[0:03] Tonight, George W. Bush makes his vice
[0:06] presidential pick. And sources say it's
[0:09] Dick Cheney, his father's former defense
[0:11] secretary. With us from Austin, Texas,
[0:14] the Bush campaign's communications
[0:16] director, Karen Hughes. And then joining
[0:18] me in Washington, Bob Woodward,
[0:20] assistant managing editor of the
[0:22] Washington Post, Republican strategist
[0:24] Ed Rollins. He's worked with Cheney
[0:26] politically and knows him personally.
[0:28] Tucker Carlson, staff writer of the
[0:30] Weekly Standard, contributor to Talk
[0:32] Magazine. In New York, CNN senior
[0:35] analyst Jeff Greenfield. And in Atlanta,
[0:38] Bishop TD Jake Jakes, founder and pastor
[0:40] of Potter's House in Dallas. They're all
[0:43] next on Larry King Live.

[1:02] going to be seeing a lot of her over the
[1:03] years as she'll be a fixture here in
[1:06] Washington. Uh Karen, was the was the

[1:11] reporting that it's Cheney.
[1:13] >> Well, the cat was certainly not led out
[1:15] of the bag by the one person who counts,
[1:17] and that's Governor Bush, Larry. Um the
[1:19] governor spent the weekend, as you know,
[1:20] at his ranch near Crawford thinking
[1:22] through this this very important
[1:24] decision. He told me tonight that he has
[1:27] in fact made a final decision, but he
[1:28] has not told anyone else about that
[1:30] decision. And as much as I'd like to
[1:32] announce it here on your show, Larry,
[1:34] and as much as I know you'd like me to
