[17:46] number four going to give you some

[17:49] introduction before we get into our

[17:51] reading tonight out of Daniel chapter

[17:54] number four Daniel chapter 4 is an

[17:55] interesting chapter in scripture it's

[17:58] starts off with Nebuchadnezzar the king

[18:02] and all the people Nations so he begins

[18:04] talking Nebuchadnezzar does in Daniel

[18:06] chapter 4 and most of the chapter

[18:09] Nebuchadnezzar is the one that is

[18:12] speaking um it's very possible it was a

[18:16] letter that was sent to the Nations

[18:18] which we see later on as the possibility

[18:20] for that but it's interesting to read

[18:23] Daniel chapter 4 and see the vision that

[18:27] God gave nebuch

[18:29] Nezar the dream that he had and then

[18:33] Daniel's interpretation of the dream and

[18:36] then the purpose of it and then what

[18:40] happened to

[18:42] Nebuchadnezzar and tonight we're not

[18:44] going to expound the whole chapter of

[18:47] Daniel chapter 4 we're going to kind of

[18:49] hone in on verses 19 through

[18:52] 27 and then we're going to go to the

[18:55] Book of Romans in chapter 13 and we

[18:59] finished in Romans we'll end up in first

[19:01] Timothy so when we get to First Timothy

[19:04] I've rounded third and I'm headed for

[19:06] home all right so you'll have good news

[19:09] when we get to First Timothy we are

[19:11] coming into third base rounding third

[19:13] and headed for home all right Daniel

[19:15] chapter 4 if you're able to stand would

[19:17] you please stand in honor the word of

[19:18] God we're going to begin reading in

[19:19] verse number

[19:22] 19 Daniel 4: 19 then Daniel whose name

[19:25] was belto shazar was astonied for one

[19:29] hour and his thoughts troubled him the

[19:32] king spake and said belto shazar let not

[19:34] the dream or the interpretation thereof

[19:36] trouble thee belto shazar answered and

[19:39] said my Lord the dream be to them that

[19:42] hate Thee the interpretation thereof to

[19:45] thine enemies the tree that thou sawest

[19:48] which grew and was strong whose height

[19:50] reached unto Heaven and the sight

[19:52] thereof to all the Earth whose leaves

[19:54] were fair and the fruit thereof much and

[19:56] in it was meat for all under which the

[19:59] beasts of the field dwelt and upon whose

[20:01] branches the fowl of Heaven had their

[20:04] habitation it is thou oh King so

[20:07] Nebuchadnezzar is the tree in the

[20:10] vision that art grown and become strong

[20:13] for thy greatness is grown and reacheth

[20:15] unto heaven and thy Dominion to the end

[20:18] of the Earth whereas the king saw a

[20:21] watcher and holy one coming down from

[20:24] heaven and saying heue down the tree and

[20:27] destroy it

[20:29] yet leave the stump of the

[20:32] roots thereof in the earth even with a

[20:35] band of iron and Brass in the tender

[20:38] grass of the field let it be wet with

[20:41] the DW of heaven and let its portion be

[20:44] with the Beast of the field till seven

[20:48] times pass over him this is the

[20:52] interpretation O King and this is the

[20:54] decree of the most high which is come

[20:56] upon my Lord the king that they shall

[20:59] Drive thee from men and thy dwelling

[21:02] shall be with the Beast of the field

[21:05] they shall make thee to eat grass as

[21:08] oxen and they shall wet thee with the de

[21:10] of heaven and seven times shall pass

[21:14] over thee till thou know that the most

[21:18] high ruleth in the Kingdom of men and

[21:21] giveth it to

[21:23] whomsoever he will whereas they

[21:26] commanded to lead the stump of the tree

[21:28] root thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee

[21:34] heavens do rule wherefore oh King let my

[21:37] counsel be acceptable unto thee break

[21:40] off thy sins by righteousness thine

[21:43] iniquities by showing Mercy to the poor

[21:48] lengthening of thy Tranquility let's go

[21:51] Lord in prayer to Heavenly Father Lord

[21:53] we're thankful the opportunity to preach

[21:54] and to teach your word tonight Lord I

[21:56] pray if you would please cleanse me of

[21:57] sin empty me and myself help me to get

[21:59] out of the way tonight and your word may

[22:01] go forth Lord I pray you'd help us to

