[0:02] this time of year in the Willamette

[0:03] Valley.

[0:08] definition.

[0:13] about her husband's affair. The other

[0:15] woman has a baby. Is it his child? Then

[0:18] >> I was in tears. breaking news on dancing

[0:20] star Melissa's cracked ribs. Will she be

[0:23] on the dance floor tonight? I'm Mark

[0:25] Steines [music] with the latest.

[0:27] Entertainment tonight with Tom Hanks. In

[0:29] Rome with Angels & Demons and Melissa's

[0:31] cracked rib with Miley Cyrus.

[0:35] What's the matter with that? In Rome

[0:37] with Angels & Demons and the Jonas

[0:39] Brothers.

[0:40] >> [laughter]

[0:41] >> It's time we got this right.

[0:43] Entertainment Tonight in Rome [music]

[0:45] with Tom Hanks at the Angels & Demons

[0:48] world premiere.

[0:49] >> HDTV

[0:51] Plus recent Jake just outside of Rome

[0:54] for a star's secret [music] I do's and

[0:57] how Tom saved the day when another

[0:59] wedding shut down the set. Oh my lord.

[1:03] Jessica Simpson's sexy new Vanity Fair

[1:05] photo shoot, her stunning

[1:07] transformation.

[1:08] >> I think there was something to prove.

[1:09] Then Be your best self. Oprah gets her

[1:13] diploma in tonight's ET time capsule.

[1:17] One of the Two and a Half Men here on

[1:19] our stage. Wow, I'm in over my head. And

[1:22] I'm here at the Colosseum. We two are

[1:24] Rome with Neil Patrick Harris. $10

[1:26] million

[1:27] can I have it? Now Angels [music] &

[1:30] Demons in Rome, Italy and Entertainment

[1:32] Tonight event. Here is Mary Hart.

[1:36] Good evening from Rome. The anticipation

[1:38] [music]

[1:38] is massive here as hundreds of

[1:40] journalists from around the globe

[1:42] collide for the world premiere of Angels

[1:44] & Demons. Now that is the Vatican

[1:46] [music] right behind me and we are on

[1:48] top of the Castel Sant'Angelo, an

[1:50] ancient fort that guarded the Pope. It

[1:52] was mayhem here as the international

[1:54] press watched us gather for our own cast

[1:56] photo with Tom Hanks, Ron Howard, Dan

[1:59] Brown, [music]

[1:59] and the stars of the movie. You are

[2:01] about to hear the funniest interview

[2:03] ever with Tom, but it doesn't end there

[2:05] [music] because we're on the red carpet

[2:07] for the gala premiere. This is [music]

[2:10] simply spectacular.

[2:13] Tom, a mob of screaming fans, and a

[2:16] historic setting as the much-anticipated

[2:18] film debuts in Rome. HDTV

[2:22] So, you're really big in like squeeze my

[2:24] hand.

[2:24] >> I am so high def you can see every

[2:26] unsightly pore and all the bad makeup

[2:28] that's covering my baggy eyes. Hanks

[2:30] with his co-stars, director Ron Howard,

[2:32] and I was in the middle of it all. Tom

[2:34] Hanks isn't the only big news story out

[2:37] of Italy tonight. Plus, the Swiss

[2:38] Guards, there was quite the celebrity

[2:40] wedding in the small town of Brindisi

[2:42] just a couple of hours outside of Rome.

[2:44] In fact, not too far from where I'm

[2:46] standing right now.

[2:48] With a crown of ivy and flowers in her

[2:50] hair, Maggie Gyllenhaal [music] said I

[2:52] do to Peter Sarsgaard on Saturday.

[2:54] Exchanging a kiss, the two tied the knot

[2:57] inside this small chapel. Maggie's

[2:59] brother Jake and his girlfriend Reese

[3:01] Witherspoon were among the reported 40

[3:03] guests. The two were spotted [music]

[3:04] riding bikes and enjoying their time

[3:06] together in Rome.

[3:08] Of course, the wedding was [music] a big

[3:10] event, but an even bigger TV event, my

[3:13] exclusive sit-down with Tom. Hello

[3:15] mayor. Hi Tom.

[3:17] >> Hi them gams, boys. Hi them gams.

[3:20] We pulled out all the stops to create

[3:22] this Entertainment Tonight event, even

[3:24] using this giant crane to load our gear

[3:27] to the top of the castle. But, it seems

[3:29] we had a few demons of our own haunting

[3:32] our set. Stop it. Stop it. It's insane.

[3:34] It's not crazy. What did I do? A guy is

[3:37] moving a camera. A light in the

[3:39] background was interfering with Tom's

[3:40] shot. It's the wings of an angel.

[3:44] God in our way. I hope you show a little

[3:46] bit of the craziness. Just keep it

[3:48] going. This is all part of the flavor.

[3:50] It is. It's the It's the of Italy. Will

[3:52] you just get a shot of the panic

[3:55] ET staff over here? They're all They're

[3:57] all going nuts. It's all going to work

[4:00] out okay. It's all for you. Once that

[4:02] was settled, it was Tom who turned into

[4:04] a little devil. Entertainment Tonight in

[4:06] Rome with Tom Hanks.

[4:08] >> And Angels & DEMONS WITH MILEY CYRUS.

[4:11] >> [laughter]

[4:13] >> WHAT? WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH THAT?

[4:14] IN Rome with Angels & Demons and the

[4:17] Jonas Brothers.

[4:19] >> [laughter]

[4:20] >> Are we rolling? We don't know. Just keep

[4:22] it going. This is all part of the

[4:23] flavor. It is. It's the flavor of Italy

[4:26] and we're rolling and it's sensational.

[4:29] Good. I'm glad you're happy.

[4:30] >> We're back. We're back in Rome with Mary

[4:32] Hart and Tom Hanks in front of the

[4:33] Vatican for Angels & Demons. The

[4:35] Illuminati were infiltrators. Tom is

[4:38] back as Robert Langdon now in Rome

[4:40] trying to uncover an ancient cult, save

[4:43] the lives of four cardinals, and save

[4:45] Vatican City from a blast that could

[4:47] level it. Working in the historic city

[4:49] had its own challenges. Some things do

[4:51] get lost in translation.

