[0:07] Elena is on the move tonight and packing
[0:10] 55 mile an hour punching Key West is
[0:12] getting the worst of it while Dade and
[0:14] Broward are feeling Only The Fringe
[0:15] effects of the storm we will have
[0:17] complete Nightside coverage but first
[0:18] let's get the storm's latest location
[0:20] from New Center 7's Don Franklin live at
[0:22] the National Hurricane Center Don okay
[0:25] fellas we're at the National Hurricane
[0:26] Center at the nine o'clock position on
[0:29] our tropical storm Elena it has reformed
[0:32] in the center of it now is at
[0:35] um 23.2 North or was it nine o'clock
[0:38] 82.0 West that puts it about 95 miles
[0:41] south of Key West the folks here at the
[0:43] National Hurricane Center have been very
[0:45] very busy tracking it trying to figure
[0:46] out where it's going to go and Bob
[0:48] Sheets the hurricane forecaster is here
[0:50] with us Bob what do you see in the
[0:51] future for this storm well it's going to
[0:53] move out over the gulf and it's very
[0:55] favorable for strengthening so we expect
[0:56] it to strengthen to a hurricane sometime
[0:58] tomorrow
[0:59] now if it does move into the Gulf as
[1:01] it's forecast to do and it does wind up
[1:03] and wind up into a hurricane that
[1:06] basically will clear the Miami area from
[1:08] any danger right yes we've gotten about
[1:10] what we're going to get the Gusty winds
[1:11] and the showers here and the same thing
[1:13] in the in the Florida Keys the main
[1:14] threat now is the strengthening process
[1:17] out into the Gulf and then probably the
[1:19] North Eastern Gulf Coast now noti