[22:04] consider you tonight in your name I pray

[22:06] amen you may be seated thank you for

[22:11] standing in Daniel chapter

[22:14] 4 Nebuchadnezzar is the

[22:17] king he has been brought to power his

[22:20] kingdom of Babylon is a large

[22:22] Kingdom it's taken Israel captive and

[22:25] theyve brought in all sorts of people

[22:27] into captivity had many of the wonders

[22:30] of the world it was a marvelous Kingdom

[22:33] in fact Nebuchadnezzar felt very much

[22:36] that he had done well in fact so you

[22:39] know I'm not making it up go to chapter

[22:41] four and we're going to read verse

[22:43] number one Nebuchadnezzar the king unto

[22:46] all the people Nations and languages

[22:48] that dwell in all the Earth peace be

[22:50] multiplied unto you I thought it good to

[22:54] show the signs and wonders that the high

[22:57] God hath wrought toward toward me how

[23:00] great are his signs and how Mighty are

[23:02] his wonders his kingdom is an

[23:05] everlasting Kingdom and his Dominion is

[23:07] from generation to generation that's

[23:09] pretty good statement from King

[23:11] Nebuchadnezzar about

[23:12] God but look at verse

[23:15] four I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in my

[23:18] own house and flourishing in my Palace I

[23:22] saw a dream which made me afraid the

[23:24] thoughts upon my bed and the visions of

[23:26] my head troubled me

[23:29] so Nebuchadnezzar has this

[23:31] dream and he sends for those magicians

[23:35] and Scholars to come interpret it for

[23:37] him they cannot and then he calls for

[23:40] Daniel and Daniel comes and he tells him

[23:42] the dream and then he reveals to him

[23:46] what God's going to

[23:48] do now Nebuchadnezzar is at this moment

[23:52] in

[23:53] time after the writing he turns to the

[23:56] most high after what God does in his

[23:57] life he turns to the most high

[24:01] God but there's a period of time before

[24:04] his time of

[24:06] turning that Nebuchadnezzar's not right

[24:10] with

[24:11] God Nebuchadnezzar is wicked in a

[24:14] previous chapter he builds a statue and

[24:16] tells everybody to Bow Down and Worship

[24:18] it and if you don't Bow Down and Worship

[24:20] the statue of him you're going to be

[24:22] thrown into the fiery furnace everybody

[24:24] anybody ever heard about

[24:26] that so NE nezzar is not really a Godly

[24:30] King in this

[24:33] moment but who put him

[24:36] there well in our chapter we

[24:39] read that he forgot he didn't know that

[24:44] the most high ruleth in the Kingdom of

[24:47] men God is on the throne of heaven and

[24:51] he's in control of everything that

[24:54] happens in this

[24:55] world he's the most high he ruleth It

[24:59] also says in our text he that he ruleth

[25:03] in the Kingdom of men and he giveth it

[25:06] to whomsoever he will so God brings up

[25:11] people to work in the lives of people

[25:16] that are not always Godly

[25:21] politicians sometimes he brings up

[25:23] leadership and allows leadership to rule

[25:27] that are not not what God or what we

[25:30] would call

[25:32] Godly but the purpose of it is to bring

[25:37] the people back to where they needed to

[25:41] be and we could go to Isaiah and I

[25:43] believe it's chapter 55 and we could

[25:45] read that his thoughts are not our

[25:49] thoughts and his ways are not our ways

[25:53] and we don't always understand what God

[25:56] is doing but he is at

[26:01] work and so Nebuchadnezzar this wicked

[26:05] man is in the place of authority and

[26:08] Leadership because God put him

[26:11] there and God put him there for judgment

[26:14] for the nation of Israel God put him

[26:17] there for a period of

[26:18] time but I could say it this way like my

[26:22] mama or my grandmother say he got too

[26:24] big for his

[26:27] britches and what happened is God

[26:29] revealed to him what he was going to do

[26:30] so pick up if you would in verse

[26:33] 28 all this Came Upon King

[26:35] Nebuchadnezzar at the end of 12 months

[26:38] he walked in the Palace of the kingdom

[26:40] of Babylon the king spake and said is

[26:42] not this great

[26:44] Babylon that I have built for the house

