[0:00] in this video I'm gonna show you how to

[0:02] progressively summarize a digital note

[0:05] what do I mean by that

[0:07] progressive summarization I know that's

[0:09] a mouthful is a really really powerful

[0:12] technique that I developed over some

[0:14] years that is really about structuring

[0:17] the note it's really about organizing

[0:19] not just your notes in general but

[0:21] inside of a note organizing the

[0:23] information that is found within a note

[0:25] and I think the best way to explain it

[0:28] is just to show you it's actually very

[0:30] straightforward it's very simple it just

[0:32] makes you so bolding and highlighting

[0:33] things that you know how to do probably

[0:35] very well the point that we're at in our

[0:37] book summarization process is we're

[0:40] finally at the stage where all of these

[0:42] highlights that we've taken from the the

[0:45] original book are finally in a place

[0:47] that we control right before it was on

[0:49] Amazon's website it was inside of the

[0:52] Kindle it was somewhere that we had

[0:54] limited options what we've done until

[0:56] now is just bring all of this into a

[0:58] nose app of some kind where we are free

[1:01] to edit and change and add formatting

[1:03] and all these different things this is

[1:05] really where the fun begins and let me

[1:08] show you what it looks like to to

[1:10] progressively summarize your highlights

[1:12] that you've exported from an e-book the

[1:14] way I think of the layers is layer zero

[1:16] is the original book it's like the

[1:21] ground floor it's the source layer one

[1:24] are the notes that we previously

[1:27] exported the just the the highlights

[1:29] from the e-book that you bring into your

[1:31] Notes app layer two is
