[15:15] we're going to be reading verses 22

[15:16] through 33 and if you're able would you

[15:23] tonight to the message that God has on

[15:25] our

[15:26] heart Matthew 14:22 and straightway

[15:29] Jesus constrained his disciples to get

[15:32] into a ship to go before him to the

[15:34] other side while he sent the multitudes

[15:37] away and when he had sent the multitudes

[15:39] away he went up into a mountain apart to

[15:43] pray when the evening was come he was

[15:46] there alone but the ship was now in the

[15:49] midst of the sea tossed with waves the

[15:52] wind was contrary in the Fourth Watch of

[15:55] the night Jesus went unto them walking

[15:57] on the sea

[15:59] when the disciples saw him walking on

[16:01] the sea they were troubled saying it is

[16:04] the spirit and they cried out for fear

[16:07] but straightway Jesus spake unto them

[16:09] saying be of good cheer it is I Be not

[16:14] Afraid and Peter answered him and said

[16:17] Lord if it be thou bid me come unto thee

[16:20] on the water and he said come when Peter

[16:25] was come down out of the ship he walked

[16:27] on the water to go to Jesus but when he

[16:31] saw the wind boisterous he was afraid

[16:33] beginning to sink he cried and saying

[16:36] Lord save me immediately Jesus stretched

[16:39] forth his hand and caught him said to

[16:42] him oh thou of little faith wherefore

[16:45] did thou doubt when the wind when they

[16:49] were coming to the ship the wind ceased

[16:53] then they that were in the ship came and

[16:56] worshiped him saying of a truth truth

[16:59] Thou Art the Son of

[17:03] God sometimes

[17:06] storms enter your life and the storm is

[17:11] to bring you to a point of

[17:15] worship sometimes storms enter your life

[17:18] the purpose of the storm is to bring you

[17:22] to a point of worship let's go to the

[17:25] Lord in prayer tonight dear heavenly

[17:26] father Lord I Thank you the opportunity

[17:29] to preach your word tonight Lord I pray

[17:31] if you would please cleanse me of sin

[17:33] and empty me of myself that I might get

[17:35] out of the way tonight and your word may

[17:38] go forth Lord I pray that you'd speak to

[17:40] our hearts challenge us from your word

[17:43] help us I pray in your name amen thank

[17:45] you for standing you may be seated many

[17:48] of us familiar uh with this account in

[17:51] scripture finding it also in Mark

[17:54] chapter number 6 verses 45- 52 and also

[17:59] in the Book of

[18:01] John we find that Matthew's

[18:05] account Jesus has just finished feeding

[18:09] the

[18:10] 5,000 they've witnessed a

[18:12] miracle him feeding the 5,000 besides

[18:16] women and

[18:17] children they've seen the power of God

[18:20] on

[18:23] display but

[18:25] now it needs to be the power of God in

[18:27] their own person

[18:30] life see sometimes when God does

[18:32] miraculous

[18:34] things for other

[18:37] people we don't personalize

[18:40] it and in the disciples case they had

[18:43] eaten of the fish they'd eaten of the

[18:44] bread they're still

[18:46] missing the most important element of

[18:50] the

[18:51] miracle and that is who performed

[18:56] it so we begin in verse 22 he's

[18:59] constrained his disciples to get into a

[19:01] ship and to go before him unto the other

[19:06] side while he sent the multitudes away

[19:09] so he commands them to go into the other

[19:12] side Mark account talks about it as well

[19:15] to go into the other side so they get

[19:17] into a boat and they go uh a vessel this

[19:20] large to carry that many people probably

[19:22] 25 to 30 foot boat that is there and the

[19:26] disciples are experienced fishermen so

[19:29] many of them have sea practice they've

[19:32] been on the sea they know how to handle

[19:34] the boat he tells them to go to the

[19:38] other side and he sent the multitudes

[19:41] away and he went into a mountain apart

[19:44] to pray now in the beginning part of

[19:46] this chapter we see that they got news

[19:49] that John the Baptist had died which is

