] them in and uh we've been supporters of

[10:46] that Ministry for years now and we're

[10:48] thankful for that but today is our

[10:51] change to change the life offering and

[10:54] uh I didn't tell him we were doing this

[10:56] so he doesn't know this next part um but

[10:58] we've been encouraging uh folks to bring

[11:01] in change for the offering today and on

[11:04] the bus today it was I love my Bible

[11:06] Sunday and they were bringing uh Bibles

[11:09] this morning and we had one bus that had

[11:12] 100%

[11:13] participation everyone on the bus

[11:15] brought their Bible this morning so

[11:17] they've got a special prize when they

[11:19] leave today but we also encourage them

[11:22] to uh all the young people and all the

[11:24] adults as well to be involved in giving

[11:28] the change offer to change a life

[11:31] because just a little bit of

[11:33] change ises opportunity for the word of

[11:35] God to be printed taken across we may

[11:39] not

[11:42] go but we can send the word of God and

[11:46] the word of God can change a life and so

[11:49] this morning we're going to get involved

[11:51] in our change to change a life offering

[11:54] and so we're going to change the whole

[11:56] order of service and you're all going to

[11:58] be confused and it's going to be

[12:00] great and so what we're going to do is

[12:02] you're going to remain seated for this

[12:05] next congregational song and we're going

[12:08] to start on the very first verse with

[12:10] our Junior church and preschool coming

[18:31] understand that Penny produces three

[18:33] pages in a Thai Bible and so every time

[18:37] you see a penny we We As Americans think

[18:40] oh there's one cent every time I see a

[18:42] penny I think well there's a missionary

[18:44] and there's three pages in a Thai Bible

[18:47] and so uh I view pennies a little

[18:49] differently now but uh you know you also

[18:53] look at a quarter it costs a quarter to

[18:57] produce a John and Romans to be able to

[18:59] produce it and for us to ship it so when

[19:02] you go to our display table out back

[19:04] you'll see uh different John and Romans

[19:06] on on there and you look at it and

[19:09] realize that's 25 cents that's 25 cents

[19:11] that's 25 cents now let me ask you a

[19:14] question we've started um we started

[19:17] printing our covers with putting a track

[19:20] on the back of our John and Romans so

[19:22] they not only get John and Romans but

[19:24] they get a gospel track in with that now

[19:28] why why wouldn't we want to hand out

[19:30] gospel tracks John and Romans and when

[19:34] you stop and think about the price of it

[19:37] it is Pennies on a dollar for us to get

[19:41] the gospel out I say some of that not

[19:43] just to say thank you for the change

[19:45] that you've given to help us get

[19:47] scripture and get the gospel to

[19:49] Southeast Asia but also to encourage you

[19:51] your track has your church has a whole

[19:53] uh rack full of

[19:55] tracks it is Pennies on a dollar for you

[19:59] to grab some of those tracks and leave

[20:01] them today hey it's Sunday somebody's

[20:04] gonna go out to eat

[20:05] today so leave a gospel track with a

[20:08] good

[20:09] tip amen don't don't don't be chiny with

[20:13] the tip to the uh waitress and then just

[20:16] leave her a track all right but uh leave

[20:18] a tip and you're helping to share the

[20:21] gospel and the truth of the matter is

[20:22] that gospel track is Pennies on a dollar

[20:25] it's costing us pennies to get the

[20:27] gospel out and so thank you so very much

[20:29] for that a penny is three pages a

[20:32] quarter is of John and Romans a dollar

[20:35] helps us to produce a uh do we have a

[20:37] paper one out there babe we got a or we

[20:41] do in our

[20:42] bag we don't okay a paper a dollar

[20:45] produces a paper New Testament we use

[20:48] those as a special gift when you come to

[20:51] church and then the leather New

[20:52] Testaments that you see out there those

[20:54] cost

[20:55] $3 all right and then the whole Bible is

[20:58] 8

[20:59] but again a penny produces three pages

[21:02] and so thank you so very much for that

[21:04] you really you look at change and you

[21:06] don't think nothing about it but I look

[21:08] at change and uh we've got kids all over

[21:12] America and now in other parts of the

[21:14] country that are saving

[21:17] change to help us to get scriptures we

[21:20] got kids in Thailand that are saving

[21:22] change to help us to be able to produce

[21:25] scripture for their own people and so

[30:23] children of Israel he says behold I have

[30:26] set the land before you you go in and

[30:29] possess the land which the Lord swear

[30:41] after them I want to speak to you this

[30:43] more on this subject what has God given

[30:47] that is yet to be

[30:49] possessed what has God given that has

