[0:54] University and further distinguished
[0:56] himself as an author and administrator
[0:59] of the law

[1:03] member of Congress as minority leader as
[1:07] vice president and as president I

[1:53] Service as a Republican leader in the
[1:55] House of Representatives I watched him
[1:58] and I worked with him on a most personal
[2:00] basis I saw firsthand his skills as a
[2:03] conciliator and a mediator those skills
[2:06] served our party well in the Congress
[2:08] and in the past two years they've served
[2:10] a country well too bringing us together
[2:13] uniting us out of a terrible period of
[2:16] disunity the G
