[0:00] this is the biggest difference that I

[0:01] see in many companies verus Airbnb and

[0:03] apple that marketing and product

[0:05] management are cohesively embedded

[0:07] together every does two releases in a

[0:09] year and the reason they do that is they

[0:11] work backwards from a narrative that

[0:13] they want the customer to experience

[0:16] rather than forward from the MVPs that

[0:18] 16 different teams can ship right so

[0:20] typically this is what happen right

[0:21] there three or four different teams that

[0:22] are shipping some parts of it and the

[0:24] user journey is broken let's say the

[0:25] user journey is sign up and it requires

[0:27] five different teams to work together

[0:28] one team says I can do this much the

[0:30] other team say I can do this much other

[0:31] team says I can do this much the entire

[0:33] user Journey looks crappy it goes like

[0:35] this right but in case of do is we'll

[0:38] first design the user experience Journey

[0:40] the promises that they want to feel and

[0:42] then we're going to challenge the teams

[0:44] to rise up to that narrative so at the

[0:46] beginning of that year we will sit down

[0:47] and say okay next June we want the

[0:49] customer to experience and feel the

[0:51] following things from Airbnb if when I

[0:54] book and travel at Airbnb I feel

[0:56] extremely safe if something goes wrong

[0:59] I'm able to actually report that stuff

[1:01] very easily and protect myself as an

[1:03] example and then every team would be

[1:05] challenged to say look guys you got this

[1:06] much time time is immovable the time is

[1:08] the same time but now your job is to

[1:10] rise up to the occasion and build the

[1:11] most amazing experience that you can

[1:14] together as te
