[0:08] A day for remembering here in London on

[0:10] the eve of the funeral at Westminster

[0:12] Abbey. The body of Princess Diana is

[0:14] taken home to Kensington Palace for the

[0:17] last time. Her sons reach across the

[0:19] barrier there to touch and be touched by

[0:22] the public as the Queen of Great Britain

[0:24] speaks from her home and her heart. New

[0:28] pictures of Diana in the last hours of

[0:30] her life taken, it is said, by a hotel

[0:32] security camera. And the death today of

[0:35] another special woman, Mother Teresa,

[0:38] who devoted her life to the poorest of

[0:41] the poor.

[1:09] body was taken to her Kensington Palace

[1:11] home in advance of the funeral, the

[1:14] incredible silence of a crowd so large

[1:17] all along the route spoke volumes.

[1:21] The same was true earlier at Kensington

[1:23] Palace when Diana's two sons and Prince

[1:26] Charles reached across the barrier to

[1:28] give and to receive, a public show of

[1:31] grief. And at Buckingham Palace, the

[1:33] Queen of Great Britain in a dark dress

[1:36] and cut glass voice addressed the public

[1:38] and its criticism that she had not been

[1:41] there for them sooner.

[1:43] >> First, I want to pay tribute to Diana

[1:46] myself.

[1:48] She was an exceptional and gifted hum