[4:52] >> Not in the hands. The hands are a

[4:54] universal Oh Oh jeez, look at that.

[4:57] Don't worry about it. Don't worry about

[4:58] Don't shoot that. The hands are a

[5:00] universal language because this means

[5:02] the same thing and that means the same

[5:04] thing and that means the same thing and

[5:05] this means the same thing. Oh, this

[5:07] means the same thing. It's all the It

[5:09] all It's the It all We're all We all

[5:10] speak the same language.

[5:11] >> Angels & Demons opens May 15th. Love

[5:14] talking to you, as always. And wait,

[5:16] thank you for doing this because I love

[5:18] being in Rome. See Eternal City and Mary

[5:21] Hart is the Eternal Hostess.

[5:25] Oh, that was Thank you. Oh, when I When

[5:28] I say nice things about her, out comes

[5:31] the applause.

[5:33] And coming up, [music] is the Vatican

[5:34] City you see in the movie the Vatican

[5:37] City you see behind me. I'll tell you

[5:39] what's real in minutes. All right,

[5:41] looking forward to that, Mary. And I

[5:43] have movie news right here. Hugh Jackman

[5:46] sliced the competition to ribbons this

[5:48] weekend with X-Men Origins: Wolverine

[5:50] taking in more than $87 million.

[5:53] Hugh Jackman and ET, number one for a

[5:55] reason.

[5:57] Why is Entertainment Tonight number one?

[5:59] I'm just saying.

[6:00] >> [music]

[6:01] >> Because we've got another Meryl Streep

[6:03] exclusive. A rare look at Meryl on

[6:06] [music] the set.

[6:08] Forgive me. With Alec Baldwin.

[6:10] >> Are we rolling? And Steve Martin.

[6:12] >> I kissed Meryl Streep 182 times. I don't

[6:15] have to worry cuz Meryl and I have a

[6:20] hardcore

[6:22] her head right through the headboard.

[6:23] [laughter]

[6:25] See it all on Thursday.

[6:28] Entertainment Tonight, number one for a

[6:30] reason.

[6:31] >> Well, it certainly was a glamorous night

[6:33] here on the red carpet in Rome for the

[6:35] world premiere of Angels & Demons. But

[6:37] [music] right now, Thea Andrews is in

[6:39] New York City where glamour is about to

[6:41] be front [music] and center at the

[6:42] biggest fashion party of the year. Thea?

[6:45] Hi, Mary. What a scene there. And we are

[6:48] ready here at the Metropolitan Museum

[6:49] for New York's biggest, most glamorous

[6:52] party of the year. And as you can see,

[6:53] it's raining here. So they have a tent

[6:55] up behind me, but rain or shine, the

[6:57] fashions on that red carpet will rival

[7:00] the Oscars.

[7:03] Oh, does that A-list go on of stars and

[7:06] designers? We've seen Julia in Armani,

[7:08] J.Lo in Marchesa, Scarlett in Dolce &

[7:11] Gabbana, Cameron in John Galliano. But

[7:13] whose frocks will turn heads at

[7:15] tonight's gala? I want to wow those

[7:17] girls out of that red carpet.

[7:19] >> Well, you're in red. Iman fell in love

[7:21] with two Donna Karan gowns, but admits

[7:23] getting ready isn't as easy as it looks.

[7:25] >> It takes a [music] village to put a

[7:26] model together.

[7:28] I'm coming to get ready for the ball.

[7:30] Sexy songstress Ciara, whose album

[7:32] Fantasy Ride drops tomorrow, is into

[7:35] Emilio Pucci. Really accentuates the

[7:37] curves. The star-studded guest list is

[7:39] kept secret to the very last minute, but

[7:41] I am hearing that Madonna and Halle

[7:44] Berry will show. Madonna may favor Louis

[7:47] Vuitton, while Halle likes both Roberto

[7:49] Cavalli [music] and Versace.

[7:51] Tacoon, a favorite of the First Lady, is

[7:53] dressing Estee Lauder's Hillary Rhoda

[7:54] tonight. He's one of the best American

[7:57] designers. His style is so classic and

[7:59] has a little bit of edge. We're getting

[8:00] sequins in from Switzerland. [music]

[8:02] We're getting tulle in from France.

[8:04] Celeb stylist Mary Alice Stevenson

[8:06] brought the model and the designer

[8:07] together. Oh my gosh, I think she's

[8:09] ready to go.

[8:10] Tonight's Metropolitan Museum Costume

[8:12] Institute Gala attendees also get a

[8:14] sneak peek at this Model as Muse

[8:16] exhibit, which opens to the public

[8:18] Wednesday through August 9th. [music]

[8:20] As for supermodel Beverly Johnson, she's

[8:23] being fitted by fashion icon Kenneth

[8:24] Cole himself. It's all very, very

[8:27] exciting.

[8:28] Mary, I am here at the Metropolitan

[8:30] Museum inside the exhibit, where

[8:32] tonight's [music] A-list guests will

[8:33] pass through sipping champagne, munching

[8:36] hors d'oeuvres, and taking in these

[8:38] fabulous designs behind [music] me. And

[8:39] I'm going to have all the excitement and

[8:41] the gossip for you tomorrow. I cannot

[8:43] wait, Mary. Thanks, Thea. I can't wait

[8:46] to see what everyone's wearing. But you

[8:47] guys at home will want to wait for

[8:49] what's coming up. How I Met Your Mother

[8:51] star [music] Neil Patrick Harris is

[8:53] taking a sightseeing right here in Rome.

[8:56] It's Neil's unique take on the Eternal

[8:58] City. I'm up here at the old forum.