[26:48] of the Kingdom by the might of my power

[26:52] and for the honor of my

[26:55] Majesty now while the word was in the

[26:57] king's mouth mouth there fell a voice

[27:00] from Heaven saying oh King

[27:01] Nebuchadnezzar to thee it is spoken the

[27:04] kingdom is departed from thee they said

[27:08] and they shall Drive thee from men and

[27:09] thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of

[27:11] the field they shall make thee to eat

[27:13] grass as oxen seven times shall pass

[27:15] over thee until thou knowest that the

[27:17] most high ruleth in the Kingdom of men

[27:19] and giveth it to whomsoever he will the

[27:23] same hour was the thing fulfilled upon

[27:26] Nebuchadnezzar and he was was driven

[27:28] from men and did eat grass as oxen and

[27:31] his body was wet with the de of Heaven

[27:33] till his hairs were grown like eagle

[27:36] feathers that's not

[27:38] normal and his nails were like birds

[27:43] Claws and at the end of days I

[27:45] Nebuchadnezzar he's talking again lifted

[27:47] up mine eyes unto heaven and my

[27:49] understanding returned unto me and I

[27:50] blessed the most high and I praised and

[27:54] honored him that liveth forever whose

[27:57] Dominion is in ever lasting dominion and

[27:59] his kingdom is from generation to

[28:02] generation so Nebuchadnezzar is turning

[28:05] into a

[28:08] beast for seven times for seven years

[28:10] he's a

[28:12] beast out in the

[28:15] woods eating oxen

[28:20] grass and his hair grows like eagle

[28:23] feathers and his nails like bird claws

[28:26] now you say that's

[28:28] weird it

[28:30] is but it's also a sign of God's mercy

[28:33] because God gave him Claws and feather

[28:37] type hair to keep him warm when it was

[28:40] cold and to help him to dig the grass

[28:44] out of the God's protecting him even in

[28:47] his moment of turning in into an animal

[28:53] in the

[28:55] field why did God do that

[28:59] well God brought Nebuchadnezzar

[29:02] up but God also brought Nebuchadnezzar

[29:06] down and then God helped Nebuchadnezzar

[29:09] come back and the reason why he brought

[29:12] him down he raised him

[29:14] up is for one purpose so that

[29:17] Nebuchadnezzar and all the inhabitants

[29:20] because we find in verse 35 and all the

[29:22] inhabitants of the Earth are reputed as

[29:24] nothing he doth according to his will in

[29:27] the army of Heaven and among excuse me

[29:30] doeth his will doeth according to his

[29:32] will in the army of heaven and among the

[29:34] inhabitants of the earth and none can

[29:37] stay his hand or say unto him what doest

[29:41] thou so he raised him up and he brought

[29:43] him down and he raised him up again so

[29:46] that Nebuchadnezzar would know that the

[29:48] most high ruleth in the Kingdom of

[29:54] men so God's purpose

[29:58] is to remind us of something very

[30:01] important and I brought Nebuchadnezzar

[30:04] out tonight in Daniel chapter 4 for us

[30:07] to remind ourselves that just because

[30:10] someone's in Authority who does

[30:13] wickedness does not mean that God took a

[30:19] vacation just because someone's raised

[30:22] up who does things that are not what we

[30:24] want to be done in a nation does not

[30:27] mean that God said uh my hands are

[30:30] off he's always at work he is the one

[30:33] who ruleth in the Kingdom of men so the

[30:37] most high ruleth in the Kingdom of men

[30:39] now I don't always know why he does what

[30:41] he does in fact I made reference to it

[30:44] but turn in your bibles if you would to

[30:46] Isaiah chapter 55 and verse number8 and

[30:50] verse number

[30:55] nine Isaiah chapter 55

[30:59] verse number eight and verse number

[31:04] nine for my thoughts are not your

[31:07] thoughts neither are your ways my ways

[31:11] sayeth the Lord for as the heavens are

[31:14] higher than the earth so are my ways

[31:17] higher than your ways and my thoughts

[31:20] than your

[31:21] thoughts I don't always understand why

[31:24] God does what he does and how he does it

[31:27] but it's not for me always to understand

[31:29] but I am to trust him no matter what

[31:33] happens so when November comes and the

[31:38] election happens it does not

