[0:01] the situation despite the expressions of

[0:04] desire for peace now. Uh and and and I

[0:07] think it will enhance the prospects for

[0:08] a deal with the Assyrians for example,

[0:10] but that will in turn make politics

[0:12] within Israel that much more dangerous.

[0:13] >> That's an interesting point. But but but

[0:15] you you say metaphorically a civil war.

[0:17] I mean I there there are some people who

[0:19] think that this could actually erupt

[0:20] into a real civil war. You agree with

[0:22] that?

[0:23] >> No. But uh but Rabin was taking Israel

[0:26] on a on a course that half the country

[0:59] Perez is the man who can be trusted to

[1:02] deal with the Arabs. He is known as a

[1:04] softliner. He is known as somebody who

[1:06] wants to capitulate on every important

[1:08] issue. Yeah, it was interesting was in

[1:10] reading all about this this morning, I

[1:11] had to be reminded or informed, I'm not

[1:13] sure which, that about the vote in the

[1:15] Knesset, which was about just a couple

[1:16] of votes by which the peace process uh

[1:19] by which a piece of court passed. So

[1:21] there's a pretty d
