[0:00] The UN condemned the invasion as quote a

[0:02] racist imperialist attack. A second

[0:06] American has died in combat in Iraq. The

[0:09] Marine was part of the first Marine

[0:11] Expeditionary Force. He received his

[0:13] wounds during battle with Iraqi forces

[0:16] near the port of Unaser. Another US

[0:18] Marine was killed earlier in a fight at

[0:21] an oil field in southern Iraq. There is

[0:24] a wave of steel barreling toward Baghdad

[0:27] tonight. A 20 m long chain of coalition

[0:30] army tanks and vehicles is rumbling

[1:06] Now, complete coverage of the strike on

[1:08] Iraq continues with Lou Dos.

[1:12] [Music]

[1:18] Good evening. It's been an extraordinary

[1:20] day of military successes for the

[1:22] coalition in Iraq. Advances by coalition

[1:25] forces in the south and the north. Iraqi

[1:28] oil fields under the full control of

[1:30] coalition forces tonight. And Iraq today

[1:33] was shocked when the bombing began, just

[1:36] as the Pentagon promised.

[1:48] The shock was literally awesome. Whether

[1:50] that will be sufficient to convince the

[1:52] Iraqi leadership to surrender remains to

[1:55] be
