[0:01] good afternoon Peter is off today at
[0:05] this hour The Season's ninth tropical
[0:07] storm is turning in the Atlantic less
[0:09] than 200 miles from the coast of Florida
[0:11] NewsCenter 7's Denise white joins us now
[0:13] live from the National Hurricane Center
[0:15] in Coral Gables she's got the latest on
[0:17] tropical storm Isidore Denise
[0:22] tropical storm Isadore is trekking along
[0:25] in our Direction at a slow steady Pace
[0:28] the tropical storm was upgraded to a
[0:31] storm from a tropical depression six
[0:33] o'clock this morning right now Isidore
[0:36] is about 75 miles Southeast east
[0:39] Southeast of Nassau and about 300 miles
[0:42] east Southeast of Miami 45
[0:45] our winds are gusting to 55 miles per
[0:47] hour forecasters here at the National
[0:49] Weather Service are watching Isidore
[0:51] very closely however Dr Neil Frank says
[0:54] the possibility of the storm increasing
[0:56] to Hurricane strength is remote
[1:04] is a little cool that means that it is
[1:07] going to restrict the strengthening and
[1:11] we don't see any change in that pattern
[1:14] coming in in the next several hours but
[1:16] we'll be monitoring it very carefully
[1:17] with our Air Force reconnaissance flea
[1:19] to see if there's any indication now
[1:21] that the winds are going to start
[1:22] increasing so
[1:25] Dr Frank says in effect the battle is
[1:28] taking place in the Atlantic between the
[1:30] Isidore and that cool air Isidore wants
[1:33] to strengthen but so far that moist air
[1:35] won't let him if this continues he will
[1:37] just remain a tropical storm sending us
[1:39] bad weather with blustery winds and big
[1:42] squalls later this afternoon or evening
