[0:03] now live from cbs4 weather control this
[0:06] is a Hurricane Wilma update good
[0:09] afternoon Rob hanran along with Maggie
[0:10] Rodriguez as your weather station
[0:12] continues to track hurricane wilmo which
[0:14] right now is battering parts of the
[0:15] Yucatan Peninsula we are awaiting a news
[0:17] conference from the National Hurricane
[0:19] Center in Max Mayfield but right now we
[0:21] can talk to our own Brian Norcross and
[0:22] weather control about what Wilma is
[0:24] doing Brian Wilma is very close to KMEL
[0:27] Island just off the Yucatan mainland in
[0:30] Mexico Maggie here let me show you the
[0:32] radar out of Cancun now this radar
[0:34] picture is about an hour old we lost
[0:36] contact with the radar there for a while
[0:38] and then it came back and now we haven't
[0:40] gotten one in an hour but you can see
[0:42] there are two eyew walls here one there
[0:43] and one here and a report in from a
[0:46] blogger in cosmel is saying that the
[0:49] damage is very bad this is worse than
[0:52] hurricane Emily was earlier in the year
[0:55] when it went ashore just south of KML
[0:57] and they were in the right side eyew
[0:59] wall of that one so uh which is not
[1:01] unexpected because we just got word from
[1:03] a hurricane hunter in there that the
[1:05] pressure is not going up it's actually
[1:07] gone down 1 mbar so this is still a very
[1:10] very strong hurricane there let me show
[1:12] you what's going on at the National
[1:13] Hurricane Center that's Max Mayfield
[1:15] getting ready uh to give us a briefing
[1:17] on the new advisory and also Billy
[1:19] Wagner from the Florida Keys is there so
[1:21] we'll join them here very very shortly I
[1:24] think they'll be ready to go in just a
[1:25] few