[31:41] matter as far as whether it's this

[31:44] person or that person as long as we

[31:47] understand that God's the one who raises

[31:50] him up and God's the one who puts them

[31:53] down so take courage and trusting the

[31:56] Lord knows what he's

[31:59] doing now if the most high ruleth in the

[32:02] Kingdom of

[32:05] men and he giveth to whomsoever he

[32:08] willth then there's a second point we

[32:11] ought to consider tonight and it's found

[32:14] in Romans chapter 13 turn over if you

[32:16] would to Romans

[32:19] 13 there's a second point we ought to

[32:23] consider if he's a if he's ruling if

[32:27] he's on the throne if he's the one in

[32:29] charge we ought to

[32:32] consider what he says Romans 13 verse

[32:36] number

[32:37] one Romans 13 verse number one let every

[32:43] soul how many

[32:45] Souls Every Soul be subject unto the

[32:49] higher powers for there is no power but

[32:53] of

[32:55] who God the powers that be are

[33:00] ordained of

[33:04] God God sets government

[33:09] up God's the one who created it God's

[33:12] the one who enabled it God's the one who

[33:15] sets it up it's ordained of god the

[33:18] powers that be are ordained of God

[33:22] because they're of God now sometimes God

[33:25] uses Wicked people to accomplish his

[33:28] will we could rewind back and God used a

[33:32] donkey named B balam's donkey to talk to

[33:36] him and help him to accomplish his will

[33:38] so if God could use a literal donkey God

[33:41] could use other people that are wicked

[33:44] and that have different views to

[33:46] accomplish God's

[33:47] will he could do that he's

[33:51] God you study the Kings and the

[33:54] Chronicles and the those that rose up

[33:57] and did that which is evil in the eyes

[33:59] of the Lord how God used that and those

[34:00] that rose up and were judges and how God

[34:03] used that and God had a plan for that so

[34:06] Romans 13 let every soul be subject un

[34:08] the higher powers for there is no power

[34:10] but of God and the powers that be are

[34:11] ordained of God verse two whosoever

[34:13] therefore resisteth the power resisteth

[34:16] the ordinance of

[34:19] God and they that resist shall receed to

[34:21] themselves a damnation for rulers are

[34:24] not a teror to good works but to evil

[34:29] wil thou then not be afraid of the power

[34:31] do that which is good and thou shalt

[34:34] have the praise of the same so he talks

[34:39] about these governmental roles and the

[34:42] people that are in cment and God's got a

[34:45] plan for it in in uh Matthew I believe

[34:48] it's chapter 18 he even talks about

[34:50] paying

[34:52] taxes God did that paid taxes he paid

[34:56] the temple tax and he paid Caesar's tax

[34:59] and he said to Paul said to render under

[35:01] Caesar that which is Caesar's and we we

[35:04] we find here in our in our text that if

[35:06] God sets government

[35:09] up then he wants us to

[35:12] recognize him and the people he set

[35:18] up so if God sets government up we

[35:21] should be subject to the government that

[35:24] God has placed now how does that work

[35:27] out in daily

[35:30] life if God's plan for

[35:33] Life

[35:35] conflicts with the government's plan for

[35:38] life you follow

[35:42] God if God's plan for your life and

[35:45] living conflicts with the government's

[35:47] plan you follow God when it said let

[35:50] every soul be sep but there's a greater

[35:52] power the greater power is God and so we

[35:56] we find here God sets government up and

[35:59] we should be subject we should pay taxes

[36:01] I don't like paying taxes I want to keep

[36:03] my

[36:04] money don't

[36:07] you but we have to pay all of you know

[36:10] what it's like you're coming down

[36:12] Country Club and you're doing 45 and a

[36:14] 25 and then that black car passes you

[36:17] that says police on the side and you

[36:28] now one of these days we might look and

[36:30] outside in front of the church we might

[36:39] but if we see them with their hands on

[36:45] concerned but what we're we're

[36:48] subject unto that

[36:52] power the speed limit is the speed limit

[37:00] it's true we don't always obey it though

[37:10] okay but we are to consider those