[9:01] Uh

[9:02] if I'm not mistaken, this is where the

[9:03] Lakers used to play. Then, the real-life

[9:05] [music] wedding that shut down the

[9:07] Angels & Demons set. They wound up

[9:09] getting red wedding pictures with Tom

[9:10] Hanks.

[9:14] A huge explosion rocks CSI: Miami. Plus,

[9:17] our exclusive with Dancing's Melissa.

[9:19] Will she dance tonight? And Jessica

[9:22] Simpson's new Vanity Fair

[9:24] transformation. That's coming up as ET's

[9:28] Angels & Demons event from Rome

[9:30] continues.

[9:35] Hi, I'm John Pryor, and you're [music]

[9:36] watching Entertainment Tonight high

[9:37] definition. That means you can see every

[9:39] little thing.

[9:42] They are anonymous, but they are not

[9:44] nameless. In their lives, they were

[9:46] somebody. Tonight after CSI Miami, how

[9:49] you can help [music] give these

[9:50] unidentified dead a resting place with

[9:52] their name on it. Join Local 6 tonight

[9:55] at 11.

[9:56] Hi, Mike Satcher with Interstate

[9:58] Roofing. Although it's signature

[10:00] projects like Timberline Lodge,

[10:02] Montgomery Park, and our newest, The

[10:04] Allison [music] Inn & Spa that we're

[10:08] the integrity of your home [music] is

[10:23] gutters. Interstate, your exterior

[10:29] Today, my local Oil Can Henry's is doing

[10:32] a lot more than changing [music] oil.

[10:36] replacing wiper blades, or installing a

[10:38] serpentine belt, our trained technicians

[10:41] give you the confidence [music] that

[10:59] Nissan. Look closer. It's the Nissan

[11:50] of psoriasis treatment is a phone call

[11:52] away. 503-534-2622.

[11:56] Call today.

[11:59] Angels and Demons in Rome, an

[12:01] Entertainment Tonight event.

[12:04] Once again, [music] from Italy, here is

[12:07] Mary Hart. He is the wisecracking,

[12:10] snarky skirt-chaser Barney ruling the

[12:12] CBS airwaves on Monday nights. But

[12:15] tonight in Rome, Neil Patrick Harris is

[12:17] playing [music] tourist just for us.

[12:20] So, I'm here at the Colosseum in the

[12:22] heart of Rome. This place is

[12:23] unbelievable. Unreal. Look at this. Neil

[12:26] was living la dolce vita. We've been

[12:29] hiking around. Now, we're up here at the

[12:31] old forum.

[12:33] Uh if I'm not mistaken, this is where

[12:34] the Lakers used to play. The How I Met

[12:36] Your Mother star's Roman holiday was a

[12:38] working one, shooting the cover of CBS

[12:40] Watch magazine out this summer. [music]

[12:42] And I hear this is super valuable. I

[12:44] heard 10 10 million dollars. Yep. Can I

[12:47] have it? Rome, Italy. It's fantastic.

[12:49] [music]

[12:50] Nice work, Neil. And while we're here

[12:52] soaking up the Eternal City, Mark is

[12:55] back in Studio [music] 4 with one of the

[12:57] Two and a Half Men that follow Neil on

[12:59] CBS, Mr. Jon Cryer. Hey, guys.

[13:03] >> [music]

[13:03] >> Well, Mary,

[13:04] love this couch.

[13:06] Nice leather. I I I hope you're not

[13:07] overdoing the pasta. All right, now stop

[13:09] it. Enough with that. We're so glad to

[13:10] have you here. A very special preview of

[13:12] tonight's Two and a Half Men action.

[13:14] That's because Jon's also the director.

[13:17] After the first day, I was like, "Wow,

[13:19] I'm in over my head."

[13:21] Is it different part of brain that's at

[13:22] work than when you're in front of the

[13:23] camera?

[13:24] >> It's a totally different skill. When

[13:25] you're an actor, you're just acting,

[13:26] you're just in the moment, and it can be

[13:27] funny and loose and whatever [music] it

[13:29] is. When you're a director, you're like,

[13:30] "Oh, no, if you're standing there,

[13:32] everything's ruined."

[13:34] You [laughter] know. In tonight's

[13:35] episode on CBS, Charlie's fiance moves

[13:37] in, and Charlie's not happy.

[13:41] Directing Charlie. [music]

[13:42] Well, first of all,

[13:44] Charlie's an incredible pro. When we

[13:45] started

[13:47] that particular episode, his [music]

[13:49] babies had just been born. If you

[13:51] recall, Max stayed in the hospital for a

[13:53] long time, and that was just brutal for

[13:55] Charlie [music] to go through. The guy

[13:56] would come in every day having not slept

[13:59] cuz he would sleep try to sleep at the

[14:00] hospital, you know, he'd come in just

[14:02] white as a sheet, you know, [music] and

[14:04] and every day he'd hit his marks, he'd

[14:06] hit the laughs, he you know, he was he

[14:09] was just incredible. [music] I have such

[14:10] admiration for the guy. And cut. Well,

[14:13] we'd love having you here [music]

[14:14] joining us. Why don't you do this for

[14:15] me? Send it back to Mary and Romi, will

[14:17] you? Yes, take it away, Mary, or however

[14:19] they say that in Italian. Ciao. Ciao.

[14:22] Arrivederci, John, and keep watching

[14:24] because I have something you'll love.

[14:26] The wedding that stopped the shooting of

[14:28] [music] Angels & Demons, plus how they

[14:30] rebuilt the Sistine Chapel to scale

[14:33] 6,000 mi from here back in Los Angeles.

[14:35] [music]

[14:36] The Vatican in Hollywood, the set you

[14:38] have to see to believe. Plus, Tom Hanks

[14:41] in a Speedo. Nothing's more sexy than

[14:43] that.

[14:45] Yeah, boy.

[14:46] Then, Elizabeth Edwards opens up to

[14:48] Oprah about her husband John's affair.

