[0:16] manhunt for Christian Longo is finally
[0:18] over. Police believe the 27-year-old man
[0:21] killed his wife and three children on
[0:23] the Oregon coast in late December.
[0:24] Detectives discovered Longo on a Mexican
[0:26] beach over the weekend and tonight he
[0:28] sits in a jail in Houston, Texas. KPTV's
[0:31] David Wilson has been following the
[0:32] story from the beginning. He's a news
[0:34] control with details of Longo's arrest.

[0:36] >> with help from the Mexican police Sunday
[0:38] night, special agents from the Federal
[0:40] Bureau of Investigation discovered Longo
[0:42] camping on a beach 60 mi south of
[0:44] Cancun. Tonight, authorities credit
[0:46] intense international publicity for
[0:48] Longo's capture.
[0:51] After just three days on the FBI's 10
[0:53] most wanted list, Christian Longo finds
[0:56] himself in handcuffs on his way to a
[0:58] Houston jail.
[0:59] >> He voluntarily agreed to accompany the
[1:01] FBI agents uh on the flight from Cancun
[1:04] to Houston. Of course, at Houston, he
[1:06] was taken into custody, federal custody.
[1:08] >> Police suspect Longo stole a credit card
[1:10] and ID from Charles Malarkey at a
[1:12] Starbucks in Newport and then used the
[1:15] information to purchase an American
[1:16] Airlines ticket to Mexico. never laid
[1:19] eyes on this guy and I've never uh had
[1:23] any association with him at all and it
[1:26] it appears to be just a matter of him
[1:29] going through uh you know I understand