[37:13] things we are to be subject to the laws

[37:17] and the laws and governance are are

[37:19] there to promote a lifestyle that's not

[37:25] chaos ought to be thankful for for the

[37:27] police

[37:28] department the things that they do ought

[37:32] to be thankful for those things hey

[37:34] America is a very young

[37:37] country it's not very

[37:41] old it's pretty young in the scheme of

[37:45] countries we're one of the younger

[37:47] countries but I read my Bible through

[37:50] and I've never found America mentioned

[37:52] by name in the

[37:54] Bible a lot of other countries you find

[37:57] I never found America mentioned by name

[38:00] in the Bible you read the book of

[38:01] Revelation they're not mentioned by

[38:04] name but God placed us to be American

[38:10] citizens God put you in this country for

[38:14] reason and you ought to be a good

[38:18] citizen you ought to be a good citizen

[38:20] you ought to be a citizen who loves

[38:22] God and you ought to be a good citizen

[38:25] and good citizens Godly citizens ought

[38:27] to

[38:29] vote you ought

[38:31] to you say well it doesn't make a

[38:34] difference says

[38:38] who if watch this if God tells you to

[38:43] vote you might want to obey

[38:47] God just

[38:49] maybe just maybe we say well my one vote

[38:52] but if God told you to vote maybe he's

[38:54] expecting your obedience for that one

[38:57] vote

[38:58] just think about it it's just

[39:01] possible we ought to obey

[39:04] God you you ought to care about your

[39:09] country America has been

[39:12] blessed because America was founded upon

[39:16] Christian principles and godly

[39:18] principles now they've left a lot of

[39:20] those and cast a lot of them the side

[39:22] but America originally was founded upon

[39:24] that another reason that I believe that

[39:26] America has been blessed to be the

[39:29] nation that it is is because America has

[39:32] supported the nation of Israel and that

[39:34] is because they are God's chosen

[39:37] people and it it's God's plan to listen

[39:42] Jesus is coming back amen he's coming

[39:45] back we we're at least about at least

[39:47] seven years away from Jesus's literal

[39:50] return to

[39:52] Earth you know I know that because the

[39:54] Rapture hadn't happened yet we believe

[39:56] in a pre tribulation Rapture so at least

[39:59] seven years because after the Rapture

[40:01] we'll have the tribulation period and

[40:02] then at the end of the tribulation

[40:04] period Jesus comes back and when he

[40:06] comes back and he rules and Reigns he

[40:09] starts the millennial Kingdom The Book

[40:12] of Revelation and talks about that book

[40:13] of Isaiah and some of other places and

[40:15] Daniel talks about that and he rules and

[40:17] Reigns from what

[40:19] place what's your Bible say where's he

[40:21] rule and Reign

[40:22] from

[40:25] Jerusalem it's got to be there

[40:30] hello it's got to be there for Jesus to

[40:34] rule and Reign from

[40:38] there so God wants his people the nation

[40:41] of Israel

[40:43] supported and we ought to do that you

[40:45] ought to pray for them you ought to pray

[40:48] for the nation of Israel they are God's

[40:51] chosen people God's got a specific plan

[40:53] for them so we ought to pray for them

[40:57] so he continues on in verse five

[41:00] wherefore ye must needs be subject not

[41:02] only for wrath but also for conscience

[41:05] sake for this for for for this cause pay

[41:09] ye tribute also for they are God's

[41:12] ministers attending continually upon

[41:14] this very thing

[41:16] what God wants me to pay tribute God

[41:18] wants me to pay and they're ordained to

[41:20] God

[41:21] well I know it gets frustrating but our

[41:24] taxes do go help to put and Main

[41:27] maintain the

[41:28] roads state of Oklahoma that's Up For

[41:30] Debate

[41:33] sometimes truthfully it is but that's

[41:37] what it's designed for the maintenance

[41:39] of different things and the

[41:41] infrastructure of the land and some of

[41:43] those type things and we're thankful for

[41:45] those things when they're working right

[41:48] we're thankful for those things when

[41:49] they're working right and God sets it up