[19:52] Jesus's cousin so there's bound to be

[19:55] some sorrow in his heart some heaviness

[19:57] in his heart because of the death of

[20:00] John the Baptist the murder of John the

[20:02] Baptist and he's been doing Ministry

[20:04] work and he goes apart to

[20:08] pray so he's praying and while he's

[20:12] praying the storm

[20:15] comes now I love Mark's account turn

[20:17] over if you would to Mark chapter

[20:19] 6 I love the wording in Mark 6 about

[20:23] this same

[20:24] storm the same account Mark chapter 6

[20:27] and ver verse number

[20:31] 45 and straight away he constrained his

[20:34] disciples to get into the ship and to go

[20:36] to the other side before Beth unto Betha

[20:40] while he sent away the people when he

[20:42] sent them away he departed into a

[20:44] mountain to pray and when even was come

[20:48] the ship is in the midst of the

[20:50] sea and he alone on the land so he sent

[20:55] them into the ship to go to the other

[20:57] side Sea of Galilee here here 6 mil by

[21:00] 13 miles and so they're in the middle

[21:04] they're in the middle of the

[21:07] sea that region has uh hillsides and uh

[21:11] Cliffs that are there and many times the

[21:13] storms would roll over the cliffs and

[21:14] down into the sea and could come upon

[21:16] you very

[21:18] quickly by the way the storm didn't

[21:20] catch Jesus by

[21:22] surprise he knew what was happening he

[21:24] knew where he sent them he knew where he

[21:26] put

[21:27] them the reason I love Mark's account so

[21:30] much is verse 48 and when he saw

[21:34] them when he saw them he sent them to

[21:37] the other side but they were never out

[21:38] of sight of

[21:40] him and when he saw them toiling in the

[21:43] rowing for the wind was contrary unto

[21:46] them and about the Fourth Watch of the

[21:47] night he cometh unto them walking upon

[21:52] the sea and and this next part's really

[21:54] interesting and would have passed by

[22:00] them isn't that

[22:02] interesting would have passed by them

[22:06] and met them on the other

[22:08] side want you to think about it a little

[22:10] bit he would have passed by he'd have

[22:13] walked right

[22:15] by but he passed

[22:17] by but instead he comes along but when

[22:21] they saw him walking they supposed it to

[22:23] be a spirit and they are

[22:26] fearful so he's been on the other he

[22:28] told him to go the other side he'd been

[22:29] praying for them the storm arose and he

[22:31] sees them

[22:33] toiling and he would have passed by them

[22:36] according to Mark's

[22:37] account but as he's walking on the water

[22:40] they see

[22:41] him and fear grips their

[22:45] heart I want you to think about this for

[22:47] a moment they're toiling they're rowing

[22:49] the Bible says the wind is contrary it's

[22:51] adversarial to

[22:54] them they're okay with the

[22:56] storm but it was

[22:58] when they saw something coming across

[23:01] the water they began to be

[23:04] fearful they cried out in

[23:07] fear they saw a spirit and they cried

[23:11] out for verse 50 for they all saw him

[23:15] and were

[23:18] troubled but immediately he responds be

[23:21] of good cheer it is

[23:25] I he uses that phrase multiple times

[23:28] when he in the storms with them be of

[23:30] good cheer it is I it's the

[23:34] Lord then we have Peter's response

[23:37] Matthew 14 records for us Peter's

[23:39] response Lord if it be

[23:42] thou bid me come on the

[23:46] water lord if it be thou bid me come on

[23:50] the water and we know Peter sometimes in

[23:52] scriptures often found opening his mouth

[23:55] when he shouldn't and other times

[23:58] opening his mouth when he

[24:00] should and In This Moment he's the only

[24:03] one in the

[24:05] boat that ask to walk on the water he's

[24:09] the only one who said Lord if it be thou

[24:11] bid me come and I love Jesus's response

[24:14] come just one word

[24:19] come now remember the wind is contrary

[24:23] the waves are

[24:25] contrary we got to picture it in our

[24:27] mind and I think sometimes we have Bible

