[0:00] I'm John Roberts, CBS News in New York.
[0:02] I'll see you again tomorrow evening.
[0:04] Thanks for joining us. Good night
[0:08] for news 24 hours a day in Salt Lake and
[0:10] 66 with cloudy skies in Las Vegas,
[0:13] Albuquerque at 71. We bring you the
[0:15] latest weather every hour, the top of
[0:17] the hour, 24 hours a day from the
[0:19] Channel 2 News weather center.
[0:24] On World News Tonight this Saturday, the
[0:26] latest refugees to flee Kosovo say they
[0:29] left behind a silent empty countryside.
[0:32] And for those who haven't fled,
[0:34] surveillance photos of mass graves give
[0:37] reason to fear the worst. FBI agents
[0:40] search the home of a Chinese American
[0:42] scientist under suspicion for leaking
[0:44] American nuclear technology. And in
[0:47] Daytona Beach, Florida, charges of
[0:49] racism stemming from a spring break
[0:51] tradition.
[0:52] [Music]
[0:58] From ABC,
[1:00] this is World News Tonight, Saturday.
[1:04] Good evening. I'm Aaron Brown. Tonight,
[1:05] chilling reports from inside Kosovo are
[1:08] raising new concerns about the fate of
[1:10] ethnic Albanians who have not made it to
[1:12] the refugee camps. Here is the latest
[1:15] tonight. Bad weather continues to hamper
[1:17] NATO's bombing raids over the weekend.
[1:19] Yugoslavia reopened its main border
[1:22] crossing with Albania overnight and
[1:24] refugees who crossed brought new reports
[1:26] of atrocities. And new satellite
[1:28] photographs may confirm refugee reports
[1:31] of mass killings. The refugees who
[1:33] crossed the border into Albania today
[1:35] give us for the first time a sense of
[1:38] how grim the situation is in Kosovo. It
[1:41] is a stunning story. Miles and miles of
[1:44] emptiness, a country without its people