[41:52] and God uh wants us to be involved in

[41:54] that and we're look at verse seven

[41:56] render therefore for to all their dues

[41:58] tribute to whom tribute is due custom to

[42:01] whom custom Fear To whom fear honor to

[42:05] whom

[42:06] honor that's the hard

[42:10] part you don't have to like the person

[42:13] to show them the honor of

[42:17] God you don't have to like the person

[42:19] but you can respect the

[42:23] office and we ought to do

[42:25] that and it's easy to complain it's easy

[42:30] to

[42:30] mock make fun

[42:32] of to

[42:37] criticize but God tells us to give honor

[42:41] to whom honor is

[42:43] due and who who put him there who put

[42:46] him there God

[42:49] did now God used people to put them

[42:52] there so God uses people to put them

[42:55] there so God wants us to be involved

[42:57] as good citizens in voting and we ought

[43:00] to be concerned about what's happening

[43:02] in our land we ought to pay

[43:05] attention we ought to take heed to what

[43:08] God says is true and it ought to affect

[43:12] how you

[43:13] vote I'm never going to tell you who to

[43:15] vote for but I am going to tell you that

[43:18] God's got some principles and some

[43:20] things in his word that are very clear

[43:23] that we ought to take to the voting

[43:25] booth with us

[43:27] and so we ought to consider God's word

[43:30] when it comes to who we vote

[43:33] for now one of the things that will help

[43:37] in knowing what God wants you to do in

[43:39] government and knowing that God has set

[43:42] government up and God's got a plan for

[43:44] it and he's ordained it and we're to

[43:45] honor those that are in that position

[43:47] and one of the things that will help you

[43:50] and I to do what we ought to do is found

[43:53] in 1 Timothy Chapter

[43:55] 2 Headed the third take your Bibles to 1

[43:59] Timothy Chapter

[44:15] 2 1 Timothy chapter 2 verse number 1-

[44:22] six Paul writes I exhort therefore that

[44:24] first of all supplications prayers in

[44:27] intercession and giving of thanks be

[44:30] made for all men for what's that first

[44:34] word Kings and for all that are in

[44:40] Authority why that we may lead a quiet

[44:43] and Peaceable life and all

[44:46] godliness and

[44:48] honesty for this is good and acceptable

[44:50] in the sight of God our savior who will

[44:54] have all men to be saved and come into

[44:55] the knowledge of the truth for there is

[44:57] one God and one mediator between God and

[44:59] Men it's the man Christ Jesus who gave

[45:02] himself a ransom for all to be testified

[45:06] in due

[45:09] time number one the most high ruleth in

[45:12] the Kingdom of men and give it to

[45:14] whomsoever he will number two if God

[45:17] sets up government we should be subject

[45:19] to the governments that God have set up

[45:22] number three pray for those in

[45:25] Authority pray

[45:29] in verse two first thing they listed was

[45:32] Kings they were under Roman

[45:36] oppression Nero was on the scene he was

[45:38] not a nice

[45:40] guy he was killing Christians left and

[45:44] right and Paul said pray for

[45:48] him why would I want to pray for him I

[45:51] want to pray that he dies that's what

[45:52] some of them would

[45:54] say no he said pray for Kings pray for

[45:58] all those that are in Authority so the

[46:01] first thing on your prayer list for

[46:02] government people ought to be their

[46:06] salvation ought to be their

[46:08] salvation ought to be if they have a

[46:11] family you ought to pray for their

[46:12] family and their family

[46:14] salvation there's pressures that are

[46:16] applied and being in public office and

[46:19] on public display you ought to pray for

[46:20] those things you ought to pray for

[46:23] wisdom and discernment for them to

[46:25] govern the way God intended for them

[46:26] them to govern in other words that

[46:28] they'd listen to God and not anyone

[46:33] else we could say that they listen to

[46:35] God and not the

[46:37] money they listen to

[46:39] God so we're to pray for those in

[46:45] Authority so the principles in God's

[46:50] word where where God says in the book of