[24:30] story pictures of flog graphs from years

[24:35] ago of Peter walking on the water let's

[24:38] remember this is a

[24:41] storm the waves are rolling the wind is

[24:44] strong Peter didn't step out by faith in

[24:48] calm

[24:49] Waters Peter stepped out by faith on a

[24:52] stormy

[24:54] sea so he steps out by faith on the

[24:57] stormy see and he starts off

[25:00] well and Matthew 14 records it for us

[25:03] look at if you would in Matthew

[25:06] 14 he said come and when Peter was come

[25:09] out verse

[25:10] 29 he walked on water to go to

[25:15] Jesus then there's verse 30 but

[25:19] uhoh when he saw the wind boisterous he

[25:23] was afraid and beginning to sink he

[25:26] cried saying Lord save me I want to I

[25:31] want to remind you of something very

[25:33] quickly when he stepped out of the boat

[25:36] the winds were still

[25:37] blowing when he first started walking on

[25:40] the water the waves were still

[25:43] tossing but when he first stepped out

[25:45] his eyes were on

[25:48] Jesus but then he saw and took his eyes

[25:52] off the

[25:53] Lord and he begins to sink and he cries

[25:56] Lord save me I love the word picture

[25:59] here immediately Jesus stretched forth

[26:01] his hand and saved

[26:04] him Peter takes his eyes off but Jesus

[26:08] saves him immediately and I'm thankful

[26:09] when people cry out for Jesus to save

[26:11] him he does it

[26:15] immediately

[26:17] now that's not the most exciting part of

[26:21] the miracle the first miracle is Jesus

[26:23] walking on the water the second Miracle

[26:25] is Peter walking on the water there's a

[26:28] third Miracle here look what happens

[26:31] next in our account Matthew

[26:35] 14 verse number 31 immediately Jesus

[26:39] stretched forth his hand caught him said

[26:41] unto him oh thou of little faith

[26:45] wherefore did thou doubt and when they

[26:47] were coming to the ship the wind

[26:50] ceased soon as Jesus and Peter stepped

[26:53] on the boat no more wind no more waves

[26:58] he stepped on the boat and the wind

[27:01] ceased and they that were in the ship

[27:04] came and

[27:06] worshiped

[27:09] him the storm Jesus walking on the Water

[27:13] Peter walking on the water calling peace

[27:16] to the Sea and the wind brought them to

[27:19] a point of

[27:21] worshiping the

[27:25] Lord so they begin to worship him of a

[27:29] truth Thou Art the Son of God they ate

[27:34] bread and fish earlier in the

[27:36] day 5,000 people they saw fed they

[27:40] didn't worship him

[27:44] then they didn't worship him at the

[27:46] marriage in

[27:49] canaa here he

[27:51] is their personal

[27:54] storm he

[27:57] calms and then they

[28:00] worship

[28:02] him there's five takeaways

[28:05] tonight five takeaways from Peter

[28:09] walking on the

[28:10] water that we ought to pay attention to

[28:14] five takeaways to help with an

[28:16] application our own

[28:18] life number one

[28:20] application peace in Jesus is not found

[28:25] in the absence of storms

[28:29] but in the presence of

[28:32] Jesus peace in Jesus is not found in the

[28:36] absence of storms but in the presence of

[28:39] Jesus when he got in the boat that's

[28:41] when it was

[28:44] peace when he stepped in their

[28:49] presence if you and I are hoping that in

[28:52] the Christian Life we'll have peace man

[28:54] I've got a lot going on got a lot of

[28:56] storms in my life got a lot of trouble

[28:57] and time times in my life that's not

[29:01] going to bring you

[29:03] peace so if the if the storms would calm

[29:06] down I'd be at peace no you won't

[29:10] there's another storm

[29:12] coming but when you recognize that in

[29:15] the presence of Jesus there's

[29:19] peace doesn't matter what the wind's

[29:21] doing doesn't matter what the waves are

[29:23] doing you can find peace in the storm

[29:29] because of the presence of Jesus notice

[29:32] Peter steps out and walks on water

[29:35] because Jesus is

[29:37] there the wind

[29:40] cease when Jesus stepped into the boat

