[0:06] At 6:00 tonight, South Florida blackout.
[0:09] FPL has a massive power failure
[0:11] affecting hundreds of thousands of
[0:12] people and intersections, making driving
[0:15] around town a nightmare.
[0:16] An equipment malfunction at an FPL
[0:18] substation shut down two nuclear
[0:20] reactors at Turkey Point, causing the
[0:22] domino effect in outages.
[0:24] And right now, the situation has gotten
[0:26] better, but it's far from over. And the
[0:28] evening commute may be a long one for
[0:29] some of you.
[0:30] Now, the outages started at about 1:00

[1:06] there was some sort of fire out there in
[1:08] the last few moments.
[1:10] Not in the last few moments, but it did
[1:12] it did contribute to the problem. It
[1:14] happened at the Flagami substation,
[1:16] which is right behind me here. We are
[1:18] off Flagler Street, and we are at 92nd
[1:22] Avenue and Flagler. This is what is
[1:24] called the Flagami substation. This is
[1:27] where the problem
