[0:44] >> Good evening. We begin tonight with
[0:45] something to think about later this
[0:46] evening. You're at home or in the office
[0:48] or in the car and you go to make a phone
[0:49] call. What do you think the chances are
[0:51] that when you do, you're going to be
[0:53] ripped off by the phone company? There
[0:56] are millions of complaints in this age
[0:58] of deregulation. Millions. And it's a
[1:00] big enough problem for the Congress to
[1:02] take up tomorrow. This week, the
[1:04] government has already revoked a phone
[1:05] company's operating license and finded
[1:08] it $5.5 million for changing customers
[1:11] long-distance service without even
[1:12] asking them. That is called slamming.

[1:23] company. Now there are more than 500.

[1:29] choices come con artists. Burke was
[1:31] slammed.

[1:34] they had to say was that I did order it
[1:37] and then it happened.