[29:43] when his presence was there they were

[29:46] never out of his presence because he

[29:48] always according to Mark he could see

[29:50] where they were

[29:51] at he promised to never leave thee nor

[29:54] forsake

[29:55] thee those presence is always there the

[29:58] problem is we don't always see Jesus in

[30:00] the

[30:01] storm number two take away tonight Faith

[30:05] requires us to step

[30:09] outside the

[30:11] boat Faith requires us to step outside

[30:16] the boat there's 11 other

[30:20] disciples who stayed in the

[30:22] boat and never stepped out I wonder how

[30:26] long of Peter's life do you think he was

[30:28] telling people about the time he walked

[30:30] on

[30:33] water the miracle that Jesus

[30:37] did wonder how many times he would

[30:41] encourage people to step out by faith I

[30:43] did that once I stepped out in the

[30:45] middle of a storm I want to remind you

[30:49] that Faith requires us to step outside

[30:51] the boat not always on calm

[30:54] water when Peter stepped out the winds

[30:58] and the waves were

[31:00] blowing it was contrary it's adversarial

[31:03] it was a point that they could die in

[31:05] the

[31:07] storm and that's when he stepped out if

[31:10] you're waiting for sunny skies and

[31:12] peaceful Shore before you step out to do

[31:15] something for the Lord you're not living

[31:19] by faith you're living by

[31:22] sight because Faith requires us to step

[31:25] outside the boat no matter the story

[31:27] form that we're

[31:29] in if Jesus says come you need to

[31:35] go third

[31:37] takeaway without Jesus you will

[31:44] sink you will go under the pressure of

[31:48] the wave without

[31:51] him the wind will blow you down without

[31:56] him without without him we can

[32:00] do

[32:02] nothing without Jesus you will sink

[32:06] Peter shows us that

[32:07] truth and he stepped out and he had his

[32:10] eyes on the Lord he's walking on

[32:13] water but when he looked

[32:16] away and he saw this and he saw that he

[32:20] began to

[32:21] sink without Jesus you will sink you'll

[32:25] go under the pressure of the Waves

[32:27] you'll be blown over by the storm of the

[32:33] wind so when you see the power of

[32:36] God at work in your

[32:39] life what should your response

[32:42] be takeway number

[32:44] four worship should be our response to

[32:50] seeing the power of God in our

[32:53] lives worship should be the response

[32:57] when we see the power of God in our

[33:02] lives all the disciples it

[33:06] says that they worshiped him saying of a

[33:09] truth Thou Art the Son of God now listen

[33:13] Peter's the only one who got out of the

[33:14] boat and walked on the

[33:16] Water The Other Guys he just calmed the

[33:19] storm they were

[33:22] in but it drove him to worship

[33:28] when you see the power of God evident in

[33:29] your life what's your

[33:34] response what do you

[33:37] do do you worship God and say God thank

[33:43] you thank you you're an amazing

[33:49] God got a phone call this week of

[33:51] someone who had a family

[33:53] member doctors gave a very negative

[33:56] diagnosis

[33:59] that is not looking

[34:01] good looks pretty bad pretty bleak in

[34:03] this

[34:06] situation they arrived at the hospital

[34:08] and the new doctor gathered the family

[34:11] together and goes

[34:13] um what they told you

[34:17] yesterday is not here

[34:21] today what they said

[34:25] yesterday I think they miss

[34:30] diagnosed the person I was talking to

[34:32] later on that day said I should have

[34:34] said no the great physician had other

[34:40] plans because the doctor said one thing

[34:45] and then the next day it was all

[34:49] gone kind of like after the time they

[34:52] asked people to pray for their

[34:55] relative what a coincidence

[35:01] People

[35:02] Prayed and God did

[35:06] something what a coincidence right no

[35:10] the the Lord's at work and you know what

[35:12] it drove the people who saw that to do

[35:16] give the glory to

[35:20] God some would say ah it's just the