[46:54] Jeremiah where life began

[46:58] that ought to affect that principle

[47:00] ought to affect you in the voting booth

[47:03] where God said life

[47:06] began is found in the book of

[47:09] Jeremiah he said before I form thee in

[47:11] thy mother's womb I knew

[47:14] thee from conception he knew

[47:19] them Life Begins

[47:22] there so we ought to take that principle

[47:25] of God the sanctity of marriage

[47:29] according to God it's one man and one

[47:33] woman not a man and a man not a woman

[47:35] and a woman not a cat and a man not

[47:37] whatever other gender identification

[47:40] problem they're

[47:43] having the sanctity of marriage and what

[47:46] God says about marriage the principles

[47:49] in God's word and what he says ought to

[47:52] affect you and who you vote

[47:55] for so

[47:58] God needs to arise in the United States

[48:03] government we want God to arise in

[48:06] government we want God to be seen at the

[48:10] Forefront we want God to do that so

[48:12] every person ought to go that can be a

[48:16] voter ought to go with the goal of I'm

[48:19] voting for people that are going to help

[48:20] God

[48:21] Arise I'm putting people in office that

[48:24] are going to help God Arise that I'm

[48:26] praying on people that will help God to

[48:29] do that and even if somebody gets in

[48:31] that are not on that I wanted in guess

[48:33] what I have to do pray for them that

[48:35] they'll let God arise in the

[48:38] government because he's still in the

[48:40] miracle working business and he can

[48:42] change a life at any

[48:45] time because he's God he's able to do

[48:48] exceeding abundantly above all that we

[48:50] could watch ask or

[48:54] think he's bigger than that

[48:57] he can do

[48:59] that I don't know why there are seasons

[49:03] in a nation like our

[49:06] nation where it

[49:08] seems that God has allowed people and

[49:13] authority to bring negative

[49:16] things to the cause of

[49:20] Christ but I remind myself of Isaiah

[49:24] 55 his thoughts are not our thoughts and

[49:26] his ways are not our ways but I still

[49:28] have to trust him that he knows what

[49:31] he's

[49:34] doing but I wonder

[49:37] sometimes if when it's not our

[49:40] person if we are greater at complaining

[49:43] than we are at

[49:48] praying and if we are shame on

[49:51] us God's word says for us to pray pray

[49:55] for them pray for them but it gets real

[49:58] easy if they're not on my

[50:01] ticket to complain instead of pray let's

[50:05] do a lot more praying

[50:07] Church let's follow the principles of

[50:10] God's word let's remind oursel that no

[50:13] matter who wins the election God's the

[50:17] one who appointed them to

[50:21] win you say well if God's got

[50:23] appointments for who's going to be why

[50:25] does it matter because he tells us to be

[50:28] subject and he wants us to be good CZ he

[50:30] wants us

[50:33] involved if you care what's going to

[50:36] happen to your children and your

[50:38] grandchildren you ought to pay attention

[50:40] to who you vote

[50:43] for you ought to pay

[50:45] attention so we ought to let God

[50:49] arise in

[50:51] government we ought to adhere to the

[50:54] principles of God's word

[50:58] so tonight as you leave here in just a

[51:00] few moments on the back there in the

[51:03] sound booth there is a sheet that was

[51:05] put together by the faith family

[51:07] Coalition it is not endorsed by either

[51:10] party it is an informational stat sheet

[51:13] on some issues and they have yes no

[51:17] where they stand on those

[51:20] issues that's what we're going to hand

[51:22] out to you by the way in case you're

[51:23] concerned that is legal for any church

[51:28] we are allowed to give you

[51:31] information we are allowed to show you

[51:33] where the candidates lie there is no

[51:36] legal standing that would adhere to that

[51:41] worry about that that's not going to

[51:46] remember that God is in

[51:50] control and he wants us to be good

[51:53] citizens and I believe God's word

[51:56] reveals to us that God gives children to

[52:01] parents to train them up in the nurture

[52:03] and admonition of the

[52:06] Lord not to the government to train them