[14:51] Jessica Simpson, the sexy new shots, her

[14:54] Vanity Fair transformation. Exclusive,

[14:57] inside Melissa's dancing rehearsal. Can

[15:00] she handle the pain? Plus, a CSI Miami

[15:03] explosion.

[15:05] That's next as ET's Angels & Demons

[15:08] event from Rome rolls on.

[15:13] >> [music]

[15:15] >> In tonight's ET Time Capsule. Oprah

[15:18] Winfrey's list of achievements is long

[15:20] and impressive.

[15:24] Lady O earns her college diploma from

[15:26] Tennessee [music] State University. They

[15:28] said I was never going to amount to

[15:29] anything without the degree. I can

[15:30] hardly wait to see what's going to

[15:31] happen now, now that I've got it. Was

[15:34] the year 1985, 87, or 89? The answer in

[15:38] seconds.

[15:51] use non-drowsy Claritin. Claritin

[15:52] relieves my worst symptoms, and it's

[15:54] proven to keep me as alert and focused

[15:56] as someone without allergies.

[15:57] >> [music]

[15:57] >> I'm Carl Edwards, and I only live

[15:59] Claritin clear.

[16:05] Sorry, miss.

[16:08] The girl can't help it. It's a classic.

[16:12] Classic. That's the tastiest crunch I've

[16:14] ever heard.

[16:20] For all the allergies [music] fixed,

[16:24] all the games attended,

[16:29] >> [music]

[16:29] >> and all the milestones mom was there

[16:31] for, it's time to give her a little

[16:33] something [music] in return with candy,

[16:36] perfume, and Hallmark cards. Thanks,

[16:38] mom. Walgreens is your one-stop this

[16:41] Mother's Day for the one who matters

[16:43] most.

[16:46] A prom night nightmare. How parents say

[16:49] a limo driver destroyed their trust.

[16:53] local pet. The neighborhood where it all

[16:55] happened tonight [music] on Coin Local 6

[17:03] Love burgers, but hate the grease? Then

[17:06] you'll love Arby's new Bacon Cheddar

[18:01] Once there was a woman whose afternoon

[18:03] plans got cancelled. [music] Perfect.

[18:05] >> She could relax at home with a snack.

[18:08] Instead of her usual cheddar,

[18:10] she swirled smooth Philly on crackers

[18:16] >> and savored each bite. Feeling

[18:18] refreshed, she read up on the latest

[18:24] section. Amazing what the right snack

[18:26] can do for your day.

[18:45] Then for [music] others,

[18:46] it's the joy of making the outdoors part

[18:49] of the way you live.

[18:54] You'll find [music] what you need at

[19:21] commencement address? [music] 1985, '87,

[19:24] or '89? Be yourself. Be your best self.

[19:28] Pencils down, the correct answer is

[19:30] 1987.

[19:34] Angels & Demons in Rome, an

[19:36] Entertainment Tonight event.

[19:39] Our exclusive coverage [music] continues

[19:41] from Italy. Here is Mary Hart. Fans who

[19:45] know the book Angels & Demons know that

[19:47] the story takes place in [music] just

[19:49] one night here in Rome, mostly at the

[19:51] Vatican and St. Peter's just behind me.

[19:53] Shooting of course took a lot longer

[19:55] than that and included [music]

[19:57] rebuilding Vatican City out of foam back

[19:59] in LA and this little wedding story.

[20:04] Tom Hanks kissing the bride? Yes, real

[20:07] life interrupted art when the film was

[20:08] being shot in front of Rome's historic

[20:10] Pantheon. The wedding had been scheduled

[20:12] around the same time as filming on some

[20:15] scenes.

[20:16] She was getting married on the same day

[20:18] we were shooting in front of the

[20:19] Pantheon. She was getting married inside

[20:21] the Pantheon. Two things were required.

[20:24] We needed to get our shot and she needed

[20:26] to get to the altar. I'm 14 weeks

[20:28] pregnant. She's 14 weeks pregnant. I had

[20:31] nothing to do with it. They wound up

[20:32] getting my wedding pictures with Tom

[20:34] Hanks and we got our movie made for the

[20:36] day and it was a lot of laughs. Great

[20:38] compromise. Not only did she get to the

[20:41] altar, I'd say the end results are

[20:42] speaking to himself. It's all It's all

[20:45] sanct- all sanctified. It's all legal.

[20:47] It's all good. It was just amazing for

[20:49] for Tom to come over and help me get

[20:51] there cuz it it made it made a huge

[20:53] difference.

[20:54] The film opening May 15th takes Tom into

[20:57] the water, sometimes in very little

[20:59] clothing. Well, it was a very sexy

[21:02] movie, too. I mean, you are in the pool

[21:04] in your Speedo.

[21:06] Nothing's more sexy than that.

[21:08] >> [laughter]

[21:08] >> You know Yeah, boy. But the scene of him

[21:10] climbing out of the pool was cut. Poor

[21:12] Tom. I worked hard.

[21:15] I wanted those rock hard abs to appear

[21:17] on screen. And you sort of do, but

[21:19] they're underneath like, you know,

[21:20] [music] clothes and stuff like that.

[21:21] What are you going to do? You looked

[21:23] awesome. And you look great now, but I

[21:25] can't You got to maintain the temple,

[21:26] Mary. You got to maintain the temple.

[21:28] You have to be 52-years old. You got to

[21:30] stop eating some things and start eating

[21:32] a few others. You got to get out a

[21:33] little bit. And can you believe this

[21:35] incredible site [music] is actually a

[21:36] set of the Vatican that the filmmakers

[21:39] built near Hollywood for certain scenes

[21:41] in the film.

[21:42] And tomorrow, Tom Hanks and Ron Howard

[21:44] revealed just how they did it. How and

[21:47] why they built a perfect Vatican City

[21:49] [music] almost to size back home in Los

[21:51] Angeles. Exclusive. How Angels and

[21:54] Demons built the Vatican in Hollywood.

[21:56] What was it like the first time you

[21:58] walked on that Styrofoam set?