[35:22] doctors they messed up you know they're

[35:24] just practicing medicine no I truly

[35:25] believe in my heart God entered

[35:29] intervene the response should be all the

[35:32] praise goes to Jesus all the praise goes

[35:36] to

[35:37] him ought to Humble our hearts to

[35:40] worship when you see God's power at work

[35:43] in your life it ought to drive you to

[35:46] worship

[35:47] him to recognize who he

[35:53] is number five tonight

[35:58] God wants to do incredible

[36:01] moments through your walk on water

[36:05] moments God wants to do incredible

[36:08] moments through your walk on water

[36:12] moment when you step out by

[36:16] faith God wants to do some incredible

[36:19] things through you so that others can

[36:23] see God at work in your life

[36:30] I don't know in 2025 what your step out

[36:34] of the boat moment

[36:36] is it may be getting involved in a new

[36:40] church ministry it may be stepping out

[36:42] by faith into a new job it may be

[36:45] committing to give more financially to

[36:47] the Lord it may be any area that God has

[36:49] you to step out in and you say I don't

[36:55] know Lord if it be that

[36:58] now bid me come you know what he's going

[37:02] to say

[37:05] come if you ask God for permission to

[37:08] live by faith he may Grant it to

[37:13] you Lord do you want me to yes that's

[37:17] why it's hard for some people to

[37:21] surrender now I want to remind you of

[37:23] something surrendering to God doesn't

[37:26] mean you know all the detail

[37:28] details surrendering to God is saying

[37:31] yes and then when he shows you what

[37:32] you're supposed to do you just

[37:35] obey so it's not surrendering to the big

[37:38] picture it's surrendering to God's will

[37:42] and if God says I want you to surrender

[37:45] yes Lord what do you want me to do hang

[37:48] on just wait and then one day you're

[37:52] going to be in the boat of life and he's

[37:53] going to say

[37:55] come get out step out out of the boat

[37:59] come

[38:00] move and surrender says yes

[38:03] Lord now I want to remind you Peter

[38:07] didn't step out on calm

[38:11] water if you're waiting for everything

[38:13] to line up and everything to be smooth

[38:16] before you take a step of Faith you may

[38:19] be

[38:21] waiting for a long time to do what God

[38:25] wants you to do

[38:29] but if God says come if he says get out

[38:32] of the boat we need to

[38:35] respond we need to take the step of

[38:39] Faith so

[38:41] Peter Lord if it be thou bids me come

[38:43] come he steps out by faith and woo he's

[38:46] a good

[38:48] example but he gets his eyes off the

[38:51] Lord now he's a bad

[38:54] example but then he's he's a good

[38:56] example CU he had water walking Faith

[39:21] he reaches down and gets you before you

[39:28] both are amazing both are

[39:30] miraculous you don't have to wait for

[39:32] God to pull you up out of the storm

[39:35] before you worship

[39:38] Him these disciples had in their belly

[39:41] fish and bread that God had miraculously

[39:44] provided you didn't see them after they

[39:46] ate the fish and the bread falling down

[39:48] and worshiping

[39:50] him no God was still at

[39:52] work God sent them into a storm knowing

[39:56] what he was going to

[39:59] do God sent them into a storm knowing

[40:02] how he would

[40:05] respond God allowed that to come so that

[40:09] they would come to a point of

[40:10] recognition of who he is and what he

[40:13] could do never stop being in awe of

[40:22] him he saved

[40:24] you that's a miracle

[40:29] don't ever get over what he's done for

[40:33] you we wake up in the morning we should

[40:37] stand in awe I get another

[40:40] day I have another

[40:46] breath

[40:48] now you only have so much time in a day

[40:54] the older I get the faster I think the

[40:59] go when I was a kid in school youd look

[41:02] at the clock you say oh I can't wait

[41:05] getting close to lunch and then was only

[41:08] 10 minutes went by like I'm starving

[41:10] it's time to eat

[41:12] lunch hopefully lunch going be soon you