[30:52] yet to be possessed let's pray father I

[30:54] pray you'd help me this morning to be a

[30:56] help to these that dear people

[30:58] Lord thank you for this thought thank

[31:00] you for your word Lord thank you that

[31:02] your word is inexhaustible and Lord how

[31:05] many times have I read this passage of

[31:06] scripture and never thought about this

[31:09] particular thought but Lord this week

[31:12] you you've just uh laid this thought on

[31:14] my mind and Lord the direction and so

[31:17] father I I follow you and I pray that

[31:19] you'd use your word this morning in our

[31:21] hearts in our lives thank you for the

[31:23] offering that has been given Lord how

[31:26] many things do we have

[31:28] that you've given in your mind that have

[31:31] yet to be possessed by us and so father

[31:34] again use your word this morning speak

[31:36] to Hearts please in Jesus name we ask

[31:39] amen you know the truth of the matter is

[31:41] is most Christians never fully gain all

[31:46] that God has ready to give to you now

[31:50] now I want to preface this by saying

[31:51] this is not a health wealth and

[31:53] Prosperity Gospel message all right but

[31:57] for us to not realize that God has some

[32:01] things available to us as his child and

[32:06] yet we don't take advantage of the

[32:09] things that God has available to us I'll

[32:11] give you an illustration what I mean I

[32:13] remember years ago hearing a preacher uh

[32:16] talk about and give an illustration that

[32:18] that he dreamed that he uh had this

[32:21] dream and that he he entered into heaven

[32:24] and the Lord met him there and the Lord

[32:26] was taking him around

[32:28] and and showing him heaven and then they

[32:30] got to this building and the Lord opened

[32:33] up the door and they walked in and here

[32:35] were all these things in this building

[32:38] and and he looked at the Lord and he

[32:39] said what is this and the Lord looked at

[32:42] him and said these are the all the

[32:43] things that I had available for you but

[32:47] you never

[32:49] asked you know the Bible says you have

[32:52] not because you ask not and I stopped

[32:56] and thought about that I our Bible is

[32:58] full of promises that the average

[33:01] Christian really never prays for you

[33:04] know look look with me if you would back

[33:06] in our text in verse number

[33:08] eight God had already promised this land

[33:11] notice what he says go in and possess

[33:14] the land which the Lord swear or

[33:17] promised unto your fathers Abraham Isaac

[33:21] and Jacob to give unto them and to their

[33:25] seed after them God is already had

[33:28] already promised the promised land to

[33:31] the children of Israel starting with

[33:33] Abraham and then his son Isaac and then

[33:36] his son Jacob and then to the children

[33:38] of Israel all they had to do was go in

[33:41] and possess the land I want you to look

[33:43] with me W down in verse number 10 it

[33:45] says the Lord your God hath multiplied

[33:49] children of Israel behold you are as

[34:20] says and when we departed from Horeb we

[34:23] went through all that great and terrible

[34:25] Wilderness which you saw by the way of

[34:27] the the mountain of the amorites as the

[34:29] Lord Our God commanded us and we came to

[34:32] Kadesh barnea and I said unto you you

[34:35] are come to the mountain of the amorites

[34:38] which the Lord Our God doth give unto us

[34:42] behold the Lord thy God hath set the

[34:45] land before thee go up and possess it as

[35:37] went into the land the promised land

[35:40] right and they go to the to the and get

[35:43] some of The Grapes of escal and they

[35:46] bring these grapes back on a staff

[35:48] carried between two guys and they come

[35:51] and they say hey look this is what's in

[35:53] the land for us right and they said if

[35:57] it's a good land yeah but they looked at

[36:01] the people and they said they are giants

[36:03] and we're

[36:05] Grasshoppers and they discouraged the

[36:07] children of Israel from going in to

[36:11] possess that which God had already

[36:14] promised to them right I keep reading if

[36:18] you would look down with me in verse

[36:24] 29 verse number 29 then I said unto you

[36:29] dread not neither be afraid of

[36:32] them we're always afraid of something

[36:34] that God's already gotten the victory

[36:44] what do they do dread not neither be

[36:47] afraid of them the Lord your God which

[36:50] goeth where before you he shall fight

[36:53] for you according to all that he did for

[36:58] how quickly they forgot the 10

[37:02] plagues it still always amazes me when

[37:05] the plague of the

[37:07] frogs and and the Pharaoh says okay I'll

[37:10] let you go and intreat the Lord for me

[37:12] and Abra or or Moses says uh I'll

[37:15] entreat the Lord for you when do you

[37:17] want the frogs to be gone and Pharaoh

[37:19] says tomorrow right as that still cracks