[21:59] >> It was stunning. It was a perfect

[22:02] replica. The new NCIS spin-off secrets.

[22:05] [music]

[22:05] We're with the stars. And a Beverly

[22:07] Hills wide-awake facelift.

[22:09] >> I don't feel anything. That's tomorrow.

[22:14] Drama on the dance floor. Will Melissa

[22:16] compete? We [music] have her exclusive

[22:18] rehearsal. But first, CSI: Miami gets

[22:21] explosive [music]

[22:22] tonight on CBS.

[22:26] A family's birthday brunch is blown up

[22:28] by the Russian mob, and then the CSI

[22:31] group is targeted in the morgue. ET was

[22:33] there for THE BIG SCENE.

[22:39] GOD, I hope I survive this.

[22:42] And tonight on ABC's Dancing with the

[22:44] Stars, Melissa struggled back from a

[22:46] hairline fracture to her ribs. Only ET

[22:48] is in our [music] top secret location.

[22:50] To watch us learn two dances. Her injury

[22:53] stopped her from performing live last

[22:55] week.

[22:55] >> I was in tears, first of all. Ooh,

[22:57] there's a lot of emotion going on.

[22:59] So, can Can do the Viennese waltz and

[23:01] the shaking samba? We've kind of found a

[23:03] treatment. It's a numbing [music] patch

[23:05] that helps us get through practice.

[23:07] Choreography-wise, he's made the routine

[23:09] so that right as of now we [music] can

[23:11] do everything. So, I think part of our

[23:13] fear was what's wrong and is it going to

[23:14] get worse? Is there anything that we can

[23:16] do? I don't want to move to where it

[23:17] hurts if it's going to do some more

[23:19] damage. It's not going to. So, this week

[23:21] the difference with practice is that we

[23:23] can do things and if it hurts a little

[23:24] bit, it's okay. For more of Melissa's

[23:26] rehearsal, check out ET on MSN at

[23:28] et.msn.com.

[23:30] And she does have a special signal if

[23:32] she starts to feel pain. It's usually a

[23:34] big scream

[23:36] followed by a punch to the chest. And

[23:38] that usually means let's not do that one

[23:40] again.

[23:41] >> [laughter]

[23:42] >> For Shawn and Mark, they're busy

[23:43] rehearsing this [music] paso doble if

[23:45] Shawn can just stop laughing.

[23:47] >> We're working really hard, but

[23:49] >> [laughter]

[23:53] >> I don't know why that's funny.

[23:55] >> [laughter]

[23:58] >> All day.

[23:59] This is all day.

[24:00] Oh, hang in there, Mark. We know [music]

[24:01] Shawn has no trouble learning the steps.

[24:04] All right, take a look at the new

[24:06] Jessica Simpson, [music] sexy and

[24:08] seductive for Vanity Fair.

[24:12] Sultry and showing leg in a robe

[24:14] recalling classic Hollywood and putting

[24:16] the memories of those other pictures to

[24:18] rest.

[24:19] >> I think there was something to prove. I

[24:20] mean, the last public thing that

[24:22] happened with her was these [music]

[24:23] photographs. They say she gained weight,

[24:25] didn't gain weight, it doesn't matter

[24:26] because the photographs themselves are

[24:28] the thing, [music]

[24:29] you know, and they became the fact. The

[24:30] shots of Jessica performing earlier this

[24:32] year led to her weight being hot topic

[24:34] number one for weeks. But in the new

[24:36] Vanity Fair on stands this week, Simpson

[24:38] regains her sex symbol status. If you

[24:40] [music] talk to her people, they say she

[24:42] never actually gained weight, that it

[24:43] was all just

[24:45] mirrors or trick photography or smoke or

[24:47] something.

[24:48] Oh, well, regardless, she looks amazing

[24:51] now. And don't go anywhere, [music]

[24:53] Elizabeth Edwards and Oprah in seconds.

[25:19] Buckman called. Dana the designer Dana

[25:21] Buckman? Your $100 each total.

[25:25] a matching purse.

[25:26] >> be a fairy tale. It has to be a myth.

[25:30] Unless She shopped at Kohl's sale.

[25:33] >> Used her Kohl's card.

[25:33] >> And her Kohl's cash. Looks like she got

[25:35] paid to shop.

[25:36] >> Great Scott. The legend lives. She

[25:38] shopped. She scored.

[27:16] The signs are beginning.

[27:19] The threat is growing.

[27:22] The world is waiting

[32:32] warning for all those guys. Is your

[32:34] ex-wife living alive.

[32:40] Now, Inside Edition with Deborah

[32:42] Norville.

[32:43] Hello everybody and thank you for

[32:45] joining us. Actor David Hasselhoff's

[32:47] past troubles with alcohol are no

[32:48] secret, but now there are new concerns

[32:50] about whether he suffered alcohol

[32:52] poisoning after he was hospitalized over

[32:55] the weekend. This after a drinking

[32:57] binge. Jim Moret has the latest. Did

[33:00] actor David Hasselhoff get so drunk he

[33:02] suffered alcohol poisoning? One report

[33:05] says he was hospitalized on Saturday

[33:07] with a blood alcohol level a shocking

[33:09] four times over the legal limit. But the

[33:12] former Baywatch star's lawyer flatly

[33:15] denies to Inside Edition that

[33:16] Hasselhoff's blood alcohol was ever that

[33:19] high and says Hasselhoff is fine and

[33:22] well and happy. What's not in dispute is

[33:24] that Hasselhoff was drinking at home

[33:26] over the weekend and it got so bad he

[33:28] was brought here to LA Cedars-Sinai

[33:30] Medical Center. One report says he was

[33:32] found unconscious on the floor, but

[33:35] another report says he never passed out

[33:37] and walked into the emergency room on

[33:39] his own. I'm going to stop. Remember

[33:42] this video of an incoherent Hasselhoff

[33:45] shirtless and munching on a hamburger?