[41:14] looked and it's still only 20 minutes

[41:16] had gone by and you're still nowhere

[41:18] close to lunch and the day seemed to

[41:20] drag on

[41:24] forever now I get busy study

[41:27] and doing office work and the next thing

[41:30] I know it's 2:00 in the

[41:32] afternoon where where did the time

[41:35] go it just flies

[41:38] by when you're were a kid man you were

[41:40] walk watching the clock watching the

[41:42] clock lunchtime yet is it lunchtime yet

[41:46] then you you were counting down when's

[41:49] the Bell going to ring so I can get out

[41:50] of school I need to get out of school

[41:51] got to get out of school when the bell's

[41:52] going how much longer

[41:57] and now I go through my day and I

[42:00] recognize you know when I was in school

[42:01] it seemed like a really long time but in

[42:03] adulthood it goes by just like

[42:07] that it's hard to believe it's it's

[42:10] middle of the week already done it

[42:13] seemed like just yesterday we were in

[42:14] church on Sunday but it just just like

[42:17] that just FES right

[42:22] by if your time's flying by God's giving

[42:26] you breath

[42:28] what are you doing with

[42:35] it preacher once said I believe it was

[42:38] Adrien

[42:39] Rogers you can't take your money to

[42:43] heaven but you can invest it and send it

[42:47] ahead you invested in missions invested

[42:51] in people sharing the gospel with them

[42:54] you can invest it into the head

[42:57] because the answer is how do you invest

[42:59] your money and take it to heaven with

[43:01] you and soul

[43:03] saved you got

[43:06] breath you gave you breath to tell

[43:08] somebody about Jesus and to worship

[43:12] him you got time gave you time to tell

[43:15] people about Jesus and to worship

[43:19] him there's a lot of things that'll Rob

[43:23] time have you've ever seen the

[43:25] miraculous power of God in your life

[43:27] your life it ought to drive you your

[43:30] knees to worship

[43:34] God sometimes God has to send a

[43:37] storm to get us to worship

[43:40] him sometimes we got to sink in the

[43:42] waters and the wind in order to worship

[43:47] Him what's the point of the whole story

[43:51] the disciples came to a point they

[43:54] recognized Jesus as the son Son of God

[44:00] and they worshiped him what's the point

[44:03] of your

[44:04] storm so you recognize him and

[44:08] worship what's the point of getting out

[44:10] of the boat so you recognize him and you

[44:14] worship

[44:15] him

[44:17] tonight sometimes God allows the storm

[44:20] of that will bring you to a point of

[44:24] worshiping him worship should be our

[44:28] only response for the power of God in

[44:31] our lives would you bow your head

[44:37] soon you're here tonight and maybe

[44:40] you're facing a

[44:43] storm right now in your life you are in

[44:46] a storm there's wind there's waves it's

[44:51] contrary maybe you've even stepped out

[44:53] by faith and now you're in a boat and

[44:54] you feel like you're sinking

[44:59] tonight you say Pastor would you pray

[45:00] for me I'm I'm in a storm I'm I feel

[45:03] like I'm sinking Pastor would you pray

[48:00] yesterday their son they in the process

[48:02] of getting everything set up for a

[48:05] facility to help him and so you be in

[48:08] prayer for the cases at this time but

[48:11] also for fatty with the chemotherapy

[48:15] she's on now it's completely wiped out

[48:17] her immune system and she caught a

[48:19] respiratory infection had a high fever

[48:22] and was in the hospital and seems to be

[48:24] doing better uh but still going to keep

[48:26] her another day for observation at least

[48:29] I'll be in prayer for the cases if you

[48:31] would and then continue to pray uh for

[48:35] the wind borns and for a lot of other

[48:37] folks been battling sickness uh garsas

[48:40] are in Texas um Miss Margarita's dad was

[48:43] in the hospital and wasn't doing very

[48:46] well I have not got an update yet uh but

[48:49] there was a chance that they were they

