[0:00] Hello, I'm Bob Schaefer and welcome to
[0:02] the CBS Evening News online edition.
[0:04] Just ahead, the path of Rita. John
[0:07] Roberts has details of hurricane
[0:09] preparations all along the Texas Gulf
[0:12] Coast. Also, some of New Orleans levies
[0:15] fail again, reflooding neighborhoods
[0:18] only recently dried out. Sharon Alons
[0:21] has that story. And a new movie by Tom
[0:23] Hanks takes viewers back to the moon.
[0:26] And for NASA, the timing couldn't be
[0:28] better. It's all starting now on the CBS
[0:31] Evening News online edition.

[0:52] Hurricane Katrina gave way again after
[0:55] heavy rains spawned by Rita drenched the
[0:58] city and reflooded areas that had just
[1:01] been pumped dry. The storm did weaken a
[1:04] little as it turned across the Gulf of
[1:05] Mexico, but it is still a category 3
[1:08] hurricane with winds of 125 m an hour.
[1:12] Hurricane warnings are up along much of
[1:15] the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast and
[1:17] is now most likely to hit land early
[1:20] tomorrow in the area marked in red. We
[1:23] have our CBS News hurricane team
[1:25] deployed throughout the region tonight.
[1:27] And we begin with John Roberts in Port
[1:30] Arthur, Texas. John,
