[0:00] If you're a PM and you think that your
[0:01] job is to make documents and slide decks
[0:03] for upwards review and alignment, you're
[0:05] going to love this new world that we're
[0:07] in. You get to make things too. People
[0:10] need to see that leaders in their
[0:11] organization are making things too. And
[0:14] that is what inspires and actually
[0:15] creates the inflection. We're entering a
[0:17] world where design is the new code.
[0:19] You'll be designing in a visual first
[0:21] way and you'll be able to do a pull
[0:23] request right to production. Direct
[0:25] manipulation on the canvas is just
[0:27] clearly superior to prompting and
[0:29] probably design direct manipulation is
[0:31] superior to code editing. As we move
[0:33] ahead, the world gets a lot more
[0:35] visually interesting, too. I'm hopeful
[0:36] that this will be like a renaissance
[0:38] period for that.
[0:42] All right. Hey everyone, I'm really
[0:43] excited to host Dylan today. Dylan is
[0:45] the co-founder and CEO of Figma, one of
[0:47] my favorite tools by by far. And uh
[0:50] there's a lot changing in the world.
[0:51] also really excited to chat with him
[0:52] about designer's role in the age of AI
[0:54] and you know craft and everything else.
[0:56] So welcome sir.
[0:57] >> Thank you so much Peter. Appreciate you
[0:59] having me.
[1:00] >> You know if I could start my career over
[1:01] again I'll be a designer.
[1:04] >> You can still do it. Not too late.
[1:06] >> I mean especially nowadays where
[1:08] everyone just a builder. Everyone is
[1:09] wearing multiple hats. Um, but I think
[1:12] but I think you know there's like a lot
[1:13] the world's changing fast and there's a
[1:15] lot of things happening and you kind of
[1:17] made a bunch of podc