[48:51] were taking him off sedation going to

[48:53] help him wake up and be able to have a

[48:56] convers maybe with him today or tomorrow

[48:59] be in prayer for that he seems to be

[49:01] improving and heading in the right

[49:03] direction but we thank the Lord for that

[49:05] thank you for praying for them but

[49:06] they're down in Texas right now and

[49:09] traveled all day yesterday uh to get

[49:12] there so be in prayer for them if you

[49:14] would and then Miss Robbie has surgery

[49:17] coming up on February the 10th at 7:30

[49:21] in the morning to have her gall stones

[49:23] removed so you'll be in prayer for Miss

[49:25] Robbie uh for February the 10th having

[49:28] gallstone surgery we greatly appreciate

[49:31] that and then I continue to pray got a

[49:35] praise report emin's daughter they

[49:37] thought she had a rare uh disease and

[49:41] was going to have a lot of issues from

[49:43] that and it came back that they were all

[49:45] false positive test results and she

[49:48] doesn't have it and so we thank you for

[49:50] praying for that that is a major answer

[49:52] to prayer but continue to pray for her

[49:55] and her little one as well any prayer

[49:57] request let's like he pray for Wy as

[49:59] he's recovering uh he's in a walking

[50:01] boot now so he's heading in the right

[50:04] direction we continue to pray for him as

[50:06] he's recovering from surgery there on

[50:08] his foot other request on this

[51:06] issues with his foot and so even though

[51:10] they had all the tests done and surgery

[51:12] done all that stuff here the last uh

[51:15] month or so it's really been giving

[51:17] problems I really pray for Brady's foot

[51:19] and the situation there with that and so

[53:03] and Calla Williams um in February he'll

[53:06] start uh treatment plans for cancer he's

[53:10] battling prostate cancer so he'll start

[53:12] treatment plans in February for that Bob

[53:15] Williams missionary the Native Americans

[53:18] they have retired from the mission field

[53:21] uh in order for him he's got to travel

[53:23] back and forth from Idabel to Texas uh

[53:27] four or five days a week during

[53:28] treatment time for six weeks and so You'

[53:32] be in prayer for them traveling back and

[53:33] forth and also treatment for the cancer

[53:36] we greatly appreciate that all right so

[53:39] continue to pray also for our pastor in

[53:43] Indiana we work for The Pierces Miss

[53:45] Susan and wife there has cancer and he's

[53:48] going to be starting treatment and

[53:50] really be in prayer for her and the

[53:52] church family there all right let me

[53:55] have a word of prayer with you uh and

[53:57] then I want to encourage you to take

[53:58] some time praying and then after we've

[54:01] had a little bit of time of prayer

[55:02] battling the flu symptoms and some

[55:06] texting even tonight that they're not

[55:08] able to be here because of sickness and

[55:10] Lord we pray that you if they are sick

[55:13] that the symptoms would pass through

[55:15] quickly and they'd get healed very

[55:17] quickly Lord Lord we pray for wisdom and

[55:19] discernment for those that are looking

[55:21] for job

[55:22] situations or for the ones that are

[55:25] battling

[55:27] cancer doing

[55:29] treatments Lord we pray for wisdom and

[55:31] discernment for

[55:33] doctors Lord we pray for the upcoming

[55:35] surgeries that people will be having

[55:38] people that are traveling Lord keep them

[55:40] safe in their traveling

[55:42] Journeys Lord we're thankful that we

[55:45] know even when we're in a

[55:47] storm in your presence there is

[55:51] peace Lord I pray you'd help those that

[55:53] are living in storms right now that you

[55:56] would give them the Assurance of Peace

[56:00] because you are

[56:01] near Lord we know when you're near there

[56:04] is no need to fear but I pray you'd help

[56:08] us to keep that in our hearts but I pray

[56:11] you be with us as we continue in

[56:14] attitude of prayer for these next few

[56:16] moments and Lord that you would work
