[0:15] I know uh prior to the storm and the eye
[0:18] of the storm hitting the coast you had
[0:20] told us that uh eight babies had been
[0:22] born any any more word a lot more they
[0:26] now have a total and but this is um it's
[0:29] hard to gain this number because other
[0:31] women went into labor uh spontaneously
[0:34] unrelated to the women who had come in
[0:36] just for shelter so there have been a
[0:38] total now of 28 births uh whether some
[0:41] of them was were caused by the
[0:42] barometric pressure drops Etc as that
[0:45] nurse explained we're we're not clear
[0:47] but uh it has been a baby boom here
[0:50] that's for sure and they've all fared
[0:52] well everything has gone well in that
[0:54] sense uh one more complication in the
[0:56] medical sense has been that uh a lot of
[0:59] elderly people were brought here prior
[1:01] to the storm sort of left here by
[1:04] nursing homes and places that could not
[1:06] handle them in shelters and the
[1:08] officials here at the hospital fear that
[1:10] if they have the need to bring in
[1:12] critically injured people into the
[1:14] trauma center that these elderly people
[1:16] may indeed burden the system and back up
[1:18] the system if they have to uh you know
[1:20] serve people who are more seriously
[1:22] injured but we don't know that yet and
[1:25] we haven't uh had to face a crisis like
[1:27] that yet okay Lanna thank you so much
