[0:03] Robert Francis Kennedy is like a prism.
[0:06] The color he gives off depends on how
[0:08] you hold him to the light. He is a
[0:11] multi-plane public figure and one of
[0:13] America's most controversial. He gives
[0:15] everyone a choice of which Robert
[0:17] Kennedy they want to admire, despise,
[0:21] trust, distrust, laugh at, scowl at,
[0:25] idolize, blaspheme. Within one 24-hour
[0:29] period, he can be almost everything the
[0:31] voter wants or does not want in his
[0:33] president. He is, first of all, an
[0:36] avatar, a reincarnation of his slain
[0:38] brother. He is the closest any American
[0:41] politician will ever get to John F.
[0:43] Kennedy.

[1:08] may be a Kennedy office joke, it is
[1:11] standard nomenclature in any discussion
[1:13] of him.
[1:13] >> Ladies and gentlemen,
[1:14] >> he is among overblown politicians a cool
[1:17] political realist whose heaviness is
[1:19] relieved by sometimes irresistible sense
[1:22] of humor which he employs at the expense
[1:24] of himself. I asked my wife as I was
[1:27] coming down whether she could think of a
[1:29] joke.
[1:31] She said, "If they look at the top of
[1:32] your head, they'll laugh."
[1:37] >> Do you?
[1:38] >> Yeah.
[1:38] >> How'd you get wet?
[1:40] >> You did not.
[1:41] >> He is for all his competitive zeal and
[1:43] toughness. A touching and tender father
[1:46] whose great wealth is well spent for the