[33:47] This is a mess. This time his

[33:50] 16-year-old daughter Hayley reportedly

[33:52] found him so drunk she kept slapping her

[33:55] dad's face to keep him alive. She

[33:57] frantically called her mom, Hasselhoff's

[33:59] ex-wife Pamela, who drove him to the

[34:01] hospital where reports say his blood

[34:04] alcohol level was an astronomical 0.39.

[34:08] If he was at a 0.39, he was having

[34:09] difficulty breathing. She in likely in

[34:12] in all likelihood saved his life. This

[34:14] was Hasselhoff the day before. Check out

[34:16] the T-shirt. It says, "I'm not dead

[34:19] yet." The incident comes as Hasselhoff

[34:21] prepares to judge a new season of NBC's

[34:24] America's Got Talent, [music]

[34:25] which premieres June 23rd.

[34:30] >> [singing]

[34:31] >> The show will try to duplicate the

[34:32] phenomenal success of its sister [music]

[34:34] show Britain's Got Talent since the

[34:36] discovery of singer Susan Boyle.

[34:39] >> [music and singing]

[34:42] >> Now there's a new challenger for Boyle,

[34:44] a pizza delivery guy who suffers stage

[34:46] fright.

[34:47] >> Have you ever done anything like this

[34:48] where you sung in an audience like this

[34:50] or No. No. And guess what? He can bring

[34:54] the house down, too.

[34:56] >> [music]

[35:02] [music]

[35:04] >> In a statement to Inside Edition,

[35:06] Hasselhoff's attorneys said the star is

[35:08] {quote} disturbed and saddened by the

[35:10] fact that a certain individual is

[35:12] disseminating grossly inaccurate stories

[35:14] about him.

[35:15] Almost every couple will tell you that

[35:16] finding together time is one of the

[35:18] biggest challenges when you have a busy

[35:20] family and work life. But when you are

[35:22] in the first family and work is being

[35:24] the president, it's downright near

[35:25] impossible. But a new report says the

[35:27] Obamas just had their first date night

[35:29] at a DC restaurant since moving into the

[35:31] White House.

[35:34] It took exactly 103 days, but the Obamas

[35:37] finally found time for a date night. The

[35:40] [music] president and first lady enjoyed

[35:42] a cool spring evening strolling

[35:44] hand-in-hand across the White House

[35:46] lawn. A relaxed-looking Obama sported a

[35:48] suit with no tie and the always

[35:51] fashionable Michelle paired a crisp

[35:53] white blouse with a long tie in the back

[35:55] and black capri pants for the romantic

[35:57] date. Earlier, the Obamas left the

[36:00] confines of the White House bubble and

[36:02] had an intimate dinner at this posh

[36:04] Georgetown restaurant Citronelle.

[36:06] >> [music]

[36:06] >> Despite crowds of curious onlookers, the

[36:09] restaurant staff was able to find some

[36:11] privacy for the first couple. They were

[36:13] very friendly, very nice. They said

[36:15] hello to everybody here. And they

[36:17] signaled to me that they wanted to be

[36:19] left alone for a while. They didn't want

[36:20] to see the menu, they didn't want to

[36:22] hear anything. They wanted to have a

[36:23] private time. This is the [music]

[36:25] private dining room where the Obamas

[36:27] sat. Before dinner, the first lady

[36:29] ordered a round of vodka martinis with

[36:31] olives.

[36:32] And we got an exclusive look at the

[36:34] delicious French meal prepared for the

[36:36] Obamas by one of Washington's most

[36:38] renowned chefs, Michel Richard. Voilà,

[36:42] monsieur le président. Obama dined on a

[36:44] salad niçoise and braised short ribs, a

[36:47] house specialty. The first lady ate a

[36:50] meal made just for her. Michelle was

[36:52] cute. She'd ordered an item which is

[36:54] normally on the main course menu, which

[36:56] is a very small tasting lobster burger,

[36:58] but uh the kitchen made a very large

[37:00] lobster burger for her. At one point,

[37:03] Michelle Obama thanked the chef in

[37:05] French. Yes, she kissed me and she I

[37:07] think she said "Merci beaucoup."

[37:10] We're learning more about the tragic

[37:12] accident at the Dallas Cowboys training

[37:14] facility that left a team scout

[37:16] paralyzed. As Paul Wood reports, it all

[37:18] happened when a freak storm blasted

[37:20] through the training facility, trapping

[37:22] many of the rookies and staff who were

[37:23] inside. Police have just released the

[37:26] first of the 911 calls.

[37:29] I'm at the Dallas Cowboys practice

[37:31] facility, the Dallas Ranch. The wind

[37:33] blew the facility to collapse during the

[37:35] practice. Dramatic new details are

[37:37] emerging about the collapse of the

[37:38] Dallas Cowboys practice dome during a

[37:41] violent storm.

[37:42] >> Do you know how many people are trapped?

[37:43] At least 20 people are in there. I don't

[37:46] know

[37:46] if it might be closer to 50. Moments

[37:49] before the collapse during a rookie

[37:51] training session, the lights begin to

[37:53] sway wildly. Then, the walls ripple in

[37:56] the wind. Suddenly, the whole nine-story

[37:59] structure rips apart, trapping players,

[38:02] coaches, and sports reporters. Oh my

[38:04] god. Players who were not hurt quickly

[38:07] pitch in to HELP THE INJURED.

[38:20] SOME, LIKE THIS MAN, WERE HELPED OUT OF

[38:22] the wreckage unhurt, but 12 others were

[38:24] trapped under the twisted metal.

[38:28] I know, I'm over here. GET OUT OF HERE.

[38:30] COME ON. COME AND I JUST start

[38:31] screaming, "Help us. Help us. We're

[38:33] trapped. Help us. We're trapped."

[38:34] >> Model Kristy Turner was among the

[38:36] injured.

[38:37] >> We can hear in your voice and see in

[38:38] your eyes the emotion is still very real

[38:41] right now, isn't it? I'm trying to like

[38:43] hold it together. Football players I saw

[38:46] with gashes in their head and you know,

[38:48] I come out with a fractured rib. I I

[38:50] really just can't complain. I have my

[38:51] life and my health and my family and my

[38:53] friends. And these emergency 911 calls

[38:56] made during those terrifying minutes

[38:58] have just been released.

