[0:04] today I hope you're having a great day

[0:06] today and we've got a lot of exciting

[0:09] things going on here at our church and

[0:11] we look forward to getting to see all

[0:13] your smiling faces again back here at

[0:15] church really soon but this morning

[0:18] we're gonna start a series of lessons

[0:22] and I want you to pay very very close

[0:24] attention to those lessons all right

[0:27] it's about an exciting story about three

[0:31] trees can you count to three one what

[0:36] comes next

[0:37] oh yeah two what comes after two oh yeah

[0:43] three three comes after that so we're

[0:46] gonna talk about three trees this

[0:48] morning and we're gonna have it broke up

[0:51] so you can learn a lot of exciting

[0:53] things but boys and girls one day up on

[0:56] the mountain behind me there grew three

[0:59] trees and one day they started talking

[1:04] to one another did you know that trees

[1:06] could talk I didn't know that trees

[1:08] could talk but evidently these three

[1:11] trees they could talk to one another so

[1:13] they begin to have a conversation and

[1:15] they had grown up next to each other

[1:18] from when they were little bitty trees

[1:21] but now they had gotten to the teen

[1:24] trees and they thought that they were

[1:26] really super cool because they were teen

[1:29] trees now but they weren't super cool

[1:32] they were just normal teenage trees but

[1:36] as they got older they begin to talk

[1:38] about what they wanted to be when they

[1:41] fully grew up as a tree and one tree

[1:45] looked to the other tree it said I know

[1:47] what I want to be I want to be a great

[1:51] treasure chest I want to be a great

[1:55] treasure chest and hold all the great

[1:57] riches of this world one day they'll

[2:01] come and I'll become a great treasure

[2:03] chest and they'll have gold and diamonds

[2:07] and rubies inside and I'll be one of the

[2:11] most valuable things in all the world

[2:14] the tree next to him said uh-uh I've got

[2:18] a better plan one day I'm gonna grow up

[2:22] and I'm gonna be a great big ship I'm

[2:27] gonna be a great big shipping ship and

[2:30] that little ship things all over the

[2:31] world with me and I'll hold precious

[2:34] cargo like kings and queens and all of

[2:38] those things I'll grow up and I'll be

[2:40] one of the most fabulous ships in all

[2:43] the world the third tree looked at them

[2:46] and said boys you're so foolish so

[2:48] foolish he said I want to stay right

[2:51] here

[2:52] right here on the hill and I want to

[2:55] grow up to be a big tall tree so that

[3:00] everyone will come and look at me and

[3:03] say wow what a tree and just be

[3:08] astonished at how beautiful I am how

[3:11] strong I am how tall I am and everyone

[3:15] will say wow look at that tree well a

[3:19] few days later something happened the

[3:23] log cutters came in and sure enough down

[3:27] went tree number one they thought woohoo

[3:30] I'm off to become my treasure chest and

[3:33] boom down went tree number two tree

[3:37] number three was looking at the other

[3:38] two thinking I'm going to be alright

[3:40] they're going to leave me alone but sure

[3:42] enough

[3:43] chop chop down came tree number three

[3:46] and he was so sad they all took off and

[3:50] they went to the logging mill well tree

[3:53] number one he got chopped up into boards

[3:57] and got sent off to a farmer's house

[3:59] tree number two he got chopped up into

[4:02] boards and he got sent down to the

[4:04] shipping yard and tree number three he

[4:07] got chopped up into boards and he got

[4:10] sent to the carpenter's shop well the

[4:13] first tree as he got to the farmers

[4:16] house he thought to himself I know I

[4:19] know I'll be made into something great

[4:22] and the farmer took pieces of him and

[4:24] made him into a feeding trough and put

[4:28] him in the barn and then put hay inside

[4:33] him and food and the animals came up and

[4:36] put their nasty face down inside that

[4:39] trough I don't know ate the food can you

[4:43] make that sound can you make a lot won't

[4:46] sound let's hear you I didn't hear you

[4:50] you can do that really good and loud

[4:52] right now let me hear your eating sounds

[4:55] whoa some of you are really good that

[4:59] was pretty good but the tree the tree

[5:02] number one he was sad because he was in

[5:05] the farmers barn and animals were eating

[5:09] food out of him

[5:10] tree number two as we told you do you

[5:13] remember where he went

[5:14] do you remember yeah he went down to the

[5:17] shipping yard that's right and at the

[5:20] shipping yard they took him and they

[5:23] made him into a little fishing boat and

[5:26] a fisherman came and picked him up and

[5:29] took him out to sea and put nasty fishy

[5:33] stinky Nets inside that boat and they

[5:38] caught fish and drugged the fish in and

[5:41] the fish juices got all over the inside

[5:44] of that boat all over the inside of

[5:47] those trees and he said

[5:50] I don't like this smell

[5:53] ooh I don't like this and he was sad

[5:57] because he was just a little shipping

[6:01] boat little fishing boat for people to

[6:04] fish in and tree number three he went to

[6:08] the carpenter's place and he sat in the

[6:10] corner along the wall but something

[6:14] happened very exciting in their life and

[6:18] I guess what I want to tell you what

[6:22] happened it was so exciting in the life

[6:25] of those three trees but you're gonna

[6:27] have to come back tomorrow to find out

[6:30] so you tune in tomorrow and you find out

[6:33] the rest of the story of what happened

[6:36] to the three trees