[52:10] up in the nurture and admonition of the

[52:12] Lord but for parents so I believe God's

[52:15] word indicates that parents answer to

[52:18] God for the decisions about their

[52:22] children important

[52:24] issue I believe God God's word is clear

[52:27] or where God stands on marriage it's

[52:30] kind of important because he like

[52:31] ordained it he started it if it wasn't

[52:34] for God there wouldn't be

[52:37] marriage so we ought to do it God's

[52:43] way the things that God wants to do in

[52:46] our

[52:49] land I I believe that God wants more

[52:52] missionaries to get to the

[52:54] field I think God wants the more kids to

[52:58] be picked up on the bus

[53:00] route he wants more work of the church

[53:04] to be able to do

[53:07] financially and so there's plans that

[53:09] God's put in place in people's lives to

[53:11] help us do that more you ought to pray

[53:14] God what would you have us do by wait

[53:16] it's God's money we should ask him how

[53:19] he wants it managed government would do

[53:22] really good if they asked God how they

[53:23] wanted his money managed

[53:26] it'd be a lot

[53:28] better but tonight when we go in

[53:31] November 5th we need to let God

[53:35] arise now if you can for just a few

[53:38] moments if you look around the

[53:40] room and you see the young people that

[53:42] are in the

[53:44] room that they they can't participate on

[53:48] November 5th they're not old

[53:52] enough but you are having an impact with

[53:57] your vote to affect their

[54:01] future so even if you don't feel like

[54:04] it's G to do you any good think about

[54:07] the ones coming after you and pray God

[54:11] what would you have me to

[54:15] do now God may call some of you to

[54:18] government I think it's a mission

[54:20] field but God may call some of you to be

[54:23] involved in

[54:25] that we'll pray for

[54:29] you but

[54:30] listen government is

[54:34] not the statement is always made

[54:37] separation of church and state that's to

[54:40] keep the state out of the church that's

[54:41] not to keep the church out of the

[54:44] state Christians ought to be involved in

[54:47] government Christians ought to pray for

[54:48] government we ought to be concerned

[54:50] about what's coming down the line we

[54:52] ought to pay attention

[54:56] and we ought to pray very very

[55:00] powerfully so tonight with a lot of the

[55:02] young people in the room I want you to

[55:05] think about them of November the

[55:08] 5th what God would have you to do for

[55:12] them and for your

[55:14] country but also right now you're ready

[55:18] to go in the invitation time I think we

[55:20] ought to pray for those that are in

[55:23] Authority we ought to pray for them we

[55:25] ought to pray pray for God's will to be

[55:28] done in the election we know he's the

[55:30] most high we ought to pray that it gets

[55:32] accomplished that Satan keeps his hands

[55:34] off of it when God ordains

[55:38] it now today would you

[55:42] pray for those that are in Authority

[55:44] would you pray God what would you have

[55:45] me to do but

[55:48] also would you pray for one

[55:51] another as we ought to pray for one

[55:55] another especially in a season like this

[55:58] we ought to pray for one another would

[56:00] you bow your heads and close your

[56:04] eyes let God arise in

[56:08] government God sets them up and he can

[56:11] take them

[56:12] down but God uses his

[56:15] people to be in the process of

[56:18] government God started this government

[56:20] God ordained this government God's the

[56:22] one who allows this government to have

[56:24] the current voting laws that it has so

[56:27] we ought to use what God has allowed to

[56:29] be used when it comes to voting and

[56:33] letting our voice be heard heavenly

[56:36] father I pray tonight that you'd help

[56:39] us over the next few weeks to pray God

[56:42] who would you have me vote

[56:44] for God what would you have me vote

[56:48] for and that we'd pray for the leaders

[56:51] that are on all the tickets and we'd

[56:53] pray for

[56:54] them Lord I I pray you'd help us tonight

[56:57] to pray and ask you what you'd have for