[38:59] >> It looks like the whole thing has

[39:01] collapsed. This thing was huge. An

[39:03] eyewitness shot this startling image at

[39:05] the very moment of the collapse. It

[39:08] shows an upside down funnel of wind

[39:10] called a microburst. A microburst is a

[39:13] sudden downward blast of high wind. The

[39:15] one that caused the collapse is

[39:17] estimated to be at least 70 miles per

[39:20] hour. The whole side comes up and the

[39:22] ceiling just splits and the first thing

[39:24] we think is it's tornado. The structure

[39:26] was built in 2003 and upgraded last

[39:29] year. The most seriously injured is a

[39:32] 33-year-old scout who was paralyzed

[39:34] below the waist.

[39:37] 70 people were inside the building when

[39:39] it collapsed including 27 rookies.

[39:41] Heartbreak for American Idol winner

[39:43] David Cook. His brother Adam, who was

[39:45] such an inspiration during Cook's

[39:47] winning run last season, has finally

[39:49] lost his long battle with cancer. Megan

[39:52] Alexander has the latest on this Idol's

[39:54] loss.

[39:55] Everybody here I'm affected by this

[39:57] disease. Uh I actually lost my brother

[39:59] yesterday.

[40:01] Gasps of disbelief as American Idol

[40:03] winner David Cook breaks the tragic news

[40:06] of his brother's death. 37-year-old Adam

[40:08] Cook had been battling brain cancer

[40:10] throughout his younger brother's journey

[40:12] to victory on the show. In a bittersweet

[40:14] irony, David Cook broke the news of his

[40:17] brother's death at a run to raise money

[40:19] for brain cancer research. He choked as

[40:21] he made the announcement.

[40:23] >> I couldn't imagine

[40:29] I couldn't imagine being anywhere else

[40:31] right now. Simon Cowell said of Adam's

[40:33] passing, "I was incredibly saddened to

[40:35] hear the news. He was an incredible

[40:37] guy." And fellow judge Paula Abdul said,

[40:40] "Adam Cook was a part of our extended

[40:42] American Idol family. [music] My heart

[40:43] goes out not only to David, but his

[40:46] family as well."

[40:48] Adam Cook battled cancer for 10 years. A

[40:51] television news crew got a little too

[40:52] close when covering some dangerous

[40:54] wildfires. While talking to one

[40:56] homeowner about the fires, they suddenly

[40:58] found themselves practically surrounded

[41:00] and literally had to run for their

[41:01] lives.

[41:03] HOLY, GET OUT OF HERE. A news crew flees

[41:05] A RAGING FIRE.

[41:10] CAUGHT BY SURPRISE AS the blaze picks up

[41:12] speed.

[41:14] OPEN THE DOOR.

[41:17] GET OUT. LET'S GO.

[41:18] THE FOREST FIRES WERE BURNING ON the

[41:20] very outskirts of a major city. The TV

[41:22] crew was shooting this homeowner who was

[41:24] documenting the disaster about to

[41:26] strike. Right here is my

[41:27] brother-in-law's and mine's up there.

[41:29] Suddenly, dangerous in their face.

[41:31] >> The fire's right here too.

[41:32] >> Yeah, it's all around us.

[41:34] Oh, damn.

[41:36] That's unbelievable. HOLY, GET OUT OF

[41:38] HERE.

[41:40] Get out of here.

[41:41] GET OUT OF HERE.

[41:44] THEY RACE FOR SAFETY. IT'S GOING TO BE a

[41:46] lot of homes gone.

[41:48] More than a thousand residents were

[41:49] forced to flee their homes by the blaze.

[41:53] This homeowner had another moment of

[41:55] drama.

[41:58] More kids, yeah. Get them out now. The

[42:01] TV crew and the man with the camera got

[42:03] safely away from the fires outside

[42:05] Halifax in Canada. Get out of here.

[42:09] Get out of here.

[42:11] Back after this.

[42:13] Next, exclusive, the ex-husband of TV's

[42:16] The Cougar blasts his ex-wife. What he's

[42:19] saying about her today.

[42:21] >> It's embarrassing. And his warning for

[42:23] all those guys. Is your ex-wife living a

[42:26] lie?

[42:27] >> Then, Halle Berry freaks [music] out.

[42:30] Yes. And Denise Richards at the

[43:16] I'm all about the flashy. I'm I'm

[43:18] Hollywood. There's one time I bought a

[43:20] whole bunch of Roman candles, went in

[43:22] front of the dealership and just shot

[43:23] them in the oncoming traffic. And you

[43:26] wouldn't believe how many people pulled

[43:27] in that day.

[43:29] We got

[43:30] a riot.

[43:31] >> RICHARDS, NO! WHAT IS GOING ON? WELL,

[43:34] I'M USING fireworks to celebrate a love

[43:35] OF CAR.

[43:36] >> NO, THAT'S TROUBLE. IT'S ILLEGAL to

[43:38] shoot fireworks in the street.

[43:40] Talkin' for [music] the love of cars.

[43:42] Nobody bought any cars, but they knew

[43:44] the dealership was there. We all know

[43:47] someone affected by this housing crisis.

[43:49] People are looking for solutions in

[43:50] these [music] turbulent times. Depending

[44:47] life-changing proposition. I want you to

[44:49] write all your dreams down. But be

[44:51] careful what you wish for. Takes your

[44:53] breath away, doesn't it?

[44:54] >> And who you work for.

[44:56] >> Why do you look so frightened?

[44:58] New Medium tonight 9/8 Central on NBC.

[45:23] Oscar winner Halle Berry has had it with

[45:25] the paparazzi and she wasn't shy about

[45:27] letting them know, letting it fly after

[45:30] being followed by photographers over the

[45:31] weekend.

