[0:00] This is probably one of my favorite
[0:01] skills that I have. And what this does
[0:03] is it's basically when I'm doing things
[0:05] like reviewing PRDS, product specs,
[0:07] working on design docs, discussing
[0:09] feature prioritization, that PRD has the
[0:12] R language. It has our ideas, our
[0:14] principles, [music] and the structure of
[0:16] it ends up looking a lot more like the
[0:18] types of things that if you've been in
[0:19] the room at factory for a year, you
[0:21] would say instead of just what like Opus
[0:23] 4.5 is randomly opining on.
[0:25] >> This is amazing, dude. Maybe you can
[0:26] share this with me privately or
[0:27] something. You only hire product
[0:29] engineers. Are you gonna hire like a
[0:30] regular PM at some point?
[0:31] >> I think what regular PM means has
[0:33] totally changed. Like we have an AE
[0:35] who's the number three Droid user at the
[0:37] company. He's in sales. We're about to
[0:39] publish some interesting work about how
[0:41] Droid basically has passed the threshold
[0:43] of what we call like self-improving.
[0:47] All right, welcome everyone. My guest
[0:49] today is co-founder of Factory, a
[0:51] popular AI coding agent called Joy that
[0:54] works with any terminal or ID. today
[0:56] will show us how great engineers
[0:58] actually work with AI agents but gave us
[1:00] a live demo and we'll also talk about uh
[1:03] the crazy competitive AI coding space
[1:05] and what actually has product market fit
[1:07] in that space. So welcome sir.
[1:08] >> Hey thanks so much for having me. I'm
[1:10] really excited to be here and uh there's
[1:12] nothing more I love chatting about than
[1:14] software development agents.
[1:16] >> All right cool. Yeah so maybe before
[1:18] getting int