[37:22] me up he wanted one more night with the

[37:24] frogs right yeah but but but wait a

[37:27] minute how quickly did the children of

[37:29] Israel forget the 10 plagues how quickly

[37:32] did they forget the the Red Sea The

[37:35] Parting of the Red Sea where God Moses

[37:38] Stood Still and yet God said don't stand

[37:41] still go forward right keep going

[41:56] things has God promised promise me or

[47:23] development may I say this I didn't work

[47:25] for Caterpillar I worked for the Lord

[47:28] caterpillar you all right God has a

[47:31] purpose for you you say all I do is go

[47:34] to work at XYZ company tomorrow that's

[47:36] God's purpose for you if that's God's

[47:39] purpose you're working for the Lord

[47:41] there you know why I was to be salt and

[47:44] light on the job site it

[47:47] purpose man people people can mock you

[47:51] and make fun of you but those same

[47:53] people when their wife gets cancer you

[47:54] know what they do they come to you in

[47:56] secret

[47:58] and they go hey I know you're a

[47:59] Christian I know you pray would you pray

[48:01] for my wife we just found out she has

[48:04] cancer lived it too many times folks but

[48:08] you understand why that is because God's

[48:10] purpose was for me to be salt and life

[48:13] and God has given a purpose for every

[48:15] single person here under the sound of my

[48:18] voice every single person on planet

[48:20] Earth God has a purpose and yet we won't

[48:23] possess the purpose that God has for us

[48:26] w we think that somehow or another our

[48:28] wisdom is better than God's

[48:31] wisdom now now now look at you look at

[48:34] me and don't don't get mad I'm from

[48:36] Georgia I'm not that

[48:37] smart but then again I'm looking at a

[48:40] whole lot of people you're not that

[48:41] smart

[48:42] either so let's just go ahead and decide

[48:45] and realize God's smarter than all of us

[48:48] and his way is

[48:49] best so let's just trust his way even if

[48:53] there's times we're like oh it's a fight

[48:55] it's a struggle yes is because our sin

[48:57] nature right you want Jesus said my yoke

[49:03] easy my burden's light right you know

[49:07] why we fight with it it's because we're

[49:09] fighting with our will yeah instead of

[49:11] his will right hey by the way Jesus gave

[49:14] us the example in the Garden of

[49:16] Gethsemane it's going to be a fight it's

[49:18] going to be a struggle remember in the

[49:20] Garden of Gethsemane he prayed as it

[49:22] were great drops of blood right and you

[49:24] know what he said if it be possible you

[49:27] know why cuz humanly it was going to be

[49:29] a struggle you understand Jesus is 100%

[49:32] God but he's also 100% man so as man in

[49:37] the garden he didn't want to go to the

[49:39] cross it was a struggle great great

[49:42] drops of blood he was struggling through

[49:45] that and he says if it be possible let

[49:48] this cup pass well wait a minute he

[49:51] gives us the example nevertheless not my

[49:54] will but thy will be done amen I know

[49:57] this is going to be a struggle for me

[49:59] and I know I'm not going to enjoy it the

[50:01] Lord said but I'm going to surrender to

[50:04] your purpose and to your will and God

[50:07] has a purpose and God has a will but

[50:09] possessing God's purpose for your life

[50:14] greatest blessings that God will have

[50:17] for every single one of

[50:19] us you know kind be honest with you I

[50:21] wanted to stay working at caterpillar

[50:23] make a lot of money give a lot of money

[50:25] to missions and I realized I get to

[50:27] travel a little bit through caterpillar

[50:30] I mean I used to do the uh uh cylinder

[50:33] head development uh and uh we used to I

[50:36] used to do the cylinder heads for the

[50:38] European and Australian racing team and

[50:41] they were already already talking about

[50:44] at some point in time me getting the

[50:45] opportunity to go to Europe or Australia

[50:48] you know to be there in the pits you

[50:49] know for the team and you know talk with

[50:52] the the crew chief and all that and I

[50:54] thought man that'd be great can I tell

[50:56] you I've gotten to go to far more places

[50:59] by surrendering my will and trusting the

[51:03] Lord than I would have if I stayed at

[51:05] caterpillar yeah now I don't remind my

[51:08] wife I would have retired in

[51:11] February right now we I tell her every

[51:14] time every time we have to go get new

[51:17] tires I'm

[51:20] retiring amen but but what has God given

[51:24] that we've yet to possess the blessings

[51:26] in this life the purpose that he has may

[51:28] I say number three the time that we have

[51:31] right yeah the time that we have do you

[51:33] know God has given each of us here

[51:36] time you have the same 24 hours in a day

[51:39] that I do everybody else God is given us

