[0:01] Hey everyone. All right, so today I'm
[0:02] really excited to show you how to design
[0:04] and build a mobile fitness app from
[0:07] scratch.
[0:08] This is what we're going to build. A
[0:09] fitness app to track your personal
[0:11] workouts.
[0:12] And it used to be that you needed a
[0:13] whole product team with engineers,
[0:15] designers, and PMs to build a beautiful
[0:17] app like this.
[0:19] But I was able to build this after a
[0:20] full day of work just for a few hours
[0:22] last night.
[0:24] And let me show you exactly how I did
[0:25] it.
[0:26] Okay, first here's a tour of the app
[0:28] that I built.
[0:29] So, you can create new workouts. Let's
[0:31] say Peter's workout.
[0:34] And you can add exercises to it.
[0:37] So, let's say barbell back squat.
[0:39] And let's do three sets of eight reps.
[0:42] And let's also add a warm-up set.
[0:44] Confirm.
[0:45] What else should we add? Let's add
[0:47] barbell back rows.
[0:49] Same thing. And let's also add
[0:52] barbell bench press.
[0:55] Okay. Now, let's save the workout.
[0:58] And then, once you have a workout, you
[0:59] can click on it.
[1:01] And you can track your workout in real
[1:02] time. You can tap each thing to finish a
[1:06] warm-up exercise.
[1:07] Or if you did all eight reps, you can
[1:09] just tap it to complete it.
[1:11] There's even built-in rest periods.
[1:14] And once you track a workout, it will
[1:16] show up on your calendar here. You can
[1:18] click on the date to see all the
[1:21] workouts that you did. So, today we did
[1:23] Peter's workout.
[1:25] And there's also settings, so you can
[1:26] toggle between pound and kilograms. You
[1:29] can toggle the rest timer. Yeah, you can
[1:31] see here that this is a pretty complete
[1:32] app, right? And how did I do it?
[1:35] Basically, I built it i
