[0:42] gunman. Police say this man opened fire
[0:44] early this morning outside a northeast
[0:45] Salem apartment complex. KPTV's
[0:47] Stephanie Kovich talked with people who
[0:49] lived there and she now joins us live
[0:51] with more. Steph.

[0:55] 47year-old David Man. Police say he
[0:58] fired a gun at another man and then fled
[1:00] the scene on foot this morning. Tonight,
[1:02] he is still on the run from police.
[1:07] >> We never had nothing like this before.
[1:08] >> The Pines apartment complex in Northeast
[1:10] Salem is quiet tonight, but there was
[1:13] quite a commotion here this morning.
[1:14] >> I heard pop, looked back out, and the
[1:17] guy that got shots laying on the ground.
[1:18] >> Cops say a bullet hit the victim in his
[1:21] shoulder. He's been treated and is out
[1:23] of the hospital tonight. Some witnesses
[1:25] say the gunman made a violent threat
[1:28] before he ran from the s
