[0:04] From CBS News headquarters in New York,
[0:07] this is the CBS Evening News with Walter
[0:10] Cronkite. And in Washington, Eric
[0:13] Sevareid, Fred Graham, Lesley Stahl,
[0:16] Marvin Kalb in Jerusalem, Tom Fenton on
[0:19] the Syrian front, Richard C. Hottelet at
[0:21] the United Nations, Terry Drinkwater in
[0:24] Los Angeles, Bernard Kalb in Miami, and
[0:27] David Culhane in New York.
[0:30] Good evening. Special Watergate
[0:31] prosecutor Jaworski has gone directly to

[1:20] rights were at stake. And he

[1:23] Clair and threw him to the president the
[1:25] like of which has rarely been heard in
[1:27] an American court. There is no privilege
[1:29] in the president, none. The government
[1:31] has brought this l