[51:43] the breath of

[51:45] life right the question is is what are

[51:48] you going to do with your

[51:50] time what are you GNA do with your time

[51:53] you can spend your time however you want

[51:54] to but you only spend it once that's

[51:56] right yeah right and and most people

[52:00] listen to me don't get mad at me most

[52:02] people don't live by

[52:04] schedule therefore time possesses you

[52:07] you don't possess

[52:09] time right now now listen again time's

[52:13] one thing you spend it however you want

[52:15] to but can I encourage you God's giv you

[52:19] time but you've yet to possess

[52:22] it decide you're going to possess your

[52:24] time you're going to schedule your time

[52:27] you're going to use your time for God's

[52:29] purpose and what God wants to accomplish

[52:34] rest we got to eat I get all of that but

[52:37] we got all these time-saving devices in

[52:39] our generation yet everybody says I just

[52:41] don't have time

[52:43] preacher I don't have time to go on

[52:45] visitation I don't have time to teach

[52:47] Sunday

[52:49] school by the way if you teach Sunday

[52:51] school you got time to study your Le

[52:54] study your lesson before Saturday night

[53:05] God's given us the time we just don't

[53:06] possess it we allow the time to possess

[55:39] those model kitchens you you know every

[55:42] time we we I say every time but when we

[55:44] were younger my wife used to look and

[55:46] she go oh if we build a house I'd like

[55:48] to have this and she'd see another

[55:49] kitchen I kind of like that kitchen you

[55:51] know what I got started doing I said

[55:52] Lord she's got a mansion so give her

[55:54] about a dozen kitchens in her mansion

[55:58] and Miss Hall's going to be helping to

[56:00] cook for the marriage supper of the

[56:02] lamb and it'll probably be potato salad

[56:05] hallelujah amen and I say that our

[56:08] church they just asked her we weren't

[56:10] even there yesterday for the

[56:12] international supper but they asked they

[56:14] said would you make potato salad for the

[56:15] international supper before you leave

[56:18] town I thought well glory to God y'all

[56:21] enjoy it amen but but you know I'm going

[56:25] to have to wait until I get to heaven to

[56:26] possess that Mansion yeah but God's

[56:29] already given it to me there's going to

[56:33] rewards you know what we're supposed to

[67:02] homegoing of her husband Joe and having

[67:05] those Services just a few weeks ago but

[67:07] also as she's battling cancer going

[67:10] through cancer treatment so pray for her

[67:13] and can let her know you're praying for

[67:15] us so I'd encourage you to do that today

[67:17] but we're thankful that you're here

[67:18] choir 5 o'clock tonight for choir

[67:20] practice and again tonight we'll be

[67:22] talking about best missions brother the

[67:24] hall be preaching and just uh just a

[67:27] reminder if you ever come through the

[67:29] foury year and you see that brown box

[67:31] that's out there there's two plaques

[67:33] above that best has a a heart's desire

[67:36] to encourage churches that give and so

[67:39] we have received plaques from just

[67:41] giving to the Lord and giving to that

[67:44] Ministry but that change box is there

[67:46] every

[67:47] week you know all of us have that place

[67:49] at our house where we dump our

[67:52] change we put one in the church house

[67:54] everything that goes in that box we

[67:56] count up and we send the best throughout

[67:57] the year and so if you just bring your

[68:00] change in your pocket to church on your

[68:02] way to Sunday school just drop it in

[68:04] there and it'll change your life that

[68:06] penny that quarter those

[68:10] $3 those

[68:12] $8 what a difference you're making a

[68:15] life for

[68:17] somebody there there are places on this

[68:20] map here that don't have one of these

[68:25] uh I I've got the one you loan to me

[69:03] God can you imagine living in a country

[69:05] where you couldn't have heard from

[69:07] Deuteronomy chapter 1

[69:08] today do you think that's God's

[69:11] plan I think God wants everyone on Earth

[69:15] to have the good news of the

[69:16] gospel and a copy of the word of God in

[69:19] their own language so encourage you come

[69:22] back tonight 6 o'clock and be in prayer

[69:24] for your faith promise

[69:25] what God would have you to do we're

[69:27] going to collect those at the end of the

[69:28] faith promise conference on Wednesday so

[69:30] be praying this week God what would you

[69:32] have me to do and then pray next week

[69:34] God what would you have me to do then

[69:37] commit to God say God by faith I'm

[69:40] depending on you to give this amount so

[69:45] I encourage you to do that if you didn't

[69:46] get a faith promise commitment card

[69:47] we've got some available in the four

[69:49] year for you and we'll have those for
