[0:00] have forgotten. Half the state of North
[0:03] Carolina devastated by flooding. Damage
[0:06] estimates in the hundreds of millions.
[0:09] The government doctor who says he broke
[0:11] the rules to do the right thing. Are
[0:14] there secrets the government doesn't
[0:16] want you to know? A dangerous mission of
[0:19] peace begins in East Teour. The
[0:21] peacekeepers take the first steps in
[0:24] unfriendly territory.
[0:27] >> Believe. How far is that going to go?
[0:30] >> And another record set, the amazing
[0:33] Sammy Sosa
[0:39] >> from ABC.
[0:42] This is World News Tonight Sunday.

[1:27] seen a flood of such disastrous
[1:30] proportions. Rivers cresting 20 to 30
[1:33] feet above flood stage. Earth and dams
[1:36] breaching,
[1:39] flooding homes, even entire communities.
[1:42] Hundreds of roads impassible. The losses
[1:45] are expected to exceed all previous
[1:47] disasters. I don't think anyone expected
[1:50] that this would be so bad so fast.
[1:53] >> Most of the deaths occurred when cars
[1:55] and trucks were swept into the flood
[1:57] waters. One of the
