[0:02] I'm Orland Sydney we are keeping our
[0:03] eyes on what is a very strong storm
[0:06] Category 2 uh Hurricane George continues
[0:09] in the Gulf of Mexico we're watching The
[0:11] Rain pretty much move away from the
[0:12] Florida coast currently I 75 between
[0:15] Tampa and Southward it does look like
[0:17] it's going to continue to be pretty wet
[0:19] today but most of the rain is moving
[0:21] away currently and we're focusing our
[0:23] eyes now a little bit further to the
[0:24] Northwest for a potential second
[0:27] landfall this weekend Hurricane Warning
[0:29] is in effect now from Morgan City
[0:30] Louisiana to Panama City Florida there
[0:33] is a hurricane watch out to the west
[0:35] from Morgan City Louisiana to inter
[0:37] coastal city Louisiana out to the east a
[0:40] tropical storm warning hurricane watch
[0:42] and effect from Panama City Florida to
[0:44] St Mark's Florida so just about all of
[0:47] the Gulf Coast at least in the north you
[0:49] have to be concerned about potential
[0:50] landfall of this storm most likely
[0:53] landfall point right now looks like
[0:54] beerus Louisiana and I don't want you to
[0:57] concentrate too much on the exact
[0:58] landfall of the center because the
[1:00] hurricane force winds at this point
[1:02] extend out some 125 miles from the
[1:04] center just to give you an idea between
[1:07] New Orleans and gulport that's only 74
[1:09] miles New Orleans and buuy is only 87
[1:12] miles so if the storm comes Inland in
[1:14] any of these areas you could see
[1:16] tropical storm force winds or even
[1:18] hurricane force winds over a large area
[1:20] we'll take a closer look at the track
