[0:00] The way that we build software is going
[0:02] to change. The AI is going to write a
[0:04] better commit than I ever would. The
[0:06] agent can check its outputs. It can run
[0:08] a test. If the test fails, it can just
[0:10] read the output of the failed test and
[0:12] kind of continue going until the test
[0:14] passed.
[0:14] >> Do you have some advice for like the,
[0:16] you know, the product managers or folks
[0:18] out there who want to learn this stuff?
[0:20] >> There's no way that AI can just
[0:22] magically think for you and make all the
[0:25] decisions for you. You have to bring
[0:26] some amount of context on the type of
[0:28] product that you want to build. Some
[0:30] people who've started to use some of
[0:31] these newer tools, they build the first
[0:34] version and they get something out there
[0:36] and then they have to like go back and
[0:38] kind of buy a textbook and learn the
[0:40] fundamentals before they can take things
[0:42] any further. How to build an app with AI
[0:44] from 0 to one. So, there's a couple
[0:47] things here.
[0:50] Okay, welcome everyone. My guest today
[0:52] is Lee Robinson who is now at Cursor.
[0:55] Lee previously led developer experience
[0:57] at Verscell uh where he helped build
[1:00] Vzero and you know frankly he's a kind
[1:02] of like a legend in the in the developer
[1:04] relations field. So uh really excited to
[1:07] get him to talk about um you know how to
[1:09] build an app with AI from 0ero to one
[1:12] and also how you know existing engineers
[1:14] can uh get better use of these AI tools.
[1:17] So welcome Lee.
[1:19] >> Thank you. Yeah I'm really excited to
[1:20] talk through this.
[1:21] >> Yeah. All right. So uh before we get to
[1:23] the building part, let's talk ab
