[0:00] >> his relationship with fellow prosecutor
[0:02] Marshia Clark.
[0:03] >> This is my time to talk.
[0:05] >> It was then, it is tonight. Just ahead
[0:08] on Larry King Live.
[0:19] Now, live from Los Angeles, here's Larry
[0:23] King.
[0:24] >> Good evening. We're in Los Angeles with
[0:26] Christopher Darden, and his new book is
[0:28] just out. In fact, it's out like today.
[0:31] Uh we're going to show the book to you.
[0:33] There it is. In contempt, Christopher
[0:36] Darden. It is published by Harper
[0:37] Collins. Explain that title.
[0:40] >> Well, it it means a number of things. I

[0:56] >> Contempt all the way around. No one is

[1:13] had gone out, no one had asked me to
[1:15] write a book at that point. No one had
[1:16] offered me money directly. I never met
[1:19] an agent. I'd never met a publisher. I
[1:22] uh I knew that there were things that
[1:24] were going to have to be said and there
[1:26] were lots of things that had gone unsaid
[1:28] and I knew that I would be defined uh
[1:31] throughout time by Johnny Cochran and
[1:34] the defense team and I wanted to make
[1:36] sure that I was defined in my own terms.
[1:40] Were you aware, Chris, during that trial
[1:42] that
