[0:00] boarding up windows to their homes,
[0:02] boarding up windows to their businesses.
[0:04] That's been there's been a real run on
[0:05] plywood because of that. People have
[0:07] been tying up their boats as well. Some
[0:09] here even going out to ride the storm
[0:11] out tonight in their boats out there uh
[0:14] on the Cape R Capefir River, which flows
[0:17] into the Atlantic, which is right uh
[0:19] next to Wilmington, North Carolina,
[0:20] where I am. Now, there has been no
[0:22] mandatory evacuation ordered here in

[1:02] this city evacuated. Uh and this area
[1:05] is, as they say in these instances, a
[1:07] ghost town. The moment of truth here
[1:09] will happen in about 2 hours. At 12:11
[1:12] a.m. is the mark when high tide is
[1:15] supposed to hit. At about the same time,
[1:17] the eye of the Hurricane Floyd will pass
[1:20] its closest track to North Myrtle Beach.
[1:23] At that time, you're going to get a stir
[1:25] a storm surge and the high tide at the
[1:27] same time. It could lift the sea to
[1:29] about 1