[45:37] That's Halle Berry in a heated

[45:39] confrontation with paparazzi.

[45:44] It happened outside the trendy Los

[45:45] Angeles restaurant Barefoot. The Oscar

[45:47] winner looked gorgeous in casual clothes

[45:50] carrying her daughter. But then she

[45:52] loses it on three dozen photographers

[45:54] who'd been following her all day long.

[45:57] Before she freaked out, a friend warned

[45:59] the photogs to back off.

[46:01] >> You get too close, he's going back in.

[46:04] Then Halle emerged and she let the

[46:06] photographers have it.

[46:08] I'm tired. Yes.

[46:12] Funny man Jay Leno is finally talking

[46:15] about his first missed show in 17 years

[46:17] and he says no, it wasn't the swine flu

[46:19] that landed him in the hospital. He was

[46:21] just worn out.

[46:24] Jay Leno is revealing why he recently

[46:26] missed his first day of work in 17

[46:29] years. He says it was due to exhaustion.

[46:32] "I think I just probably got worn out."

[46:33] Leno tells people.com. "No, I didn't

[46:36] have swine flu or anything like that.

[46:38] I'm fine. I'm great."

[46:43] That's actress Denise Richards singing

[46:46] an off-key rendition of Take Me Out to

[46:48] the Ball Game.

[46:58] It happened at a Chicago Cubs game and

[47:00] let's just say we don't think Richards

[47:02] will be the next American Idol.

[47:08] She is a 40-year-old woman with men half

[47:11] her age vying to be her boyfriend, but

[47:13] the ex-husband of the woman now starring

[47:15] on TV's The Cougar has a word of warning

[47:17] for those young men. Be careful what you

[47:19] wish for. Inside Edition spoke

[47:21] exclusively with The Cougar's ex-husband

[47:23] and among his explosive charges, she

[47:25] owes him a lot of money. Here's Megan

[47:28] Alexander.

[47:30] She's the alluring star of TV Land's hit

[47:32] reality show The Cougar. Ryan,

[47:34] >> [music]

[47:34] >> kiss me. Stacey Anderson, a 40-year-old

[47:36] stunner, is hunting for love in the arms

[47:38] of hunky young men half her age.

[47:42] Some will earn a kiss, others a

[47:44] kiss-off. But this reality show isn't

[47:47] all fun and games. We're here in the

[47:49] home of The Cougar's ex-husband who says

[47:51] Stacey Anderson left him and their three

[47:54] kids. He says on this reality show, The

[47:57] cougar isn't the catch she's made out to

[47:59] be. When she first decided to leave,

[48:02] uh it was it was uh pretty devastating.

[48:05] Her ex-husband, Steve Anderson, is

[48:07] speaking exclusively to Inside Edition

[48:09] about being [music] married to the

[48:11] real-life cougar.

[48:12] >> I tried everything I could to get her to

[48:14] stay. Stacie was a pretty brunette when

[48:16] they wed in 1992. They had three

[48:19] children together. There were some good

[48:20] times in there. But like the cougar she

[48:22] plays on TV, Steve also says Stacie

[48:25] preferred nightclubs [music] and young

[48:27] men. I have a zest for life, and I'm

[48:29] drawn to somebody who has the same.

[48:31] Anderson says they drifted apart, and

[48:33] their 10-year marriage ended in divorce.

[48:35] According to allegations contained in

[48:37] court papers Anderson filed in 2005,

[48:40] Stacie suffered from alcoholism and

[48:42] substance abuse. Did she cheat? Mm, no

[48:45] comment. But listen to this. A couple

[48:48] years ago, I got a call from her

[48:50] boyfriend at the time who said, "Who is

[48:53] this girl? You know, she's out to uh

[48:55] cheating on me now." And I said, "Well,

[48:57] join the club." Anderson says he got

[48:59] full custody of the couple's three

[49:01] children and raised them in Utah. He

[49:03] also helped raise Stacie's 23-year-old

[49:06] daughter from a previous marriage. That

[49:08] daughter is older than some of the guys

[49:11] her mom is dating on the show. She's

[49:13] kissing men younger than her oldest

[49:15] daughter. If that's what she wants to

[49:17] do, it's embarrassing to us as a family.

[49:20] Um you know, my own daughter watched the

[49:22] show and was just like But Anderson says

[49:25] he was positively stunned after seeing

[49:27] his ex-wife boast of being a millionaire

[49:29] real estate agent.

[49:30] >> She was portraying herself as being this

[49:32] very busy mom and and making millions of

[49:35] dollars, and I was just shocked.

[49:37] >> Why are you speaking out?

[49:38] >> The reason that that I decided to talk

[49:40] about this is because

[49:42] um she's still refusing to pay all of

[49:45] the the 2 years of back child support

[49:47] that she owes, plus, you know, medical

[49:49] bills and I mean, it's it's a pretty big

[49:51] tab. He says by his calculation she owes

[49:54] him $30,000,

[49:56] but most painful of all he says is

[49:58] watching her portrayed as a doting mom.

[50:01] Right now, how often does she see her

[50:03] kids? You know, there've definitely been

[50:05] years where, you know, it's been three,

[50:07] maybe four days out of the year.

[50:09] >> [music]

[50:11] >> The musician and independent filmmaker

[50:13] is now happily remarried to a striking

[50:15] blonde who looks a lot like the cougar.

[50:17] Steven Anderson hopes his ex finds love,

[50:19] too, but he has this message for

[50:21] whomever wins the cougar. They're going

[50:23] to inherit somebody with four kids that

[50:26] owes a ton of back child support. So, I

[50:29] think they're going to wake up and go,

[50:30] "Whoa, what did I win?"

[50:32] >> [music]

[50:33] >> And Mr. Anderson says he's seen that

[50:35] fancy house Stacy lives in on the show,

[50:37] but says as far as he knows before the

[50:39] program began, she lived in a

[50:40] one-bedroom apartment. Coming up, we'll

[50:43] show you a special way to save [music]
